Best experience! We loved seeing the city on bike. They bikes ran great. The guide was knowledgeable and we learned a ton about the city. Our 10 year old was able to ride and we all had a great time. We felt Very safe riding around, all the cars were very respectful to bikers.

Fantastic electric bike tour around the city of Mazatlan, Mexico. Our guide was Sebastian. He was very knowledgeable, bi-lingual, and had a great sense of humor. Took us to many places, provided water, and took lots of pictures for the entire group. We learned alot about the city and the local people. We stopped at some very interesting spots (saw cliff divers and a large local open market). The tour lasted 3 hours. Sebastian was very concerned about our safety in the local streets and made sure that were aware of how to operate the bikes safely. Highly recommended tour. 10 out of a possible 10.

Good tour but should be longer. It would have been nice to ride to the end of the Malacon and seen the Mazatlan sign and statues
Kimberly_Y, Feb 2026
Sebastion was an excellent guide making us feel safe, giving us a good ride with interesting historical perspectives on areas visited- the bikes though mostly in working order could have had better maintenance - You will not go wrong with Sebastion as your guide!

The e-bikes are old and unreliable. The pedal assist system is very "quirky" and does not respond as a usual ebike would. The tour itself is interesting but could use less "political" commentary about foreign investment and focus on history.

Was not happy with the tour guide. He did not take us to all the listed attractions and just kept saying we needed to hurry to get back in time, but then he would spend time stopping and complaining about cars from China and American nursing homes ???. The bikes worked great and it is a great way to see the city,

Easy to find the meet up location and the tour guide was very thorough on how to use the bikes. The bikes were in poor condition. One of our bikes made this awful clicking/rubbing noise the entire trip and when you put the brakes on the neck of the bike moved and clattered. The tour around the city was very informative and the tour guide did a great job explaining everything. Driving a bike in mazatlan with other cars around is not for the faint of heart. I was scared for my life the entire 2.5 hours. One girl in our group was crying more than half of the time because she was so afraid. If you like to live on the edge then do this tour. If I had my daughter on this trip I would not have done this tour as I would have been even more scared.

Our tour guide, Sebastian, was a very informative guide and took great care of us and made sure we were safe at all times however our bikes were really lacking...bad brakes, seats that wouldn't stay in place and tilted in a bad way, my husband's bike had no rear brakes. We have been on many ebike tours with spectacular equipment but this was not the case today. This fleet of bikes need replaced or seriously repaired. One guy's bike was so rickety and noisy...

Sebastian is an excellent guide. Unfortunately the bikes are not in great working order. The tour covers many of the highlights of Mazatlan.
Scott_F, Nov 2025
This is a great tour to take. If you want to know more about the city. It does require a little bit of work to ride the e-bike. Not recommend for people who are out of shape. Very interesting and you get to see a lot of the parts of the old Mazatlan.

The actual experience was amazing, however, the seats on the bike were very uncomfortable. I would not recommend for the unfit, elderly or anyone not used to sitting on bike seats.

This is a good way to tour some of the city. Sebastian was our tour guide. On the tour, you see the lighthouse, from a distance, the “cliff” divers - remember to bring money for a tip, learn a little history about the area.
You get a quick tutorial on how to operate the e-bike and practice a little before hitting the road.

My wife and I took this tour and highly recommend it. The e-bikes were in great working condition and it was fun to tool around town on them. Our guide Sabastian was very knowledgeable and personable. We made many stops throughout so he could explain the history, culture, and highlights, of the town. It turns out that he not only grew up and lives in the town we toured, but he used to be a teacher as well. It showed!
I think that taking an e-bike tour is better than walking tours, because you can see so much more of the area. We will definitely look for more excursions like this one in other ports we explore in future cruises.

