Great way to see (and swim in!) a sea cave, sea kayak, and jump off a cliff into the ocean all in one excursion - our group was very large which made it last longer than anticipated, but it was worth every penny and helped make our visit to Mallorca memorable.

Perfect day for 5 friends and 7 kids

Kathryn_A, Aug 2026
A friendly and energetic staff guided us through a survey of coastal activities: ocean cave, kayak race, bluff jumping, and snorkeling. It captivated our crowd of 12, ranging in age from 11-53. Something for every kind and ability, with opportunities for bravery and novelty. Would definitely recommend!

Do It!

Hell yeah, solid 5-star experience. Did this as a solo traveler and it was an easy yes. Geo was a great guide - high energy, kept the vibes high! The sea caves were insane, water was crystal clear, and the cliff jumps hit just right. Kayaking and snorkeling were a nice bonus. Would do it again without thinking twice.

Beautiful location for lots of fun activities

MaryPat_S, Aug 2026
A little bit of friendly competition was so much fun. We enjoyed kayaking, caving, cliff jumping, and snorkeling. The Challenge staff were energetic and fun. Would definitely recommend to friends!

Good energy!

We had a very nice time. Super enthusiastic with good energy staff and very helpful in every step that we make. Thank you guys voor this experience 🙏

Good for Families

Sonal_P, Aug 2026
This is a great experience for families, but not so much solo travellers. I booked this as I have really enjoyed kayaking trips previously, however there wasn't so much kayaking and it was more other things - this is great to engage children but didn't fulfil what I booked for. We went through some sea caves which was nice, we got given snorkels but it wasn't really to see fish or the standard snorkeling purpose. They pack a lot of elements in, and a lot of people, which meant things like the snorkeling were rushed and overcrowded. The guides were great, so fun and engaging and definitely made for that role. Ludi was really informative and funny. As a solo, I was given a 3-4 person kayak, which made it so much harder than a standard sit in, single kayak. So if you are not a kayaker and going solo, this is not for you. The picnic/few snacks at the end was a nice touch. Having pick up points also is a great addition, as it's quite remote.

I went to this adventure with my husband and two kids (11-14 years old) Firts, the guides were awesome! Making some jokes all the time ! The cave part was by far my favorite! The cliff jumping also was a lot of fun. I enjoyed less the kayaking part because of the currents that were strong . It was more a snack at the end than a picnic but the sangria was good!

Not an accurate description of the tour - great for little kids but that is all

Melissa_Q, Aug 2026
The actual tour does not live up to the description. There is an inordinate amount of time just standing around listening to instructions. The hike really is not a hike but gives them a reason to say you "hiked", rather you could just meet at the location where all the activities take place, which is just one location. The cave is the best part but again a lot of standing around to get in. The kayaking is laughable, you aren't going anywhere but in a circle. The jump from a "cliff" is merely a rock and the snorkeling is subpar, in one small area where there is very little to see because it is not an ideal location for snorkeling. The gear they give you is not in good shape and appears dirty. My life jacket kept unzipping and rising above my head because it was broken, yet they insist you wear it (they are not wearing any of the gear) Lastly the pictures feel very forced, they tell you how to pose. It feels like they are just trying to get content. I would have left one star but the staff are very kind, working hard and just doing their jobs. If you have young kids this will be the experience for you. If you are over 8 years old and like even a modicum of adventure, I would avoid it, it's simply not worth the money.

ValerieKeiYu_S, Aug 2026
As someone who isn't the most confident swimmer, I was a little nervous heading out onto the water, but this tour completely exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, I felt extremely safe, supported, and comfortable exploring Mallorca's beautiful coastline with my friends. A huge shoutout to the guides-they were absolutely hilarious, kept the energy high, and ensured everyone was having a great time. Their humor and professionalism made the whole experience unforgettable. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Darcy_S, Jul 2026
The challenge itself was a lot of fun! The guides were super helpful and nice. The cave was a little scary entering - but was so neat once you got inside! My son loved the snorkeling and I have to say that the mask for a rental was surprisingly good! It didn't fog up at all! I would caution those coming from the Cruise ship port. It is a drive and finding taxi's in Mallorca is a bit difficult. If you are getting transportation yourself to and from the meeting point, I would suggest that you have it scheduled a head of time. That part was a bit stressful trying to figure out so that we could make it back to our cruise ship on time!

Be careful when booking if you’re not familiar with the area

Jessica_W, Jul 2026
I booked this tour for our Mallorca trip and was very excited. However upon arrival to our hotel I sent the information over and was informed that we could not be picked up even tho the pick up said included. I was unaware an uber would cost $400 round trip. A taxi quoted $325. Rental car was not an option. And the bus times did not line up. I was in communication all day the tour operator trying to figure out an option. We were not able to Come up with a solution. I requested a refund and was refused. Had a refund been issued I would not have needed to share with other potential bookers. Please be cautious when booking if this is your first time to the area !!

More for non-active/non-adrenaline junkie families/travellers

Stacy_D, Jul 2026
- Expected to kayak to different locations, see multiple caves, jump from multiple cliffs, trek more but it wasn’t the case. - Reality, split into 2 groups for a 5-10 minute walk to the caves, 10-15 minutes in a cave (majority of the time waiting for everyone to crawl in), jumped off 1 “cliff” (4m high), kayaking was a down and back (15-200m) (5-10 minutes), and then snorkeling for 15 min and then a 5-10 min walk back to the starting/meeting area for snacks. - more of a family activity and not for the adrenaline junkies. - recommend bringing waterproof pouch for phone if you want to take pictures otherwise you’ll have it locked in a van with yours and everyone else’s belongings - Guides were enthusiastic tho!

