Overview
If you’ve always wanted to learn to surf, Kuta is a great place to do it. During a private two-hour lesson you’ll learn some surfing theory and safety tips, practice on dry land, and then move into the ocean. Spend about 45 minutes paddling, catching waves, and standing on your board. At the end of the lesson you’ll be ready to practice on your own.

We are on Kuta beach. From the road we are opposite Rosso Vivo restaurant and the Hard Rock Hotel. On the beach you will see Longboards with the Bali Surf Class logo. If you have trouble finding us, contact us our instructors will give you directions or meet you on JL Pantai Kuta.

Very well organized, great guide.
The early start at 5 30 helps beat the huge crowd at Padar island, Komodo island. Pick up was sharp at given time.
The guide and team were exceptional. They helped us find Manta at Manta point/ turtles at Siaba. Also gave very uesful tips.
The gears (Snorkel Kit) provided by them were good quality. The speedboat was pretty good, had a toilet on board as well. They didn't have tea/coffee but had water bottles, coke and soft drinks in coolbox. Helped beat the heat.
They even managed veg. food for us.
Overall the tour is well organized and guides are great.

It was my first time surfing, my instructor Harman is very knowledgeable about the waters, gives clear instructions and always makes sure I am okay. The other instructors there are also very friendly and funny to chat with. Surfing may just be my next addiction 😁

Well they managed to get two 50 odd year olds who hadn’t surfed before up on a board! 😅 But also recommend for any level! Fantastic crew and great instructors, we highly recommend them!

Bali surf class did such a good job teaching me how to surf and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of progress I was able to make as a beginner. All of the instructors were very nice and encouraging and provided clear explanations and directions.

We were there during high tide so it was a little rough, but I did not feel concerned since our instructors were there with us the whole time. They told us the right waves to catch and matched it to our experience levels.

I booked the lesson quite last minute, but the provider was very flexible. Jerry took his time explaining everything in detail and stayed patient even though I spent more time falling than on the board itself.

I had Harman as my instructor. He was awesome. The waves were great to learn on. They picked up as the lesson went on which was perfect as I had surfed before. Harman was great at helping and spoke great English. He was funny and gave great tips and instruction.

I got paired with the older gentleman and I had such a terrible experience. He was so rude. From the beginning he told me I had to stand up a different way on the board than my husband. Once we got in the water he kept pushing me sideways along the ocean unlike everyone else so every wave would wash over my face and then he would laugh. He constantly was tilting my board. That’s not even the worst part. When I was struggling at getting up he kept saying I don’t exercise and that’s why I am having a hard time breathing (for reference, I work out every day and wasn’t having a hard time breathing). I gave up in less than an hour because I was tired of his rude comments. My husband was with a younger guy and had a good time and the younger guys offered me a spot to sit and drinks while I waited for my husband but the old guy had ruined it too badly for me at that point.

Me and my girlfriend went for a challenge.
It was our first time surfing. Instructors were really kind and explained us step by step how to surf. At the end we both could ride the wave and it felt really amazing. Definitely recommend.

My gf and I had never surfed before but had a great time trying it. Our instructors Eric and Robbie were very knowledgeable and by the end we were both able to get up on the board and ride a wave. They even provided us with beach chairs after the lesson to continue relaxing

Great experience! They were waiting for us when we arrived and quickly got the boys outfitted and in the water for two full hours of instruction. Professional and extremely friendly which made it enjoyable for all. Sent photos and videos after with WhatsApp. Would highly recommend.
