Overview

If you want to explore the underwater world of Lanzarote without getting wet, then this is the tour for you. Descend 100 feet (30 meters) to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean in a large submarine that can accommodate 44 seated passengers. Along the way, look out for marine life that you likely wouldn’t see otherwise—such as sea breams, eels, barracudas, and rays. If you're lucky, you might even see a shipwreck.

We offer a daily bus service from Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca directly to us at Puerto Calero. Passengers coming by Submarine Bus will be given a pick up time and pick up point by message/email from Submarine Safaris after making their booking.

Cruise Passengers note transport to site will have to be by cab about 30 euro each way

Very well run, trip lasts around 40 minutes. We did it from a cruise ship and cab from port area was 30 euro, they gave us transport back to capital but the saving between cruise ship price with transport provided and doing it yourself was not worth the bother as sub holds a maximum of 44 people so that is the group size anyway.

If you are clostraphobic you will be ok as there is plenty of space to move around. The captains are very pleasant and there’s no fear there at all

Great experience! Definitely worth doing this. I took my 9yo and 12yo daughter and they loved it. They get a little check list of fish to look out for too so it adds to the fun

This trip was an interesting experience. It's quite short, but very unique. Adults may be a little underwhelmed, but the kids on board lived seeing the fish. Overall, a great way to tick off a bucket list item.

We had a superb experience with Submarine Safaris Lanzarote. Everything was well organised and to schedule, including the transfer from our resort, and the submarine ride itself was truly something to remember. Shoals of fish, rays, and wrecks to see, with a clear and relevant commentary over the multilingual headsets. A small display showed depth and a deck view. The seating (2 people to each large porthole) meant everyone had a good view. We could easily walk around when the boat rested on the seabed for a while. Highly recommended!

I had to go by public transport and was delayed and missed my time. The staff were very helpful and uderstanding and transferred me onto the next sailing. There was lots of room on the sub. The shoals of fish were great and followed us around. Saw three recks as well. Much better than some similar experiences I've had. We had a great time.

This was a great tour and well worth the money. The kids absolutely loved seeing the fish and shipwrecks. It's such a unique experience and not something you get the opportunity to do very often. It was very safe and operated smoothly 👌 I highly recommend this tour!

We had heard that the submarine was good, but didnt really know what to expect. Everything was great though. Pickup from the hotel was on time, and when we got to the marina, everything was explained really well. We went about 30 meters down, and saw lots of fish, and a couple of shipwrecks. The audio guide was good and explained in detail about everything you were seeing, and how the sub worked. The weather was good on the day we did it, so the view out the windows was good, and the water was clear. After the dive, we had some time to explore the nearby market and shops, before our coach back to the hotel. We would both recommend this to tourists who've never done it before.

Not the tour we were promised , no time in the area after the tour . Very disappointed.
