Ouzoud Waterfalls

We went on a 3 hours journey to this beautiful Waterfall, well worth the visit Youngest looked after us very well he gave 101% of his time. I would highly recommend booking this day trip, I booked it with Viator and I think it's much cheaper then TripAdvisor.

Communication beforehand was really good. We were collected from our riad and walked a short distance to get picked up by small minibus. There were a few stops to let people join us then we drove nearly 2 hours and had a 20min stop before continuing the journey another 1 and a half hours to the top of the falls. We were met by our guide Young’s akouray ghandi who spent the day with us. We walked down to the bottom stopping at the olive groves and seeing how the oil is extracted from the olives. It’s a steep long walk down however there are stops etc along the way as well as plenty photo stops. At the bottom we got a short boat ride out the the foot of the waterfalls and dropped at the other side before heading up the other side a short way to stop for lunch. We had a lovely meal facing the waterfalls and had time to relax and enjoy the views.we then headed back up to the top via the stairs approx 500 of them but again plenty of stops along the way. Views were all stunning and it was well worth the trek down and back. Watch out for the monkeys and there are lots of cats around. Tips Lunch was a set menu and around 560 dhriams for 4 of us but the food was lovely. The monkeys like to jump on you but don’t harm you. Remember tips for guides and boat guy etc. The walk there and back is tough but 100% worth it. Views are stunning.