Must do adventure!

Aaron_W, Jul 2026
Went on June 12th at 12:00pm and had such an awesome adventure, the guides are really helpful at any level of experience. Highly recomend!

Fantastic time

Lauren_B, Jul 2026
Great excursion! The guides were amazing and everyone had fun! I would highly recommend this experience.

Great adventure

Phil_C, Jul 2026
Great experience, guides were fantastic and made you feel comfortable through the various challenges. Is a bit strenuous so be prepared to walk, climb on rocks, and get on a kayak in open water… but again guides were fantastic. Highly recommend.

Fun but not for the faint of heart!

Monika_L, Jul 2026
Very cool tour but you should definitely have at least moderate physical fitness for this. Guides were great and very helpful which was absolutely necessary for the conditions. This is not just hiking etc, youll be pulling yourself up into a kayak in the open water.

Loved it!

Jessica_H, Jun 2026
This tour provides a little taste of everything, but not too overwhelming. The guides were very knowledgeable and made the entire experience so much fun. Would definitely recommend!!!

Great guides, unique location...needs work

Sarah_S, Jun 2026
The location is stunning, and the tour guides were phenomenal. Unfortunately, the experience didn't match the description in the Viator app. The overall flow felt disjointed and inefficient. The tour began with nearly an hour of preparation and standing around on land, which was unexpected and frustrating. Once we got moving, we had to hike over rocky terrain to the launch point. With a group of more than 40 people spanning a wide range of ages and abilities, this process took a long time. Each activity itself was very short, while most of the experience was spent moving between stations and waiting for others. The "challenge" concept has potential, but the target audience is unclear. The treasure hunt format suggests it's designed for children, yet the prize was a beer. The concept needs more cohesion. Overall, the setting is incredible and the staff are excellent, but the experience would benefit from a significant redesign to better match expectations and improve the overall quality.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. We would just like to clarify one point from your review. The tour does not operate with 40 people as a single group. Participants are divided into two separate groups of around 20 people, each with its own guides and activity flow. Regarding the treasure hunt, it is not designed specifically for children. The Challenge Mallorca is created for families, couples and groups of friends looking for a fun and interactive adventure together. We truly appreciate your comments and are pleased to hear you enjoyed the stunning location and found our staff to be phenomenal. We will take your feedback into account as we continue improving the experience.

Awesome experience

Nic_P, Jun 2026
As four 25 year old guys, we had a great time. I would recommended this to everyone. The guides were amazing and truly made the experience better.

Challenge Accepted

Grasshopper212, Jun 2026
It is somewhat challenging, so be prepared for climbing rocks, hills, lots of water time and the ability to get into a kayak from the water. The guides were wonderful, energetic and so helpful in making it a great experience.

Great experience

Courtney_M, Jun 2026
My 11 year old son loved everything about this tour and was ready to move to Mallorca and repeat it everyday. The tour guides were very friendly and made it a great experience. Be prepared to hike in water shoes on uneven terrain.

It was really a fun experience. Well organized, very funny guides and it stayed perfectly in the time frame of 3 hours with the picnic at the end. The group was also great from all over the world. Thanks for the great adventure to the happiness providers

The Challenge Mallorca...

paola_c, May 2026
The Challenge Mallorca tour was a fun experience overall, especially if you are looking for a more relaxed outdoor activity day. The guides were really nice, attentive, and did a good job hyping everyone up and making the group feel comfortable and included. The tour included kayaking, snorkeling, cave exploring, and cliff jumping. The cave portion was probably the highlight for us and definitely the most memorable part of the experience. The kayaking itself was pretty short, and the snorkeling spot did not have much to see underwater, but it was still enjoyable being out on the water with the scenery around Mallorca. My husband felt that the cliff jumping was a little underwhelming and expected something more adventurous. Overall, we personally felt the tour leaned more toward beginner-friendly or family-friendly activities rather than something very thrilling for adults. Because of that, it felt a little on the expensive side for what was included. That being said, I think this would actually be a really good experience for families or kids around 8 years old and above. The guides created a fun environment, the views were beautiful, and it was still a nice way to spend part of the day outdoors in Mallorca.

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you for your detailed review 😊 We’re glad you enjoyed the guides, the cave, the views and the atmosphere at The Challenge Mallorca.

A whirlwind of experiences in one day

Craig_M, Jul 2024
Taking my kids on an experience they had never tried before including kayaking, snorkelling, and cliff jumping. One was a non-swimming teen but we managed ok and the staff were awesome. Was a great day, would have liked it to have gone on for a bit longer though. From being picked up in Land Rover Defenders from the hotel you could tell the experience was going to be raw.

So fun!

Cindy_W, May 2024
We had a great time on The Challenge. The guides made it funny and enjoyable. Everything worked perfectly. We were with about 20 people and we were the only 2 that spoke English. The guides were very good to accommodate us.

Very fun adventure.

Kellen_F, Oct 2023
The guides were excellent! It was very cool to see the underwater caves and I loved the kayaking as well.
