Great tour, horrible customer service

David_G, Apr 2025
Great tour, friendly horses and very nice tour guide but we never received the pictures that our tour guide took of us. I had sent 13 emails requesting the pictures that were promised to us. I received one response with pictures that weren’t even of us. I emailed them again letting them know that it was the wrong couple but they never responded back. I am very disappointed that we haven’t received these photos to reflect back on.

Awesome easy ride....

Great experience!!!

Go to the restroom before you go!! Other than that great experience. Breakfast eggs were great too! Cool little set up for a great memory and fun time!

Terrible experience! Do the other horseback tour. NOT this one!

Amy_K, Oct 2024
This was such a disappointment. We did this trip 2 days ago and it was nothing like the "other" horseback with breakfast excursion that I did in May. This one had no shelter, no bathrooms, cold breakfast in styrofoam, we still had to walk a mile and a half (and back) for our "pick up", even though we stayed mid-strip. There was an option extra $60 to pick us up and drop us back after the trip, but we paid over $300 for two people already. Also, everything we were sent from Viator said the trip started at 10am, but the night before, we got a message to be at the Strat at 9am. Extremely disappointed in every part of this trip. The actual ride was in the desert, which was fine, but the other tour company took us through rocks and canyons and it was so much more interesting. Also, the other tour company had a home cooked meal made for us, coffee/hot chocolate, shelter, roping class, we could sit on a real bull, the people were so much more friendly, and we only had to walk 1 hotel over to get on the nice and clean shuttle bus. I do NOT recommend this company!

False advertisement

Tour guide was kind. Trail was not very entertaining, expected more in the mountains. Breakfast not very appealing, 1 bacon strip , 2 small pancakes, no maple syrup. Hash brown cold , 1 cold small sausage patty.

Such a beauty

Erik_R, Feb 2024
My wife and I really enjoyed the beauty of the nature n ride with our guide. Our horse ride was amazing.

Interesting experience, a little limited.

Millie_v, Dec 2023
The trip was good however the breakfast was extremely cold and unpleasant. The horses were beautiful and well trained. The scenery was beautiful but the trek was very limited, the horses only followed each other in a line very slowly. There was no room to explore and learn. The guide was very knowledgeable however seemed a little disinterested in the tour.

We booked the morning...

Julie_D, Dec 2022
We booked the morning horseback riding, which included breakfast. While we ate the guide got the horses ready. Our guide was great and very friendly. The view was beautiful. So glad we did this.

A good time

Kyeela_S, Dec 2022
Overall, it was a fun tour. The breakfast left much to be desired. It was about a 40 minute ride. Make sure you have someone take pictures on your own device. We didn’t receive any of the photos taken by the tour guide.

Response from Host, Dec 2022

Hi! Hi! The breakfast is a huge omelet, potatoe spuds and banana bread. Perhaps you have a large appetite as other clients typically cannot finish their meals 😂Photos were sent to your email. If you provided a wrong email perhaps that’s why you did not get them or check your spam folder. Contact us directly to correct this.

Thanks for a great time! ...

Jodi_Q, Jun 2022
Thanks for a great time! My kids, who had never been on a horse, have now decided they want to be cowboys. The setup felt safe and the views were beautiful.

Easy like Sunday morning.

Adrian_H, Nov 2021
The experience was great for first timers, the horses were very healthy and easy to ride. The staff was great and friendly. Breakfast was not very good but we were there for the ride.

Overall a great way to bring in my birthday

Tiara_M, May 2021
Honestly, sitting up on top a horse back is terrifying! But once my horse Ginger started to walk it was a very peaceful relaxing ride! My horse was so sweet. The instructor was awesome, you can tell she loves what she does and is good at it! The ONLY issue was the breakfast provided. Not an ideal breakfast to have sitting out before eating. It was not prepared well, no seasoning, & there was no allergy or dietary warnings. (I can’t have cheese) if breakfast was better I’d say give Grace and the whole experience 10 stars!! Maybe take a $20 bucks off for the food next time if it won’t be better. Other than that, I absolutely recommend this tour!

Great experience

Rosa_T, Apr 2021
Had a great experience riding the horses. Enjoyed learning how to control and walk the horse. Great experience....

Short Ride

Misty_G, Apr 2021
The horses were good and the tour guide was fine but the ride only lasted for 45 mins when the advertisment states the duration: 5 hours. Also it's extremely SLOW... More like a crawl than a Ride.

