Not a great tour

Pick up at cruise was outside the port while other tours were right by ship. AC was not turned on in van and we asked several times. No information was shared during the drive. Ticket said free admission so it was assumed we could enter lighthouse and caves. They did not take euros or dollars so we did not get to go in either.

City tours depart from a designated meeting point outside the cruise port, which is different from the pick-up arrangements offered for shore excursions organized directly through the cruise line. We’ll also follow up with our team regarding the air conditioning and communication during the drive to ensure improvements. As for the attractions, entrance fees are not included in the city tour option, and payment must be made locally in the accepted currency. Our tour guide was amazing. Was one of the best tours I have ever taken. The guide actually spent about 8 hours with us even though the tour was only for four hours. He took us to a few stores but didn't make us feel obligated to buy. He was very knowledgeable about the city. Absolutely AMAZING!

Great city tour. Our guide was great - personable, good English, knowledgable, provided just the right amount of commentary, patient with our questions, did not rush us, and he adjusted the itinerary to accommodate what we had already seen and what we were interested in seeing. Would recommend this tour, though so much is dependant on the guide, and its just the luck of the draw who you get. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name but have included a photo with him and a bird on his head at the Tangier Synagogue.

A good tour. We visited all the areas promised with plenty of time for each. The guide was very good and spoke excellent English. The start was a little disorganized though and took an extra 45 minutes to get the tour members together because the bus that took us was not well marked the tour description said we would be taking a minivan so we were not looking for a large bus and many people passed it as we disembarked from the ship and walked well past it to the port entrance, having to ask around and walk back. The bus was marked with a white Easy Transfers sign in the window, but it was not clear from the voucher that we should look for a vehicle with that marking. The voucher did say the tour operator was Easy Transfers, but there should have been a clearer statement that we were to look for a vehicle with that name, not Viator. Plus, people near the buses erroneously directed us to walk to the port entrance.

Excellent walking tour for the first three hours through the medina followed by an excellent two hour tour of the city of Tanger. Our guide was so professional, very knowledgeable, and excited about his city. He would have even continued more, except we got tired after 5 hours! We highly recommend this tour!
