Nice Tours is not a nice tour company. They advertised the first flight and we ended up on the third flight when sunrise was over. This is normally a $50 flight but they charged the $80 price and mislead you to thinking it was the first flight. I specifically paid extra for the first flight as it literally said “first flight”. Rather than flying in the balloon, they had us all pose for advertising photos for the company as the first flight was taking off behind us. When we told them we don’t want our photos taken and used for advertising, they then told us we can’t use our cameras on the ground “because the airport said so” and made me hide my camera in my jacket until we left the launch area. The flight and the pilot were great but the organization was terrible. The transportation also was bad, I was left in a vehicle by myself for an hour the had to transfer to 3 other vehicles.

We specifically paid for the first balloon at sunrise, which is the whole reason we booked this trip. Instead, we were only taken on the third flight of the morning after being left waiting for over an hour with no clear information and very poor organization.
The transportation we were promised was not what we paid for, and the entire experience was stressful rather than enjoyable. By the time we finally flew, the sunrise was already gone – the main highlight we came for.
This was not the service advertised or sold to us, and it certainly was not worth the money. I am formally requesting a full refund due to the failure to deliver what was purchased. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The balloon flight itself was absolutely wonderful — the views were stunning and the experience unforgettable.
However, the organization was extremely disappointing. We were told that pickup would be at 3:15 a.m., but the driver didn’t arrive until 5:30 a.m., without any message or explanation.
After the flight, things got even worse. Instead of taking us back to our hotel as promised, they dropped us off in a remote village and told us to find and pay for our own taxi. This was completely unacceptable, especially since round-trip transfer was included in the price, and we were assured there would be no problem.
It’s a real shame that such poor organization and lack of responsibility spoiled an otherwise amazing experience.

They ruined my day. I booked it taking it as the first fly. But actually after arriving the place, the guide made me wait for the THIRD fly and when the third fly was preparing the balloon, it was cancelled. I had to go back with my time wasted and my mood ruined.
For everyone who sees this, don’t trust it will be first fly though it charge the price of first fly. I learned that never trusted what Egyptians said from today’s experience. And if you want to book Hot Air Balloon, better to book it in the Hot Air Balloon company’s website. Many people here are not reliable.

Here it writes the pick up time is 3:15. But last night at 10:30pm they told me the pick up is 5am. In many other companies, 5am is already the time of SECOND fly. The operator told me“No worries you won’t miss the sunrise” ok I accept. Then they waste me 1 hour and 17minutes waiting in the parking lot. The operator kept telling me “not to worry, the time is okay, you won’t miss the sunrise” , I believed.
I’m the first people getting in their car. However, all the other people in the same car with me went to the balloon place with just leaving me alone in the car waiting in the parking lot. At 6:17, the car finally moved to the balloon place. Sunrise already started at that time. They arranged me in the last group and didn’t tell me. The guide just kept us wait and wait and wait. He speak little English and was hard to communicate while on the page it shows the tour language is English.
Waiting until 7:20, almost all the other people were in balloon in the sky, our group was told the fly cancelled. In my return, I met some persons whose balloon was cancelled said they booked the second fly and came, not waiting too much time before the cancellation and the price is much cheaper.
I don’t understand why I paid $60 for FIRST fly but I need to wait 2hrs and 30 minutes and was arranged to 3rd fly. It’s totally a lie.
I can accept if you said to me last night the tour is cancelled because there’s no place for first fly. Or tell me I will be arranged to last groups to fly late. Ok then I’d like to have enough sleep. From my balcony I can also have a panoramic view of sunset and flying balloons. I can also accept you write here the pick up time is 5am and I’ll know it will be 2nd fly time and I won’t book it. I gave up many choices at 4/4:30am at the price $45-55 and chose this earliest one to guarantee it must be the First fly. Also I double confirmed with the operator it would be first fly. But see how things happen🤷you see other people getting in car later than you, then they went to balloon first and flied, you wait wait wait wait and finally be cancelled.

