Unforgettable Experience thanks to our Tour Guide!

After our tour with another company was canceled, my boyfriend and I booked last minute with Wild Sahara Tours and our guide, Ibrahim. Initially stressed due to the last minute change, we are grateful that it landed us with Ibrahim - our trip with him was nothing short of incredible. The day before the tour, we received his phone number to which he was accessible the entirety of the trip, even when we were without him. He is an extremely knowledgeable driver who was able to travel through the Sahara an in-season sandstorm, even though the sand completely changed the trajectory of the route and made it difficult to see. He took us through multiple small villages that we would not have seen otherwise, and arranged us with local tour guides, as well as tea with a local Nomad family in the desert. He is a friendly and thoughtful storyteller if you enjoy asking questions and conversing, but also creates a comfortable drive for those who are not so talkative. He also emphasized that Erg Chigaga, the tour that we booked, is a more authentic experience, to which we can attest. You are truly in a remote location, surrounded by sand dunes and that’s all. Even after the sandstorm, we were able to see the night sky full of stars and the Milky Way. That was after Ibrahim played traditional Moroccan music for us. We truly enjoyed our time with Ibrahim - it was an unforgettable experience and I can safely say that we would not have had it without him as our guide. We grateful that we booked with him and the company. Would recommend 100 times!
