Recomiendo llevar dinero en efectivo para los souvenirs y las comidas. Los sitios son impresionantes y todos fueron muy agradables, comprensibles y amigables, incluyendo el conductor (Mohamed Ben Haddou) y a otros guias como Bissî Möhã Tin Ghir y los amazigh (muchísimo) del Ksar Air Ben Hadu y Merzouga (como Zaid Ougnir), que tambien ayudan a mantener el desierto limpio y viven en harmonia con la naturaleza. Vayais solos, o con excursión recomiendo apoyar los negocios y tribus etnicas locales dado que son quienes mejor cuidan del ecosistema.