It was absolutely fantastic. The transfer showed up on time, then we got into a boat where they offered coffee or tea and a little cake while we crossed the Nile river. After that we got into another van and went to the takeoff site. It's absolutely amazing seeing the whole process of filling up all the balloons. The flight was absolutely amazing and really smooth, both on takeoff and the landing. The capitan Mo was amazing, and give us insights about what we were seeing, and was always rotating the balloon to ensure that everyone was able to see and take photos properly.
I can't recommend enough this experience!

I had such a wonderful tour with Mohamed Awad, he is such a smart man. He really knows his history, he explains things so smooth and effortless.
Communication was on point, he messaged me the night before giving me clear instructions and where he would meet me. He offered to start early if I would like. I was picked up promptly from my hotel lobby in a nice clean air conditioned vehicle. We stopped for water, at the time Mohamed went over our day. He offered to allow me to customize our stops (great option to include). We set the itinerary and got our day started. He explained key details at each of our stops and didn’t mind repeating himself for things I didn’t catch on to right away. He took pictures for me as this was a private tour and I am traveling solo. He always offered me free time but I felt he was so thorough I really didn’t need it. I told him I was hungry, he was fine with us stopping. We stopped by this restaurant that was really good, with great customer service. I truly enjoyed this tour and would recommend this to anyone. I am a solo female traveler and I felt save and in good hands. Mohamed exceeded my expectations.

My experience was very bad, in the app they said that we would be picked up in Hurghada and at the last minute on the day we were going to Hurghada I received a message saying that they would only pick us up in Luxor! we had no way to go to Luxor anymore. They are just cheating customers! I hope they give me my money back in full

Pure magic! Super cool to see the whole process. The only thing is when you get there, early morning, bunch of kids trying to sell you stuff…. That’s alright, but 1 kid came along with a bird, super pushy, putting the bird in you, taking picture and DEMANDING $$… be aware of the little hustlers!

This was a terrific experience beginning to end. Communication was timely and efficient, even though my WhatsAp wasn’t working. We were picked up from the reception area of our cruise ship right on time. Transportation was good. The balloon flight itself was very excising and the whole process fascinating. They’ll try to sell you their photos and video but are not pushy about it. Please have a little money to tip the hard-working ground crew. After the flight, we were brought safely back to our ship right on time. We highly recommend this experience.

It was a beautiful experience. Everything was n schedule. My niece and I really enjoyed it. Not thing that was upsetting was the operator had a team of people take our pictures and videos and asked us if we wanted to see our photos and videos for $15. We paid but we never got the finished product. They asked for our WhatsApp info, we reached out but never got a reply. Was it a scam?

Excellent pilot and crew made the experience memorable. This was my 6th balloon ride around the world, each is memorable, and what makes them special is the expertise of the pilot and ground crew to make you feel comfortable to just absorb the experience and views!

I have taken several balloon rides in the past but this was the best one yet. Being able to witness the whole process from inflation of the balloon to breaking it down at the end was fabulous. The view of the surrounding area and all of the other balloons around us was amazing. The beautiful sunrise during the trip was just icing on the cake. I would strongly recommend this adventure to anyone.

I very rarely leave positive reviews, but this experience was so good I rent I had to. There was a cheaper experience (I think around £29pp) and a more expensive one (around £60pp), we went down the middle at £38pp. From the collection at our hotel until we were dropped off again, the organisation and experience were exceptional. If you’re thinking about paying for the more expensive experience, don’t waste your money, you won’t get anything better, you’ll just pay more.

The pickup was very smooth and we enjoyed the sunrise very much.
The pilot was very informative and our ride was very smooth.
We also accompanied them for breakfast and that was a very refreshing one.

Absolutely loved the entire experience! We moved fast from the hotels to a boat crossing the Nile to the other bank then into a minivan. In my case, we didn't have to wait too long for the convoy to move, please note this is beyond their control since all companies need to move together to hot air balloon location. Once we could start driving it was a race to get there and our group's balloon was one of the first to go up, which is fantastic because you can enjoy stunning views of before and during sunrise. Big thank you to the many staff members involved to make this happen!

