Amazing experiences but transports

We had to rate this experience lower unlike all others we did with Nice tours. This combo tour is amazing and we do recommend it. The hot air balloon was very professional and absokutely incredible experience. The views are stunning and you get to see the whole valley and the desert and many of the top sights in Luxor from bird eye view. The downside for us incredible complicated way the transfer to and from hot air balloon was handled. This probably goes more to the hot air balloon company but you have to leave your cruise or a hotel at 3:30 in the morning to be taken to water taxi, where you will wait 30-45 minutes and are subjected to sell of videos etc. Waiting for all boat taxis to be filled with people so they can depart all in one go. Then all people are herded into vans, some more confortable than others and people fighting and refusing to get in some. Accompanied by another 45 min wait in the van because of traffic and the whole logistics was just mindblowing (in negative sense). We had to change the van 4 times. Given you are 4 kms from the hot air balloon launch site if you are staying on East bank of Luxor, we travelled by a car, water taxi and five different vans. This whole set up taking 2 hours. At the end of this unique transport we were not even able to pop to a toilet before the hot air balloon flight. If we were taken directly to the hot air balloon launch site, it would be 30 minutes in a car over the bridge and 1 hour 30 minutes longer sleep. Some people at the boat knew this and organised their transport separately. I would next time. When we finished we were taken to Colossi of Memnon where we then had to wait 1 hour and half until our guide picked us up to start with Valley of the kings. Apparently a hick up in communication. The guide was knowledgeable but note they do not go inside any of the tombs with you, which is a bit disappointing as that is where the guide would be the most useful. Neither they did inside the Hatshepsut temple, but they did show us around Karnak temple. Because we had to leave Luxor at 1 pm, our trip had to be short and we had to cut on Luxor temple and felucca ride. Our guide sorted lunch for us to have a take away which was appreciated. The car was really good and comfortable but not for 5 people (we were three tall adults squashed at the back, while the guide and the driver sat in the front) We do recommend this trip, it's a great value and great all arounder tour of Luxor. But be aware logistics in Egypt are sometimes unnecessarily complicated. Maybe they will improve this part in the future.

Très bon format pour pouvoir découvrir les temples et monuments de luxor. Le guide est top et la succession de chaque activité très fluide. Néanmoins, le titre est trompeur ce n’est pas une balade en felouque (bateau à voile typique égyptien) mais une simple balade en bateau à moteur, c’est dommage…

L’organisation montgolfière moyenne, en revanche le guide Ahmed Bahaa excellent, explication claire et laisse du temps libre pour se promener. Dommage que les entrées dés site ne soient pas incluse car le prix de l’excursion reste élevée
