Great walking tour

Could have been amazing, but

The tour guide Dave was amazing and his local knowledge exceptional…a really gentleman. The only problem is it was supposed to be a behind the scene cheese tasting tour as well as a tour of Lucerne. When we got to the cheese shop, the owner said he didn’t do the tour anymore. So I bought 2 slices of cheese and that was it!!!” No big deal, but when I called for a partial refund, never got an answer. Very disappointing. The town tour itself was well done.

Dear Michael, thank you very much for your review. We are happy you had a great time with Dave. It is true we had a bit of miscommunication with the place where we usually go for the Cheese Tasting and we apologise for that. However, Dave, promptly offered to buy some Cheese from the shop and go somewhere else to do the tasting. Here is what Dave mentioned: "So we bought some Alpkäse and Bergkäse, which Michael insisted on paying for and we went to the Matthäuskirche Platz where there was a drinks stand and seating and I bought them Älplerkaffee and we tasted cheese." Aslo we apologise for the delay in our response but Christmas Holidays are the busiest time of the year for us, so we appreciate your understanding. We are definitely going to partially refund your tour via Viator and we look forward to welcoming you again with us in Switzerland.
