I learned so much about the culture and history of this absolutely beautiful country. My tour guide, Max Jiménez was fenomenal. Very knowledgeable and proud of his heritage and his country. I recommend him 100%!

We had Rem as our guide, from Red Cap tours. His English was excellent and he knew a lot about La Paz. The tour was very good, and I would highly recommend it.

A really excellent tour of La Paz; I highly recommend taking it on your first day in town to get a lay of the land and recommendations from the guide. Who was fantastic! She gave an amazing overview of history, culture, politics, everything :)

Great history of Lima and Peru, I enjoyed the markets very much but would have liked to spend more time there.

This was a great tour given by a local guide. He was knowledgeable about La Paz and Bolivia and we covered a lot of ground. The tour ran very long though. I think we went over time by close to an hour.

No perspective on Bolívia such as history, political constitution, economy etc. Only long storytelling about the prison and human sacrifices in connection with construction industry. We rushed through the vegetable market which could have been interesting to hear about. We opted out after witches market because we felt bored. The payment was not transparent as it appeared we were expected to pay 50 BOV each.

She spoke very good English, very informative with great knowledge, and fun to listen to. over all a great tour!

Max was an excellent guide! He explained all of the stops in great detail, and made it fun at the same time! His connection and love for Bolivia is apparent, and it made the tour much better. I recommend this tour to anybody who wants to see some main attractions in La Paz with in depth explanations about all of them!

We wanna thank Denise for her detail of stories tied behind all the attractions presented. The tour was energetic n full of color.
Definitely a must do for La Paz holiday makers

Denise was an amazing tour guide! We had wandered through La Paz on our own the previous day, but doing this tour with her answered so many questions we had about the city, its culture, politics and history. She spoke clearly and was very engaging. We can highly recommend this tour!

This was a great introduction to, and first full day of our visit to La Paz, and Bolivia. Rem was a great guide, and we really learned a lot from him. We visited an outdoor produce market, and got to try a local fruit. We walked through the witches market, and were told about urban legends in the area. We stopped near some government buildings, and learned about some of the political history of Bolivia. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the tour description says we will end with a traditional Bolivian drink, and that didn't happen. I was looking forward to that! Oh well. Maybe that bit should just be removed from the description, because overall it was a great tour!

One of the best walking tours I've ever been on. Our tour guide, Max, was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, funny, and relatable. Personally, I loved learning about Bolivian history, culture, and politics. Highly recommend signing up for this tour next time you visit La Paz!

We met the guide at the meeting point. At the second street crossing we couldn’t get across with the rest of the group and then we could not find them in the market. We waited for over half an hour but she did not come back and we never saw them again, so our tour only lasted 10 minutes.

Had the best tour with Daniel he was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging and kept us entertained with lots of stories and facts about the Bolivian and La Paz culture. Can't recommend this tour enough, it's a great way to get to know the city and Daniel was incredibly enthusiastic and you could feel how much he loves his city and it was very infectious.

Fabulous walking tour around the markets and some of the sites with regard the culture and political history of the city and the region.

A great tour- perfect for your first day in La Paz. The guide really brought the tour to life. The jail was a revelation.
Omar_C, Mar 2022
Daniel was very friendly and well versed on the history and fun facts about La Paz. I loved the visit to the markets and particularly the demonstration at the Witche’s Market! Totally recommended!!

Guide knowledgeable, entertaining and attentive. Good value and an excellent primer for first time visitors to La Paz.

This was an interesting trip. Our guide and driver picked us upon time and whisked us away to Moon Valley. This is just outside La Paz and looks like another planet! Hence, the name!
After this we managed to get on the Cable Car above La Paz and this was a highlight of the trip for us. The topography of La Paz is incredible and you'd be surprised how every space is utilised in the valley and on the cliff tops.
At the end we went through the Witches Market and this was rushed to a degree. Our guide shared some interesting stories and had great knowledge, however, the tour did feel a little rushed at times. If you are struggling for time, then this tour is perfect for you. If, however, you have a bit more time, this tour will give you a start of where to go in La Paz.
Kir_B, Jan 2026
Good tour for day one in La Paz. The guide knows so many stories and is always ready to tell. Don't expect too much from this tour - but for city orientation it's a good tour.
