A great day out exploring the lava tubes

The experience was great but the host needed to speak a little slower when describing things and you need to be mobile to get around the caves

For the tour that will bore

A lot of time on the coach driving about. The caves were interesting but we arrived early so we're stood out in the sun told 10 min wait, 10 mins elapsed then told another 10 min. No shade and couldn't get on bus. Didn't really learn much about the caves to be honest. This could be due to being a multilingual trip the guide would be speaking for a good few mins 1st in Spanish then when it comes to English all the Spanish are talking over her. Then when it got to the German part they had no chance of hearing as everyone else was talking about what they had heard. 2nd stop was a bit random to see how this tunnel had been adapted, however due to the time of arrival no seats were available down by the bar as reserved for a group, no food was available and after short period of time no drinks either. Walked past the pool with the crabs then up to the gift shop and back to bus. No explanation really of the place. Finally on the way back took a scenic route to see a view of the sea. Plus side was my footrest worked on the coach whereas most others wire zip tied up. I'd probably recommend a full day trip including timanfaya.

A good way to see North Lanzarote highlights.

This was a great way to experience 3 of the 'must see' destinations to the North of the island. The guide was informative and very organised, meaning the trip stayed to schedule and we had adequate time everywhere. Pick-up from various locations took about an hour, which is very normal for such tours, and on the way home some passengers were moved to a minibus to allow a quicker return. This was our second trip with the operator LCT (the other was the Southern tour) and we were very pleased with both.

Beautiful caves but long coach journey

Spent first 90 mins on coach picking up people. The caves are beautiful but be aware that there are a lot of steep inclines and times bent over during tour through. Our guide spoke too quickly so difficult to understand. Photo stops ok. Time for cake and coffee at last cave stop.

Great locations to see but probably chose a different tour operator

Great places to visit but tour operator made us travel on a bus in the opposite direction to meet another bus to take us on the tour. Guide was very bossy telling everyone to hurry along. Otherwise we enjoyed the places we visited.

    Response from Host, Nov 2024

Hi Anne, thanks for your time! We arrange different transfer from different areas in Lanzarote in order to speed up the pick-up service. Take into account that the island is kind big, so we use different buses that meet up to exchange clients (logistical reasons). If we don't make this, the pick-up service would take more than 3 hours!! Anycase, about the guide, we will take note and talk with our collaborators. In other hand, we are glad you enjoy the visits!! Regards

Waiting over an hour for the bus to arrive. The Guide I spoke when a tour bus arrived, said we were not on his tour and we were with a different tour. I glanced at his list and saw my name. Pointed to it and then he let us on the bus, only to be changed to different bus to go onto the tour. The bus contained Spanish, German and English. So 50 or so people going into at time a very small cave and hanging around until he explained everything in 3 languages. Not an English tour in my opinion. The sights themselves were very interesting and a smaller tour in English would have been better.

    A little bit better.

The visit to beautiful, the places are worth a lot, The guide with a very fair Spanish, since it was quite difficult to understand the explanations, this point remains to have been perfect.
