Such a great experience! Our guide, Begum, was the absolute best! Ephesus, the weaving school, and the hammam were all so much fun! Great combination of touring the area and still experiencing local culture, and the price was an absolute steal!

Great time in kusadasi

It was easy to find our guide, Selcuk, after docking in the port. We were in the van within 5 minutes. Ephesus is a huge site that could easily take a half day to get through and can be viewed through many viewpoints. This tour hit the highlights from the historical perspective and touched lightly on biblical items. The visit to the Turkish bath was amazing. We upgraded to massages from the package offering. We were back to the port with plenty of time for security and shops.

Had a great tour with Hakkan, our tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to answer each of our many questions. The transpiration was comfortable and spacious, with a large Mercedes passenger van. Some of the stops, like the bathroom stop, came with a sales presentation so it felt a bit sales heavy. There was no obligation to buy, but throughout the day there were people trying to sell us carpets, souvenirs, and leather. The main issue I had was regarding the $40 admission fee. It didn’t state anywhere that we needed to pay that amount in cash, and our guide indicated he could only accept cash. I wish I had known in advance because I don’t always carry 160 euros on my person.

A fun and surprisingly great experience - surprised at how much we didn’t know and came to understand about Ephesus and Turkish culture, and fun thanks to our excellent guide Deniz. He is intelligent, expressive and engaging. Also the experience of a traditional Turkish bath and olive oil massage is unique and … interesting. For Americans we would say … just go with it: you’re going to be (somewhat) naked and covered with salt and bubbles and warm water among your friends. But it’s not an experience you’re you’re not going to get at Massage Envy and the memory is priceless. This tour was one of the best we’ve had in over 25 years of international travel.

Excellent day!!! Our tour guide was amazing. He explained everything about Ephesus in detail and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable. We also enjoyed learning about the culture of Turkey by chatting about daily life. The Turkish bath was a great experience; we added on a massage which was a good experience. The lunch and Turkish rug shop was very interesting. We learned a lot.
