A great guided tour and driver and terrible lunch

From the moment I was picked up until the last moment Abdul Wahab ( the guide ) and the driver made the experience welcoming, informative and great. The knowledge and insights were amazing. The lunch was disappointing to say the least. For that reason this review gets 3 out of the 5 stars it would otherwise deserve. I felt like a king being chauffeured in a beautifully clean airconditioned Jeep and was handed cold drinks within moments of sitting down. All tickets where covered by the fee and through each of the three locations Abdul Wahab gave great insights into the Ancient sights brought to life before my very eyes with great enthusiasm and a great use of the English language. After the first two experiences it was lunch time and I have to say the Restrraunt treated me more like a cattle than a man. I’d asked for a pomegranate juice but it never came and the coffee that came I couldn’t drink it as granules filled my mouth after the first two sips. I wasn’t handed a menu just told chicken beef fish or veg. The bread was the one nice thing and I ate the chicken because I was starving. I was told I’d have to pay for the drink which was 80 Egyptian and was never offered the change from 100. This poor service and nearly enable food was the opposite to the great experience I otherwise had from the scholarly guide & driver.

You booked a historical tour and, as you mentioned, received an excellent and knowledgeable guide, along with a clean, comfortable air-conditioned SUV, despite being a solo traveler. This reflects our commitment to providing service beyond expectations. Regarding lunch, we understand that food preferences differ, and it would have been sufficient to mention this point without lowering the overall rating of an otherwise high-quality experience.