Response from Host, Apr 2021

Hi! So glad you enjoyed our well behaved horses and friendly guide :) Seems there’s a misunderstanding as our breakfast tour is not advertised anywhere as being 5 hours :) It is advertised on Viator as the tour time is approx 1.5 hour. Tour time includes a yummy breakfast, riding instruction by your knowledgeable guide and the ride on our awesome horses. Our guides take the same trail that is 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. The horses walk at a nice pace which is same pace for all trail companies In Nevada as by law we can only walk on trail rides. The horses definitely walk faster than a crawl as most of our horses are highly trained performance horses :)

NOT EVEN TRY

Ruth_G, Apr 2021
Do not even try! Before writing my experience, I reread "what to expect", because I thought I had a unique bad experience on the tour, but I realized that the information is misleading. To begin, do not think that you will arrive at a place where you will find horses and you will be able to meet them before riding them, the tour DOES NOT INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION (That is specified), but NO UBER or TAXI want to come to pick you up because it is in the middle of nowhere !!. in the middle of the desert !! We arrived 30 minutes before to avoid being late and missing the "wonderful" ride, however, the UBER left us and even that same driver did not want to return to pick us up, she was afraid even when we explained that we would do a horse ride, but not her. I blame, in that place there is not even a sign that says "HORSE BIKE RIDDING WAIT HERE", we called the tour operator and he told us that the horses would arrive later than we arrived very early (no chairs or shaded waiting place, or toilets or anything) ... a boy arrived with horses in a trailer, put 2 tables, 4 chairs in each one and took out bags with plates with breakfast, the "cowboy" did not sanitize the tables or chairs in front of us, the bottle of gel Sanitizer was totally dirty, from the photo of the tour, one thinks that breakfast will be made at the place in the "ranch" or something like that, but neither we nor the other 4 people on the tour wanted to, I think they were also disappointed in the "type of packaged breakfast ". We are horse lovers and it is a shame to see them so neglected, their hooves have not been cleaned and that hurts them a lot when walking like this! brushed, when caressing "TULA" "TIGER or TRIGER" and "TANK" their hair fell a lot, it's a shame they don't take care of such noble horses !! the "tour" was a tour of seeing how the "cowboy" texted and kept absolute silence, nothing like a tour where they explain the landscape or anything! And we did not forget to tip the guide, it just did not seem like a good tour and much less we thought that he had respect and care for the horses, the horses deserve more care !! The UBER driver who picked us up told us that "by mistake" he accepted the trip, and when he noticed that he was going to the desert, he thought about canceling but he won the curiosity (fortunately for us) Take that tour ONLY if you have your rental car and you want to be disappointed with a horseback tour.

Response from Host, May 2021

Hi! So sorry you wrote such a negative review! I’d like to clarify that the horses you rode all have been in magazines, commercials and music videos. These can be viewed on our Instagram and Facebook page. Your group rode on horse celebrities! Please note that’ you attended your tour during spring when horses shed their winter coats ( just like dogs do) to a summer coat to keep them cool during the Vegas heat. So when you pet them some Hair will fall out ( as nature intended it to. Obviously you are a beginner to horses or you would know that. ;) We brush the horses daily and they get bathes everyday to wash away sweat. If they were so neglected we would not be the only company in town that producers contract to use our horses in these productions. Our horses just had their hoofs done by our farrier just a few days prior to your ride. They wear horse shoes that protect their feet from rocks. Not sure how you’d know if they were picked out or if the horses were hurting? Uber comes to us everyday for every ride and clients can schedule a return trip back to vegas. You kept demanding we provided you transportation prior to your tour date but you did not want to pay for that option. The tables are sanitized between tours and at the end of the day. Since your group was the first group of the day the tables and chairs were already sanitized. Not sure how our sanitizer bottle can be dirty? Lol seems like no matter what company you attended a trail ride at you would have had issues with it. We are glad you had a safe ride on our horses at our pretty trail site.

Amazing experience with an amazing guide

Chris_L, Apr 2021
The scenery was amazing the horses were well trained and the guide was amazing at making us feel comfortable for our first time.

Great view

Erin_M, Apr 2021
Beautiful view and kid friendly! They fit my kids for the right size horse . The valley is absolutely beautiful and a great escape from Vegas gambling.

Not worth the money

Charnyra_S, Mar 2021
The experience was very poor. The instructor was texting the majority of the ride while we rode in complete silence. The instructor wasn’t friendly and had a slight attitude. The 30 minute trail ride was not worth it.

Response from Host, Mar 2021

Hi! Sorry we do not have you in our system as someone that has taken a trail ride with us. :( Not sure if you have the correct company as our trail rides are not 30 minutes and our guides are super friendly and love to talk to clients. If they are not very talkative it’s because the client doesn’t want to interact back with them but they still talk about the location and horses your riding. Only time our guides get what may be considered an “attitude” is if a client is doing something dangerous on the horses that can cause a potential dangerous situation for the entire group. Such as abusing the horses or kicking them to run off.

Best ride in town

John_S, Nov 2020
Staff super friendly and Trails were wonderful. Close enough to the city that the drive is quick but far enough out and hidden by hills that its quiet and all you hear is the sounds of nature. Lots of green bushes and desert landscaping to see. Started the ride with a large Omelete, potatoes, and banana bread. Was so good!! Thinking this is one of the best rides in town.

Natural beauty ride

Mia24, Sep 2020
What a lovely ride through the desert. Got to take my daughter for her first ever horseback ride. Just a bit too hot but otherwise a perfect experience for a rookie.
