George was an excellent guide. He drove us all over Malta. We saw many wonderful sights… Meliha, Blue Grotto, Church of the Miracle Bomb, Medina and Fishing village. Just to name a few. He explained the history and was very knowledgeable. He also assisted me with my mobility issues. It was a truly wonderful experience!
You will find more to see than you have time for, choose wisely! We had to skip the Rabat catacombs to get to Mdina and still get back to our hotel. However the tour went off without a hitch, Mark was an amazing driver with tons of his personal knowledge of his island nation that he freely shared, from his police cadet days meeting Gorbachev and Bush to his less glorious story of meeting the later Canadian Trudeau (an appropriate meeting point if you ask my personal opinion, if you get Mark as your driver ask him about meeting sock man Justin)! Chris was also great to deal with as we provided a list of everything on the island we wanted to see, and organized us a great lunch at Coast near the Blue Lagoon. We really enjoyed our day, and have reasons for a return to Malta when we will for sure rebook for a different series of experiences.
Tony was an awesome driver . He told us all about the history of Malta and allowed us to go at our own pace. He brought us to this great restaurant with an amazing view and breeze . The food was also good. We would highly recommend Tony and the tour

We had an absolutely fantastic day and honestly couldn’t recommend this company highly enough.
First and foremost, a huge amount of praise has to go to our driver, Toni. What an amazing man. He was so lovely, incredibly knowledgeable and clearly has a real passion for Malta. He was just beyond perfect.
We had a pretty action-packed itinerary, but throughout the entire day Toni never stopped sharing information with us — exactly what we wanted. He gave us recommendations on things to see, things to try and eat, and even where to go in certain areas to get the best experience. Nothing ever felt forced or like a rehearsed tour; it was simply someone who genuinely knows and loves Malta sharing that knowledge with us. He really added something special to what was already a fantastic day. 10/10 for Toni and the whole driving experience.
The communication beforehand with Chris was also excellent. We explained the sort of day we wanted, Chris took everything on board, made a few suggestions and together we came up with an itinerary that was then passed on to Toni. Everything worked exactly as it should and I genuinely can’t fault the experience.
We’d done something similar in Lisbon previously and had such a good experience there that my expectations for Malta were pretty high. I’m very happy to say they were not only met, but probably exceeded.
If you’re considering booking with this company, go for it. It was worth every penny and easily one of the highlights of our time in Malta.
This was a perfect experience. Our driver Darren made the experience everything we wished for. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He was great. Adjusted our tour as needed. We spent an amazing day and Darrin made it a perfect 10..
We had a great day exploring Malta with a private car and driver. We had the freedom of seeing what we wanted to see and set the pace of touring. Our driver (George) was outstanding and provided great insight. 100% recommended.

Chris was very good so much information about Malta and places we visited. Were able to personalise our trip to what we wanted and had good contact before to sort out.

