    Frida Kahlo walk and tour

    Steven_W, Mar 2026
This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Sebastian was exceptional. His knowledge of the local area, its history and culture was fantastic. He has a great sense of humor that adds to the enjoyment of the tour. He explained everything about the life of Frida Kahlo so that by the time we got to visit her house, it all made sense. And the markets and food we visited were wonderful. Can’t recommend this tour, and Sebastian enough.

Great tour! Fun guide and great food

    Ask for Jordan!

    Cherri_S, Feb 2026
My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoy small group tours to introduce us to various cities. This tour was one of the best experiences, primarily because Jordan was our tour guide. Jordan was warm, friendly, entertaining, and a great storyteller. If you want an introduction to Mexico City, this is your tour and Jordan is your tour guide!

    Great day!

    Kara_R, Feb 2026
Rosa was very knowledgeable and was such a wonderful tour guide. She is passionate about her city and Frida and Diego. Truly enjoyed every minute!

Oh this was a real treat. I personally booked it cause i wanted to go to Fridas museum and couldn’t get tix in time, but our guide MARIA 😍 oh Mariaaaaaa 😍 took us on a beautiful journey through Coyoacans history including Fridas life. I highly recommend this tour for whoever is a fan or not. Maria with a background in history has so much knowledge, super friendly and created the best time for all of us. On top of that, we tried the best food in the market, yummm 😋 Thank you Maria 💗

Informative and enjoyable. Rolf was great host . We were delayed due to traffic and he was accomodating and positive and made sure we do not miss the start of program. We enjoyed the interactive learning about Frida Kahlo ‘s life.

Meg is the best tour guide - you won’t be disappointed with this one. Perfect balance of history, food, art and culture. Can’t recommended highly enough.

The experience was absolutely wonderful. Nothing felt rushed and Maria was especially kind to those with special needs and who needed accommodations! We found food and places we wouldn’t have seen or tasted if not for this tour.

    Culture, art, snacks... so good!

    Debra_S, Sep 2025
This tour was excellent. Our guide was a great storyteller and really brought Frida alive. The stops were all worth the time, and the snacks were fantastic.

    Amazing Tour for Frida Lovers!

A great experience. Totally worth the time. Our guide Jenny was very knowledgeable and we had an amazing time. .

    Thank you Jordan!

    Maryam_A, May 2025
Jordan was fantastic! He’s a great storyteller - hearing him explain the history behind CDMX and Frida’s life was very engaging and he took us through beautiful and meaningful parts of coyoacan. We loved the little bites we enjoyed along the way - he’s very funny and the timing of each part of the tour felt perfect. It was so nice that the museum entrance is included in this tour, and it was the last thing on the itinerary so we were free to roam around at our own pace. 10/10 recommended!!

    Couldn't be better!

    David_W, Apr 2025
Jordan was amazingly knowledgeable and told the story of Frida and the area very well. And he was able to bridge the gap between native Mexican people, Frida, and current day thought.

    Great Frida y Diego History

    Brandi_M, Apr 2025
Jen was a great guide, telling us the whole Frida and Diego telenovela. Along the way, we saw the sights and had great food. Highly recommend.

    Diego was terrific. Great...

    Cecily_T, Apr 2025
Diego was terrific. Great time visiting Coyoacán and the museum. We decided to do this because the Frieda Kahlo museum was sold out during our trip- but this tour added so much to our experience. We loved seeing the streets where she walked and get a better understanding of the cultural context of her day to day life. We recommend this experience, a great way to see Coyoacán!

    Great Tour and Guide!

    Mabel_U, Apr 2025
This was the first tour I did on my solo trip to CDMX. Cedrela was our guide and she sent prompt and detailed instructions the day before on where to meet which was super easy to get to and identify the group. She was very detailed in her historical facts of not only Frida but the demographic of the area to really ground the tour. She was truly so kind and patient with the group as well. She even made note I had a reservation and sent me my museum ticket in case I wanted to go ahead. We did go over the alotted time so just be cautious of any plans you may have after as we got to the Museo closer to 2pm and the tour began at 1030. This is also a great deal - you will get some yummy bites and beverages in addition to access to the museum plus multiple bathroom stops throughout. Don’t hesitate to book!