We arrived and was met by the tour. He set us up to do the tour with a guide. After talking with us he guided us to another tour that met our needs. Enrique was wonderful showing the sights and sharing. He had a great sense of humor that matched the groups. Many laughs along with him being sure we were seeing and doing our preferences. Thank you for the wonderful tour that made our stay exceptional.
Terry_P, Mar 2025
We had a great time biking around but one of the bikes was broken and made it hard to pedal for the person. We told them st the beginning the bike was broken and supposedly there no other bikes available. We had the 1st tour and we only needed 4 bikes total so that makes me wonder.
John_C, Mar 2025
It took me a little while to get used to it cuz I’m 83, but a short while later we were on our way enjoying the sites. The guide was excellent.
Lou_N, Mar 2025
It was a lot of fun to see the city by ebike. Our guide, Sebastian, was a nice guy with lots of information. Would have liked to see more ocean. Bike lanes are confusing.
Jason_N, Feb 2025
The bikes were excellent, tour guide was phenomenal, great experience. I’m a big boy and the bike handled my weight just fine. It was a fantastic tour to learn and enjoy the town.
MARKR_S, Feb 2025
Sebastian was a great guide. Found out there were divers even though pool was very low and took.us back to.see them

It was a great introduction to the OLD TOWN, which is beautiful and well-maintained. The guide, Rene, was excellent. We love guides that have love and pride in their town, and Rene really did. He was knowledgeable about so much Mazatl culture and history. Thank you!

One of our FAVORITE excursions during our time off the cruise ship. I booked it personally, not through the cruise. Great way to see the city! Both athletic and relaxing at the same time. Saw part of the boardwalk, the cliff jumpers, and old town which was SO cool...like little European village meets Mexican flair. Being on the bike really made you feel like part of the city. Sebastian was AMAZING. Great guide, kept watch on e everyone in the traffic and told us all about the city and even stories from his life related to the area.
Christine_D, Jan 2025
Bikes were in horrible shape. Rusted out parts. Don't shift. Assist didn't work, only throttle. Batteries died. Helmets don't get cleaned between riders. Lots of standing around wasting time because the bikes are broken, people needed help, etc. I would not recommend.
Maranda_M, Dec 2024
This tour was a great way to see the city in an active way. It took a few minutes to get used to the e-bike since I hadn’t used one but after a few minutes, it became comfortable. The overall experience was pleasant although we had a few delays due to the other travelers in our group. Regardless, I would recommend this tour to those who want to see the city of Mazatlán and get some exercise at the same time.
Beverly_S, Dec 2024
The guide was great. We saw lots of the city and area and learned lots. It was a really fun couple hours
Tracy_F, Nov 2024
Awesome way to see the city. Our guide Sebastian was very informative. Very hot day but riding the e-bikes made it comfortable.
Donna_R, Nov 2024
Lots of valuable information to enhance your visit to Mazatlan. Learn the layout of the city and lots of history. Tips for visitors from Sebastian, the guide.
Dale_A, Nov 2024
The bikes were powerful enough so that you don't need to pedal if you didn't want to, even up the hills. It was an easy way to see the city and the coast. Our guide took us to popular sites, statues, and provided good background and history along the way. My one gripe was that the instructions on where to meet up for the bike tour weren't detailed enough. There were no clear signs at the port entrance and the Viator map location was not specific enough. The directions should state to meet at the Mazatlan Van Tours inside the building before reaching the parking lot.
Phillip_S, Oct 2024
Awesome tour guide and saw parts of Mazatlan that I had never seen in over 10 visits to the city, plus those electric bikes are amazing, we now want to purchase some.
Maurrio, Sep 2024
Horrible from start to finish. The e-bikes weren't charged. There weren't enough bikes for our group so 1 person couldn't participate. Did not give a refund. Just offered a soda. Some of the bikes weren't checked so we had to wait for them to bring more bikes that were semi-charged. We received a hot bottle of water but no where on the bike to put it. Tour guide was awesome. He kept apologizing saying he has not responsibility for the bikes. 30 mins towards the end of the ride 3 bikes died and we had to peddle from 30 mins away from end in 106 degree heat. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Would never recommend this to anyone.
ALEX_D, Jul 2024
Our guide was Sebastian. He was great. Very knowledgeable and even extended our tour for no extra charge! This is great way to see the area. Beats using a taxi or tour van due to heavy traffic. These bikes are ridden on sidewalks and bike ways. So it avoids traffic! Bikes easy to use. You don't have to pedal. They are small and somewhat uncomfortable but they are quick. You are required to wear helmet and a vest. Many stops along the way to take photos. It was fun. And very inexpensive.
