LLouie was an excellent tour guide that made the trip that much better.
Be prepared to hike for 30-40 minutes to the cave and then a long swim in open water (about 2 football fields) to get to the cave.
Once inside it was gorgeous and a great experience.

We had a wonderful adventure with AV caving. Vanessa and Antonio are clearly passionate about caving and love to share about the history and geology (and mysteries!) of the caves. The day we went the surf was too rough to jump off the cliff and swim to the big cave. No matter, they had a back up plan, another 25 min walk passing a beautiful natural bridge and ending at a secluded beach. (Wear sturdy shoes! You are walking over sharp limestone rocks)The cave entrance was a tight shimmy which ended in a clear underground lake in which we swam and floated. Then climbed around the cave to learn about the features. A bit of time to swim at the beach(wetsuits were appreciated!) and a scenic walk back. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

This tour was amazing. Once in a lifetime! We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers). AVcaving was easy to work with and was responsive to my questions in preparation to the tour. Vanessa and Antonio were awesome! They provided so much information about the caves. We did the tour in February. The water was not too cold. It is an easy walk and swim to the caves. Words do not describe the beauty of the caves. It felt as though we were in a movie. The family voted this as the best activity for the entire vacation! Memories for a lifetime.

It started punctually at the agreed meeting point with a 30 minute hike over hill and dale (flipflops are only recommended for professionals). Once at the cliff, we had the choice between a jump from about 3m high or the longer way swimming through the quite strong surf. The part of the group that decided to go by sea unfortunately did not make it far enough out of the bay to reach the cave and therefore explored the Plan B cave with the second guide. We, who preferred to jump, arrived after a few minutes swimming n the cave. Because of the strong surf and the high water level it was a bit adventurous to get in, as you had to dive in through an opening (hold your breath for a moment and the guide will push you through).
Inside there is a completely different atmosphere, it is really a beautiful cave with 4 small lakes, which you have to swim partly through. Crystal clear water, breathtaking stone structures. Our guide Vanessa has and left plenty of time to admire everything exactly and explained a lot. I hope that the photos she took can somehow reflect the experience, unfortunately we could not take any pictures ourselves... eventually it went the same way out of the cave and this time the surf agar has to wash us back into the bay. An all-round great experience, perhaps not quite suitable for everyone - at least not in slightly rougher conditions. But for those who are reasonably fit are a clear recommendation.
