Albert was a wonderful tour guide. My wife and visited virtually all you could see on the Island with our tour. Albert knew some great hide-away-spots, great photo stops and being a native, really knew the Malta. His driving is very cautious on an island where driving is a bit unique. Always had cold water, never rushed and was so enjoyable. Cannot say enough how good our tour was!

Great driver, clean car and nice tour!

Albert was fantastic! From reaching out the day before our tour, to showing up early day-of and then the tour itself….he was just lovely. Clean Mercedes, he opened our doors for us and was especially helpful to me being I was in a boot and with crutches. He allowed us to take as much time as we wanted and gave us a great recommendation for lunch in Mdina. Excellent driving & good aircon (it was hot out, so that was important!) Would highly recommend a tour with Albert!!

Albert is the best! So friendly and knowledgeable. We let him choose where to take us for our tour of Malta and it was the best decision. He let us wander as long or as little as we wanted, we never had to wait in line, and he was always there to great us when we were done. This is the way to see Malta if you can. If you have an itinerary of places you want to see just let him know and he will take you there or you can do what we did and let him show us his beautiful country.

Our driver John was wonderful. He was so patient and kind. This adventure was slow paced and exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, we had to adjust the schedule a little because my husband was experiencing some dizziness. John was absolutely marvelous making sure he got in and out of the vehicle safely. I would definitely tell everyone to take this tour. The overview of the island is a good start for a week of adventure!

Wonderful Malta Day Tour

Maltese history, architecture, and culture have made our experience on the islands a very memorable time. The full day tour took us to all the amazing places in the southern part of Malta. Our driver, Albert, was a native of Malta and was very knowledgeable about the island and provided us with a wonderful experience. We had a lovely lunch in the old city of Mdina which also provided an impressive panoramic view of central Malta. We would highly recommend this tour and feel it was a good value. Very much worth the experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best tours we've ever had! Albert was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. He picked us up in his beautiful new Mercedes and immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. What really stood out was how much he catered the tour to us. He took the time to find out what we were interested in seeing and built the day around that, while also adding a couple of surprise stops that weren't on our original list—but ended up being some of the places we were most glad we visited! Albert was incredibly friendly, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. He was constantly making sure we were comfortable and having a good time, even opening doors for us and helping us get some great pictures along the way. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about making our day special rather than simply taking us from one attraction to the next. We saw so much of Malta, including the Blue Grotto, Mosta Dome, Hagar Qim, Mdina Glass, and the incredible city of Mdina, but honestly, Albert was what made the experience so memorable. We've taken quite a few tours over the years, and this was easily one of the best we've ever had. If you're visiting Malta and have the opportunity to tour with Albert, book him! You won't regret it. 🇲🇹❤️

Alberto was very professional and flexible in approach. He was able to take us places we would not have found ourselves and as he is well known in the main areas of interest he had good suggestions for what we should see and do. We received good directions before meeting Alberto and the day went very smoothly. Although not a guide Alberto was able to tell us a lot of information which made the day even more interesting. Certainly I would recommend Alberto for a good day which allows you to see a lot of places of interest in Malta.

Albert was a very safe and reliable host. His car was nice and clean. This was my first trip to Malta, with my teen daughter. He picked us up from our hotel and he showed us much of the island. We were able to see the key sights including Medina, the neolithic ruins, the fishing village and the 3 cities. As a native Maltese, he was able to share much of this island’s proud history and culture. He will tailor the tour according to your wishes. I would recommend his services if you would like a private driver for all the sights in Malta.

Albert is a very professional driver and tour guide. A family man doing his job with great enthusiasm. This man goes out his way for you to make the tour effortless and interesting. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of Malta when chauffeuring you around the island. He is also very flexible about where you want to go and can deviate from the original itinerary if you wish. All in all a great tour lasting 6 hours or more with time for meals and walks at places of your choice. Highly recommended. I have to add, the vehicle was a Mercedes with ice cold air conditioning, which you need when the temperature is 30* plus outside. Thanks again Albert.

Best way to see Malta in 1 day

I booked the 6 hours private car, and we loved our driver Albert. We let him take us around to his recommended destinations, and we were treated pretty much like VIPs all day. He stopped multiple times for photo opportunities, and even picked off some cactus fruit for us on the side of the road. We got immediate front-row parking at all the stops, and he led us straight to the front of several attractions without having to stand in line. We got a lovely lunch recommendation in Medina, as well as some recommendations for later in our trip for beaches and authentic Maltese food. Wonderful way to spend my birthday and become immersed in the island.

This is a highly recommended and excellent day Activity in Malta. If you want to see a lot of Malta but have limited time, or just want some affordable sightseeing with a bit of comfort and luxury then this is definitely the way to go. Albert is extremely accommodating and also plans the day very well to ensure your expectations are met. He went over and beyond with our booking prior to and during the day of our Activity to understand where we wanted to visit and took note of our wishes. Polite, kind and respectful Albert is the ultimate professional, but is also friendly and understanding. Albert is well spoken in both Maltese and English and went out of his way numerous times for us to ensure we captured the heart of Malta and fulfilled our hopes for a very memorable day. We highly recommend Albert and this exceptional tour. This Activity takes you in comfort (air conditioned in the warm/hot weather and heating in the cooler temperatures) from your pickup address and returns you to the meeting point. A very comfortable and affordable way to see so much of Malta if you have limited days to explore. It frees you up to do other things during your stay as you can cover a lot of the attractions in one day. Complimentary water and Maltese sweets were a bonus, and a small gift at the end of the tour just added to the already excellent service. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable, and tailored the itinerary to help me see as much of Malta as possible in a single day. He even adjusted the route to avoid cruise ship crowds and managed to fit in extra stops from my wish list. John provided helpful tips at each location, kept me supplied with cold water, and made sure I knew where facilities were along the way. Thanks to his planning, I saw far more than I could have managed on my own. At €370, this isn't a cheap tour, but I felt it was excellent value for the amount I saw and the time it saved. What would have taken me 3–4 days to organize myself was comfortably covered in one day. Highly recommended for solo travellers or small groups who are short on time and want to make the most of their visit to Malta.

This tour was in a luxury automobile with our private driver/guide Albert Polidano. He was charming and very accommodating to all our requests. That’s the beauty of this tour which you can tailor to your preferences. However, we do not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues as there are many stops, including about five churches, which require a lot of walking and many steps to climb. Ramps are not always available. That said, this is probably the best way to see Malta in a day and Albert made this a very pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful tour around Malta with Charlie. He catered to our interests so we got to tour a church rather than just pass by. We saw some beautiful views and got fresh fish for lunch. If I had to find a complaint the only one would be the lack of historical information. But we truly had a great tour and recommend Charlie as a guide.

Best private tour with Albert

This was the best excursion my mom and I took from our 10 day Mediterranean cruise in May 2026. Our private driver Albert was the perfect driver given he is authentically Maltese and took us to the most memorable sites all around Malta for 6 hours. My sister ended up not going with us last minute so I thought cost might be prohibitive for just the two of us. When we priced out other excursions for 2 people they were about the same. We were so glad we didn’t cancel. Albert gave us just the right amount of information and history of the places we were visiting beforehand that it was fine with us we didn’t have a tour guide at each site. If you want detailed information you can always download walking tour or museum guide. Albert was always prompt to pick us up at exact time and location specified. Thank you Albert for taking great care of me and my 83 year old mom! We will be recommending Albert to all of our family and friends visiting Malta.