The balloon ride was fantastic, offering stunning views at sunrise. The staff, especially Marolla, were very friendly and accommodating. After the ride, we joined the "free" breakfast... At 8am, we were treated to three traditional dance shows with extremely loud music. Unfortunately, there was a man who pressured us to immediately write a positive review of the tour. He got very close and demanded to see proof of my review, taking my phone from me when I struggled to log into TripAdvisor. He accused me of lying when I said that I wrote my review. This behavior is unacceptable. Customers who pay good money should be treated with respect. I don't mind paying more for tourist activities and tipping, but this kind of pushy behavior leaves a negative impression, no matter how enjoyable the tour itself was. No matter how much you tip it’s never enough. This is honest feedback from someone who has been on many tours – please be considerate to your customers and avoid being overly aggressive. This is the common pattern in Egypt but that doesn’t mean that everyone should behave this way. I promise you that people will be much more positive about the experience once you stop demanding endless tips and forced reviews (which are easy to spot).

Yes, the overall view and experience is absolutely immaculate and completely worth it if you have the time in Luxor! The ballon ride was great, the staff were polite and our pilot was excellent. However our balloon was the last one to leave which was disappointing as we had paid the extra fee for the first sunrise flight. Our ballon for some reason wasn’t the slightest bit pumped and was deflated upon arrival. The pick up was quite early, we waited for 1 hour and 15 mins in a car before even getting the okay to move.

The flight is fantastic and I would give 9 stars for it (not 10 as the landing was mediocre among high voltage wires and the only thing they do quickly is ask for/demand tips. Views are beautiful Highly recommended. Their logistics is a nightmare and I would give 0 stars for that. The pickup is around 4 am, then all the vans with all the people in them wait for an hour in one spot till 5:50 and then they race like crazy to balloon flight starting point. All companies do that so there is no option. On the first day my flight was cancelled because of bad weather, which I am glad, as safety first. The next day I wanted to show up at the place where the vans wait at 5:15 but that was too hard for them to process, so I had to get up at 4, was picked up at 4:30 we drove for 5 minuted to the meeting point and waited in a van for over an hour to start the race at 5:50.

The whole experience was well-planned. Great customer service from the lovely Marolla who got in touch with me the day before to confirm the details. Picked up on time and taken to a boat on the East Bank. There was tea and coffee and biscuits while we waited for around 20 mins.
We were picked up by a car on the West Bank and taken to the takeoff site. Since we were running a bit late for sunrise, the crew made sure to work fast so that we were up in the air to see the sunrise. The pilot made sure to give everyone a 360 degree view of the temples and rising sun. I cannot remember how long we were in the air for because I was too busy enjoying the sights.
After the balloon landed smoothly, we were taken back to our original location. Marolla kindly arranged for me to be dropped off at Karnak temple instead of my hotel at no extra charge.
Just be aware that you are not allowed any items including a professional camera. You can only take photos with your phone for safety reasons. A couple in my group seemed pretty upset that they could not take their camera.
Would totally recommend this to anyone visiting Luxor.

Great Experience! The tour was seamlessly managed.
The pick up was through a comfortable private car which took us to the port to cross the Nile. The boat was ready and waiting with some much needed coffee and we quickly reached the West Coast. Them we hopped on a minivan. Here, because of police rules, we had to wait for the convoy to be ready but we were quite comfortable. After a slight delay, we rushed to the take off location. The guide somehow ensured that we were in the first balloon up. We saw the sun rise over the Nile and the ancient Luxor monuments. We were in the air for around 40 minutes which was as promised.
The company also invited us for a small breakfast later but we couldn't join as we had another plan soon after.
All in all, superb organization with the private car, boat and balloon, great hospitality for a wonderful experience - all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
