We took this tour with 3 other couples as a shore excursion from
Koper port. It’s really easy to find the guide as the tour office is just outside the cruise exit. Our guide Goran was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable about the history of Slovenia and he gave us an excellent overview of life. Ljubljana is about 1 1/2 hours away as was Lake Bled. We visited Lake Bled first, where we did a tour of the castle. It’s such a beautiful area it would have been nice to have had half an hour to walk around the lake. We then visited Ljubljana which is a vibrant and prosperous city. Here Goran gave us a guided walk around the old town and visited a cafe for some local sausage and beer - all excellent. The tour was 8 hours long and we arrived back promptly. We can thoroughly recommend a visit to these beautiful towns - especially with Goran as a guide.

The tour stopped on the way to Lake Bled for 30-45 minutes waiting for two guests who missed the tour. This subtracted time from our time in Ljubljana. The Lake Bled portion was not well organized as they split the tour between the boat ride and the castle tour and we wasted time waiting for the other group.

We were so glad we chose to go to the castle at Lake Bled. It was interesting in itself, but also gave a different perspective on the lake. Our guide, Goran, was terrific and even recommended we try the local vanilla cream cake and showed us where to get some!

Guide was great. Driver great. Need windows that people can see out of on both sides of the van. Can’t ask people to look at things and then not be able to see them.

They adjusted the start time from 8:45 to 7:30, because cruise ship arrival was 7am and we were back by 3:34! Driver/guide was a safe driver with much knowledge. With 7 people there was some flexibility with those wanting to see the lake bled castle and others wanting a horse and buggy around lake ..60 euros .. and others walked. The famous lake bled cake was delicious and we brought back extras for our cabin steward. We tipped the driverguide generously because he was so terrific!
Kudos to the tour company because they answered messages quickly. They are located literally 20yards from terminal. Vans and buses are right there. The yellow umbrella is a very large beige umbrella with yellow on the sides. Just go up to the counter to check in. Lake Bled is worth experiencing.

We had an amazing visit to Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Our tour guide was engaging and educational. We loved the way he shared his love for his country!
The lake is more beautiful than we imagined from looking at photos and the city is meticulously cared for.
Slovenia should be on everyone’s map for vacation hotspots!!!!

The tour went smoothly. The kiosk is just in front of the port gates, you can't miss it. Our guide managed the time in a perfect manner and his explanations and stories were very interesting. We saw the Bled castle, the lake, and the old town of Ljubljana. The was also enough free time for shopping and lunch.

Our tour guide, Damian, was fantastic. He educated us on the history, accomplishments, and facts of Slovenia on the long journey between each stops. Everything was very well organized and our group was really satisfied with this excursion. Lake Bled was breathtaking so I would definitely recommend taking this tour. The city of Ljubljana was fantastic. He took us to the main square and there was something for everyone. If you’re stopping in Koper and trying to decide which excursion to take, pick THIS ONE!

Good tour, ideally we'd have more time at each stop but that's more to do with the cruise timings than the tour itself. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us different options so we could adapt our day accordingly.

Disappointing in our guide who seemed very disorganized and unsure of what to do. Guide was sleeping on trip up and back to our towns. My wife and father who have mobility issues were left as the guide just went ahead very fast. I spoke to him about my concerns and on our next stop he still rushed ahead. Wouldn’t recommend this tour guide but would highly recommend going to lake bled and Ljubljana.

The tour is well worth it. Lake Bled is beautiful, I wouldn't go up to the castle, I would take advantage of the time to swim in the lake.
