Tourist trap

I booked a Turkey Ephesus tour and Turkish bath expecting this to be the day’s activity , the tour ended up with its own pre-planned itinerary to go to a jewelry outlet, have a personal fashion show down the run way at a lamb skin leather factory and then lunch that so happens to be right next door the Turkish rug making store all planned to get tourist to spend ALOT of money with high pressure sales people at every location . Why not list your excursions for shopping outlets/plazas instead of Ephesus library and Turkish bath? I was so disappointed my mom and I got separated at the jewelry store and her senior self got pressured into buying overpriced lab made gemstones. Don’t book here if you don’t want to be tricked.

Regarding the jewelry store, you specifically requested to visit the jewelry center yourselves. During that visit, you personally chose to purchase approximately USD 3,800 worth of gold jewelry. No one from Sea Drop Travel forced, pressured, or required you to make any purchase. The decision to visit and purchase was entirely yours. Our tour information and confirmation message also clearly explain our “Supporting Local Artisans & Family Businesses” program. Guests may be offered visits to traditional carpet workshops, leather showrooms, and jewelry centers as part of the local cultural experience. Most importantly, our information clearly states: “There is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything. You are always welcome to simply observe, learn, and enjoy the demonstrations.” We would also like to clarify the Turkish Bath issue. The tour description clearly explains what is included in the Turkish Bath experience and that massage is not included unless separately selected or purchased. When you decided that you no longer wished to participate in the Turkish Bath, we respected your decision immediately and did not pressure you to continue. Our intention is always to provide our guests with a flexible and enjoyable private Ephesus tour from Kusadasi. Because this was a private tour, we did our best to accommodate your preferences throughout the day, including the places you personally requested to visit. We respect every guest's opinion, including negative feedback. I was hesitant when booking this excursion but I’m so glad I did! Our guide Ayden (I think that’s how he spells it) was the best ever! He knew everything you need to know and then some! He knew where to go and what time to go so there wouldn’t be too many people. He timed our stops perfect. When we got to each stop it wasn’t crowded and when we were leaving ask the buses were coming in. The lunch was delicious. One thing I can tell you that I didn’t like at all was how pushy the sales people were when we stores. Ayden negotiated for me but I know I still got ripped off. The leather factory lied to me but that’s another long story! Really hope and pray that y’all know how to say no! Ayden was great! He even gave us a gift There was so many great parts of this excursion! Ask for Kayden at booking. You won’t be disappointed!
