Great Full Tour of Ephesus!

We had a great tour. We were the only people to book so we had a private tour. Our guide Mehmet used the opportunity to show us everything and in great detail. It would not have been possible with a larger group. When I asked about going to the St John Basilica he said it wasn’t on the itinerary (despite that it is clearly listed in the tour title). He said it wasn’t a problem to go there and we needed to pay to go inside. The Isa Bey mosque is closed for renovation so we only saw it at a distance from the St John Basilica. On the tour we had to stop by a leather factory and then at a pottery shop. The day would have been perfect without the mandatory sales pitches by the shop staff.

A Fantastic Day out to various sites, which included Ephesus Ancient City, Temple of Artemis, St John Basilica and the Isa Bey Mosque. The tour was one of the best we have ever been on, our Guide Adam picked us up with the driver at 8.30 am at our Hotel, due to the low season and Turkey sadly being so quiet we were the only couple on the Tour, but this was to our advantage. It meant we had a private guide, which was brilliant. The tour itself was so thorough and Adam was so knowledgeable. He covered everything, going over all the history of Ephesus and allowed us time to take pictures and spend time looking on our own. The sites in this tour are well chosen, they cover a lot of sites in one day and there is the right amount of time allowed at each stop. We got back to the hotel around 4.30pm, which was a nice time to relax and freshen up before dinner. The food was a buffet lunch which was served at a nice hotel restaurant, this was a nice mix of Turkish food. I would thoroughly recommend this tour company,this tour and the guide himself is brilliant. 10 out of 10 from us, we will definately be telling everyone we know to use Funny Tourism

Our tour English language tour ended up being an English, Spanish, Turkish tour. It's not easy to say the same thing in 3 languages. We could over hear other guides in English giving much more in depth descriptions. We also did not go to the St John Basilica or Isa Bey Mosque which are supposed to be included in this package.

Excellent trip really interesting and informative guide Adam/ Ardem. It was just 2 of us on the tour with Adam. All very interesting and highly recommended - the only thing that detracted from the tour was the usual visit to a local crafts shop where the craft was demonstrated interesting but then felt a little pressured to buy as there was just two of us. Overall highly recommended.

What a Great Tour!! I don't have enough kind a good words to say about our tour guide Tugrul Sokmen. Excellent we have been in dozens of tours all around the world but Tugrul was exceptional he went out of his way to show us and explain every single detail about the Rich History of this sacred land. So well preserved and so well taken care of. The restaurant he took us for lunch was so good with typical turkish food super delicious. I recommend Tugrul 1000

I highly recommend this tour for anybody who has never been to these sights before, or the surrounding areas. We were promptly met at our hotel by our transfer and guide. Ozzy made us feel extremely welcome and his English was wonderful. We went to all sights that were listed in our programme, and Ozzy gave us in depth knowledge at each sight. I cannot fault anything at all from this tour and it is completely worth the money! Ephesus was incredible! 5 for this beautifully presented, small, private tour.

Adem, our tour guide from Kusadasi and a personalised van driver for the 2 of us were the BEST and highly recommended. Adem welcomed us straight at the cruise docking terminal of Kusadasi. He is a very knowledgeable well-informed qualified guide with a wealth of historical information of Ephesus and Tureky to share throughout the day. Adem took photos for us at every interesting site. He was able to tailor the tour to include visits to rugs/carpets store, ceramics making centre and leather goods shop. Just be wary of the price you are willing to pay for what you like some are well over-priced. Turkish lunch was well served in a quiet hospital cafe. Adem even treated us Turkish coffee after visit to House of Virgin Mary. Excellent value for money tour for the full day. Adem and driver thank you very much!

His depth of knowledge, knack for directing us to quieter niches out of the way of the many large tour groups allowed us to listen intently to his insightful information. Adem was an amazing guide. This was our third visit to Ephesus we went back for the kids! and our best. Adem was easy to find, right off the ship and had arranged great transportation. He was very knowledgeable - not just about this area, but all of Turkey. He happily adjusted the itinerary to fit our kids' energy levels, and even made sure we had time to pick up baclava before getting back on our cruise ship! Highly recommended.

Our guide was fantastic. Unfortunately I hadn't been able to get in touch with the office and were expecting to be picked up at 8.30am but she had waited at cruise port since 7am. It wasn't obvious at Kusadasi where we would be picked up and stood in the wrong place for further 20mins. But that aside, our knowledgeable guide was lovely, as was her driver. She was expecting an all day excursion though, so even our booking had not be relayed correctly to her. Not her fault, she was great.