Douglas is an extremely knowledgeable guide who was able to teach us all about Valetta and the overall history of Malta. This tour is a great jumping off point before exploring Valetta more on your own.
Highly recommend this tour. It was exactly what we wanted. Our driver was Bjorn and he was very accommodating to what stops we wanted to see. We were able to see everything we wanted including a boat ride at the blue grotto!
I had the good fortune of booking this tour, which gave me a wonderful sense of beautiful Malta. This was my first time in the country, and after spending, unfortunately, only a few hours there, I already want to come back and spend much more time exploring it.
First, the pre-cruise communication with Chris via WhatsApp was excellent. He confirmed all the details of my tour, including the date, number of passengers, pick-up time, and location, and he also shared plenty of helpful recommendations about things to see and do.
Tony was the driver for our tour, and it was an absolute pleasure spending the day with him. He took us to all the main sights in Malta that could reasonably fit into a shore excursion like ours. We spent about an hour and a half exploring Floriana and Valletta, including a visit to St. John’s Co-Cathedral (bought the tickets online the day before). We then visited the Three Cities and had about an hour to walk around Vittoriosa (so beautiful), followed by the Blue Grotto, where we took the boat tour and had lunch at a local restaurant (which was just okay). We also visited the Hagar Qim Temples and the Mdina Fortress.
Tony’s van was impeccably clean and comfortable, and his driving made my family and me feel completely safe throughout the day.
One thing I would like to clarify for future travelers is that Tony drove us to the various sites and explained things along the way, but he did not accompany us inside the attractions because he is not a licensed tour guide. I was aware of this when I booked the tour (the tour description makes this very clear), so it was not a problem for me. However, to fully enjoy this type of tour, you should be comfortable exploring the sites independently. At some stops, Tony would drop us off and meet us again shortly afterward, sometimes at the same location and sometimes just a few meters away.
Would I book this tour again? Absolutely! And, if possible, I would definitely request Tony as the driver.
Overall, it was well worth the price, a wonderful way to get a taste of Malta during a short shore excursion, and I highly recommend it.
We misunderstood that this was only transportation, not a guided tour. We were dropped off in various locations, given a pick up time and were left on our own. Bottom line it was an expensive cab ride around Malta.
David was a great guide showing us the beauty of Malta. He was very knowledgeable and the love for his country shined through.

Didn’t get any information from our driver. He didn’t offer any introduction whatsoever and was a bit unfriendly. Vehicle was fine his English was poor.

We sailed on Celebrity Equinox - the Valletta cruise port is very simple and easy to navigate. We did the customizable private tour and it was perfect! Peter, our driver took us everywhere and added personal touches to help us understand the island. Malta is beautiful! Communications were wonderful from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Great private tour. Chris was so communicative beforehand to ensure we had a great experience. Our driver, George, added a lot of great color about the country and was great about giving us options about what to see. A really great way to see as much of the country in one day (we were on a cruise) as possible.

Super experience. Very friendly driver, perfectly on time, very easy at the places we were visiting … winning a lot of time as we do not need to search for parking. Very efficient way to visit Malta! Very good communication also before the ride. They booked even a nice sea view restaurant for our lunch.

It’s a long day so make sure you have comfy shoes and plenty of water if you’re there in summer.
Tony was our driver, spoke good English, history and knowledge was great, answered all our questions. Tony was welcoming, caring and attentive at all times. All the places we visited Tony recommended and we were not disappointed. Definitely a great tour and worth doing….

Great day with Tony as our driver. Tony gave information and history on Malta while driving but then gave us time to see things on our own. We went around Valletta and surrounding areas. We also went to the Blue Grotto and Mdina. We were back by 3pm and the ship left at 4:30pm. The Blue Grotto was an extra charge that we paid at the ticket booth.

Five stars all the way. Our tour guide Sunny was excellent. Great personality, attention to detail, and allowed his pride of Malta to make our experience unforgettable. Lotts packed into one day, so in all fairness if you can take two or three days of Malta, you probably still won’t see all the beauty, but we did manage to go to St. John’s Cathedral, the Blue Grotto, the Medina and the cliffs. Delicious food along the way with great company highly recommend Sonny and his team.

It was an excellent personal tour with my family. Darren, our very good driver and guide was kind and very knowledgeable of Malta, both history and current events. We were able to visit them all including a good lunch of rabbit stew. St. John’s was magnificent

Kenneth was extremely communicative and helpful! Kenneth was also very accommodating to my father, who required a wheelchair, even waiting and talking with him in the van while our party did a short sightseeing event. Kenneth made a great suggestion for lunch, called ahead to ensure we had great seating and worked hard to ensure my father had the most accessible routes and table. Would highly recommend!!

Our driver took us to some great sights in Malta and provided some commentary on the area. Keep in mind they are drivers only, unless you opt for a tour guide. I only have 4 stars due to being driven in a small station wagon car rather than a van which smelled of cigarette smoke.
