The service ran on time and got us safely to our destination, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The bus was quite old and noisy, and we felt every bump in the road. Dinner consisted of cold pizza, and breakfast required a fairly long walk into town — which we knew we’d have to do eventually, but still felt poorly planned. The included breakfast was just three small slices of toast with butter and jam, and coffee that was undrinkable. We ended up ordering our own, which was fine.
There was no Wi-Fi on board, and with the seat in front reclined, it was difficult to find a comfortable position for our legs. Given the price we paid, we expected a higher level of comfort and service.

Decent tour, but the bus was very stuffy and very loud throughout the night. Great guides helped us call taxis and manage transport in both cities though!

The overnight bus from La Paz to Uyuni is worth it if you have limited time when visiting Bolivia. It is the easiest way to get back and forth given that there is only one flight a day at this time.

Booking via Viator meant I had an english speaking guide on the bus as well as dinner included. The trip to La Paz was easy and seamless. The bus was comfortable and warm. Returning was similar although the bus got very hot. Duvets were included although not extremely clean.

Local pick up at my hotel was offered. Bus was clean and on schedule. Comfortable enough to get a little sleep . Noticed many sleeping soundly. Attendant did not leave the Uyuni Station until everyone met their guides.

The bus quality was great, clean and comfortable, I had a great sleep on it, the driver drove safe and steadily! It was a bit confusing and scary on the pick up part, as they didn’t pick me up from my hotel, asking me to be at the bus terminal at 20:55 (for a 21:00 bus departure) while no guide showed up until 21:07….. I thought I missed the bus and no one could offer any help where this company’s bus parked…. Horrible experience for the pick up, helpless

Nowhere in the listing did it state RoadRunner would be the one picking me up from the hotel and it wasn’t stated the the bus was El Cisne. Even after booking, that was not in the confirmation email, nor told to me.
Nonetheless, the guy from Roadrunner who picked me up and was the travel consultant when arriving back to La Paz was awesome!! The ride was very comfortable, usb worked, good dinner and decent breakfast each way. The blanket was quite dirty on way back, so I did not use it.
The ad states: “Lowest price guaranteed”. That is not correct. Others on the bus and the others I met states they paid $38 each way for same or even better accommodations (bed seats). So, this was more expensive.
Also, I booked a Uyuni Salt Tour thru them. Over What’sApp, they told me I could pay by credit card, but when I arrived, they said no, only cash…. The Tour was also 200bs more expensive than others when I arrived. Other tours stated we will not be going to the Isle and that this company would say Yes, but half way thru, they would say we can’t because water was so high. Exactly what happened. I could have paid 1/2 and received the same (two of the travels in our van were from the other company I spoke too) The other companies also provided boots so we don’t ruin shoes with the salt, Altitude did not.
The company did great and I had a wonderful time. I just believe for the same or better, Bus Transport and Uyuni Salt Tours, there are way better prices.

All very professional and reliable. Pick up from the hotel in La Paz with transfer in large bus incl. dinner (pizza with fresh basil) by English guide. Bus very comfortable, warm (incl. blanket!) and punctual. Even from Uyuni everything worked out fine (no pick-up here, as everything is within walking distance). Note: At the bus station in Uyuni there is no warm waiting room or similar - rather wait in front of it in the city in a cafe. Guide organized and in La Paz directly still a good taxi. Fully recommended.

El bus estaba sucio, la frazada que me dieron estaba terriblemente sucia, tenía algo que parecía sangre, me la tuvieron que cambiar. El servicio sanitario no tenia papel higiénico ni jabón para lavarse las manos, además, es un solo baño para un bus de dos plantas por lo que para un viaje de 9 horas no da a basto. No nos dieron antifaz para dormir ni tapones para oidos, tampoco el café/té.
