In 10 hours normally you can visit 3 - 5 places on one direction either ubud, east, south or north Bali area. Number of places visited also depends on how much time you spend on each location and also traffic condition.

Private Full-Day Bali Tour

We found this private Bali tour to be somewhat below expectations. While the driver was polite and trying his best, he seemed unprepared for guiding a full-day tour. The vehicle was older and the air conditioning struggled in the Bali heat, which made for an uncomfortable ride. Communication was also a challenge — the driver’s English was good but limited, and if my wife hadn’t spoken Indonesian, it would have been difficult to get directions or ask questions. This tour has potential, but needs improvements in vehicle quality, guide preparation, and communication to be truly enjoyable.

My driver Leo was more than i could ask for. He picked me up at my hotel early and took me every place on my list. Speaks excellent english and lived in US. If you are looking for the real Bali experience off the beaten track straying away from the crowded tourist sites this is the itinerary for you. We were two girls travelling alone. We got picked up at our Hotel in Ubud at 07:00. Our first stop was a beautiful black sand beach called Wates beach near Candidasa. After we made a stop at Taman Tirta Gangga, a unique water park in a mountainous area. You can buy fish food and feed the multi-coloured Koi fish of all sizes. Yogi best guide we could have asked for showed us the statues on the grounds and told us the folklore they were based on. Just outside the temple, you can spend time with small tame owls, you can play with a Luwak and even take a selfie with an Iguana. If you are an animal lover, the best part is that the animals are still in their natural habitat and can roam freely whenever they please. A small donation is required at your discretion. As we moved further up we had views of Mountains, Ocean and Rice fields as far as the eyes can see. Our next stop, Lempuyang temple was definitely one of the highlights. If you are fortunate enough to go on a clear day this temple offers an iconic view of Mt. Agung. Even on a cloudy day, this is still an awesome experience. Ensure that you enter the temple using the side stairs as the middle set is only used by the Gods. Yogi stopped at a local vendor where we bought some Rambutan, a local fruit that is very common in these areas. Dont be fooled by the warm weather and humidity in the south, this area gets very chilly due to the high elevation. Yogi stopped at a village called Kintamani Bangli. Here we had lots of photo opportunities with small local houses and farmlands. Local kids playing and chickens roaming with the clove forest in the background. This is the real Bali! Driving through the northeast area Yogi took us off the main road for a detour and showed us the seaside villages. Diving facilities on every corner with Mt Batur visible in the far distance. We reached Tukad Bangkung, the longest bridge in Bali designed by an Italian architect where Yogi dropped us off to cross it by foot. The views were astonishing with a river flowing far below and forests all around. If you are ahead of schedule you can request to make a pit stop at Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, three lakes surrounding Bratan. On our way to our last stop in the south, Tanah Lot we drove through Plaga and Mengwi, some interesting history sounding these villages. Tanah Lot was the busiest site on our tour being the most visited temple on the island. We enjoyed a Bintang with the sun setting behind the temple. The last leg of the trip we got to see more of Denpasar on our way to Sanur. This was a good way to change location as we did not have to pay an additional transfer fee from Ubud to Sanur. Bali Yowana tour offered flexibility and professionalism. Its much more than just a private charter. Our driver Yogi was more than just a driver and a guide, he is an island expert with a wealth of knowledge. He is passionate about his job and went out of his way to make this experience memorable.
