Excellent bus tour with our thorough, personable tour guide who showed us the natural beauty of Slovenia and gave us some of the history. It was an interesting connection with Italy and Croatia . We were then dropped off in beautiful Piran where we had the best gelato in my life.
I was pleasantly surprised by Slovenia and would definitely visit again !

Wonderful tour - Monica gave an in depth overview of not only Koper and Piran but of the whole country of Slovenia. You could feel her love of her country when she spoke. Tour bus was comfortable and clean. While in Piran we walked up to St George Church. Beautiful.

Comfortable bus ride. Our tour guide was very informative and personable. Piran is a quaint little seaside village with amazing views. I loved the architecture and the winding, narrow alleyways. There's a beautiful old church on the top of the hill. We enjoyed the experience.

Lovely visit to the town of Piran lots to see loved the architecture and the little weaving lanes
Lots of places to eat and drink very friendly people
Our guide gave us lots of info on the journey there and back and we had an hour and 45 to explore the town before heading back we had a wonderful morning exploring this quaint little town

Piran was fantastic. Quaint little town. The guide was good but she was describing places that we could not see from the bus and we only were halfway listening to her after a while. She was not bad. She mentioned a clock tower when there wasn't one around where we were on the bus

It was a nice drive , but unfortunately a big foggy in the morning to see much at the scenic stop, but loved the Piran . Very picturesque. Well worth the money.

Quite disappointing. The site made the day sound attractive. In reality, we got transportation to Piran, with one 5 minute stop on the way. Not worth the money spent or my time.

Was easy to find the tour as it was right at the NCL Pier! The guide was informative on our way to Piran. We had enough time in Piran to walk on our own...shop...and have lunch. Beautiful town on the water.

We couldn't find the meeting point as we arrived by car and had to find parking in the area. Eventually we found the tour operator but by then the tour bus had already left. Fortunately, the tour operator arranged for a small bus to take us as a private tour at no extra cost but due to the lost time we didn't do much of the scenic route. We saw what we came to see and for that we are thankful, but it was very stressful until we finally got moving.

beautiful city seaside destination with a blend of medieval architecture and narrow, winding streets. The town has well-preserved historic buildings, stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. The main square, Tartini Square, named after the famous violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini, is full of live as the heart of the town, surrounded by beautiful Venetian Gothic buildings. The town's rich history, scenic beauty, and unique charm make it a great destination on the Slovenian coast.

I really loved the city of Piran, by the sea and just spectacularly beautiful. The shopping was good nice assortment of mementos. I was especially pleased with the purchase of a black ship captains hat to expand my collection!

Probably very unfair. I didn't actually go on this tour because I found out when I got to the meeting point quite far from Ljubljana where I was staying, that the tour date had been changed to the day before because of a cruise stop schedule change. The tour operator had tried to inform me through the Viator messaging system, but I didn't think to check it until I found no one at the meeting point. I wish I could have experienced it, and would recommend you do so. Just double check that the tour is actually going.

It is very important, as you already stated, to check the Viator messages at least day or 2 before the tour, because we always reach out to travellers if something happens or changes.

A 30 minute bus ride through some lovely scenery brought us to the seaside town of Piran where we spent the next two hours. We walked around the port, up to the church and onto the city walls. We still had enough time to enjoy a lovely glass of wine in the square

Booked this tour Online. Very good communication from Instranka Tours. Kiosk is just outside cruise terminal gate. Very pleasant staff.
Mini bus was air conditioned but uncomfortable with little leg room. PA system very poor so missed most of the commentary from our guide. Would be better with pre-recorded commentary and good audio system.
The drive itself however took us through beautiful countryside and dropped us off in Piran, which is a beautiful seaside town. We were allocated a very pleasant 2 hours to explore. Very enjoyable. Returned to port via some beautiful beaches.
Can recommend this tour despite audio problems.
