Pros: Very friendly service, and plenty of good food Cons: The experience was just like going to a restaurant for dinner, so there was no point in booking this 'Salento Food Tasting Experience'. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and seated as usual, and then served food so there was no additional info or anything we learned about the food. The description stated inclusions of ' Dinner Hands-on bruschetta making experience with fresh ingredients. Alcoholic Beverages: One glass of local wine included. Homemade dessert prepared following local tradition. Selection of local appetizers including pittule, croquettes and meatballs' We received pittule and pizza, extra bread, 1 salad and 1 tiramisu' in addition to the alcoholic beverage of choice. There was no offer of making bruschetta at all. Also, no meatballs were served, so the dinner was good but carb-heavy. They did accommodate our request for a salad which was very nice. If we had just visited this restaurant for the same 3-course dinner & alcoholic beverage, we'd have paid half of what we actually paid which was $90 for 2 adults. So overall, food and service was very good, but the experience was just like going to a restaurant to enjoy a meal, not any different.