This was such a great walking tour filled knowledge and amazing local food. I would highly recommend this walking tour!

Much better than just getting tickets to La Casa Azul

    Clayton_S, Apr 2025
To be honest we only bought this tour because it was the only way we could get tickets to La Casa Azul and I am so happy that it was! The tour covered a ton of Coyoacán, the history of the area, and of course a deep dive into Frida and Diego. There was more food than we were expecting which was a nice surprise. Daniella was absolutely great! Even when dealing with a particularly needy group member she handled it like an absolute pro. There is a strict entrance time at Casa Azul, but you can stay as long as you want which my wife very much enjoyed. We stayed about an hour which was plenty of time to not only see everything but to sit and relax and really take it all in. The tour was a 10/10. Would highly recommend it to my friends and if you're lucky you'll get Daniella as your guide as well!

    Tour con Daniela

    Daniela_P, Apr 2025
Awesome experience. Great information and great food and locations. Highly reccomend! Daniela was awesome! My only recommendation as an add on is perhaps learn more about the churro history? We had a great time! Thank you!

    Our guide was amazing!...

    Lani_W, Mar 2025
Our guide was amazing! She had so much knowledge about the history and of Frida’s story. She took us to the best places for food, especially the churros. It was the perfect way to spend a morning and one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you.

    Lovely tour

    Katryna_F, Mar 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Rolf is informative and knows so much about Coyoacàn and Frida. We learned a ton and loved all of the history and stories he shared. The snacks we stopped for were delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Great way to see Coyoacan and see the Frida Kahlo museum

    Victoria_G, Mar 2025
The tour was well-organized and covered history, art, culture and the food of Coyoacan. The guide as excellent and keep the conversation lively and fun.

    Awesome tour with great history!

    Alicia_C, Mar 2025
Cristina was excellent! She is very knowledgeable; connecting art, history and the neighborhood. We had churros, quesadillas, tostadas, local fruits and agua frescas. Then when we got to the museum we cut the line. Cristina took good care of us crossing the street and always pointed out the bathrooms along the tour. 12 out of 10 do recommend!

Amazing! Jenny was very friendly and she told stories and shared a lot of suggestions about the city. Additionally, she was very kind and provided amazing snacks.

Personalized Culinary Experience service through Xochimilco

    Christina_R, Mar 2025
Exactly what we wanted for a culinary experience with cultural education. Xochimilco's finest for sure. The Owner Miraslov sent a taxi to our hotel (somehow Viator bumbled the communication to her) but she handled it like a pro! She met us at the docks and while we did not have the market tour that was not a must for us. We joined a lovely group on our trajinera and her assistant Jesus was phenomenal! We literally cut and prepared our tamale dish and cooked on a barbecue while we were paddled in the Aztecan canals. She told us so much historical context and her pride of Xochimilcocame through. One Aguas refresca included but another boat pulled up to sell us more beverages. Just a memorable calm time.

    Daniela is a star

    Chris_L, Mar 2025
Daniela was an exceptional tour guide. She was knowledgeable and made our trip to the Frida Khalo museum and Coyoacan 1000x more interesting. And her English was so good I thought she was American for most of the tour. This meant I could understand everything she said and had an easy time asking follow up questions. Very glad we did this tour with Daniela.

    Leslie_A, Mar 2025
Gabrielle was a great guide, we learned a lot and enjoyed our time in Cuyoacan. Gabrielle’s information about Frida Kahlo’s life made the visit to her home more meaningful.

    tommeestone, Mar 2025
We had a great day in Coyoacán! The market stops were cute and the snacks were tasty! There was not too much walking if that’s a concern. The Frida museum was beautiful and is worth the trip down south if you’re staying further north or more central in the city. Uber is definitely the way to go. Last, but certainly not least, our tour guide Ana was really great. She knew so much about the city and Frida. She shared great stories about historical Coyoacán and Frida’s life which really made the experience at the museum more fulfilling. I’m really glad that we went with the tour instead of doing just the museum entry by itself.
