Excellent. Tour done at your pace. Hinata was great I would ask for her as our guide next time we visit Kobe. Hinata set a plan to see the highlights and adjusted as we walked for shopping time, stopping at a local bakery and in Chinatown for Kobe beef on a skewer.

Great guide with Satoko

We had a lovely guide called Satoko. She messaged me a few weeks before the tour to discuss what we’d like to do. Satoko then came to meet us at the cruise port and showed us around Kobe. She was so friendly and took us to some great spots. It was like having a friend show us around. At the end of the tour we were taken back to the port so there was no worry of getting lost. Kobe port with Kodai: = great half day tour!

Kodai was friendly, positive, enthusiastic & considerate, with good English communication skills. Weeks prior to our tour, he was very eager to communicate with us in order to tailor his tour to our interests & preferences. Also he was super responsible, punctual, & dependable. Kodai tried hard to individualize his tour to suit our needs, even meeting us at the cruise port and later escorting us to the train station, where we needed to catch the bullet train for our next destination. Beyond the usual tourist attractions, Kodai also took pains to show us some unique aspects of Japanese and Kobe culture. A highlight was the Kobe beef museum. On top of his prepared itinerary, Kodai was quite knowledgeable, providing answers to our many questions. He has made a good start in his tour guiding career. Would recommend without reservation.

A truly personalised Kobe experience - Exceptional guide!!

We had a fantastic day exploring Kobe with our guide- Kodai. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. He tailored the tour to our specific requests, and nothing was too much trouble—he truly went above and beyond to make the day enjoyable, safe, and memorable. We visited a local food market, not a tourist market, but authentic Kobe foodie market, a beautiful Japanese shrine , a museum to learn about the city’s history and see art, and an authentic Kobe beef restaurant at our request. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the real Kobe with the most engaging local guide.

Kobe city and wonderful tour

Hinata was a very efficient tour guide. She took us on a walking tour of several interesting places in Kobe. We walked quite a bit (7.7 km 🤣🤣) and that was fantastic because we had enough time to interact with her, who told us about the customs, traditions, and history of her city and also the country. We want to go back and, if possible, we want to go out with Hinata again; it will always be good to see her and the beautiful city of Kobe again! I highly recommend this tour and Hinata for everyone! Kodai's English is very good and he is a good communicator. He is very personable, friendly, accomodating, and knowledgeable about Japanese history and local culture. He took us outside of Kobe to Shioya to experience life in a small town, then to interesting places in Kobe, including the Kobe Herb Gardens, shopping areas, and to eat foods Kobe is known for, including Kobe beef. Be prepared to do a lot of walking.

Amazing stroll through Kobe

Had the most peaceful and amazing time in Kobe. Hinata was my guide and she fit the tour exactly to my preferences, offering insights along the way. Went to nunobiki gardens and then to Kitano Ijinkan Gai, and ended with a tasty teppanyaki lunch. Had great time chatting and strolling around and enjoying a few hours with a local. Highly recommend this tour

A great customised tour. Kodai is knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. We had a great tour around the historical area, then out to a more rural location for some lovely sushi and then to Chinatown. A good way to spend a few hours exploring.

Kodai was a wonderful tour guide. He met us at the port terminal and guided us throughout the day. Kodai guided us through the transportation system and brought us to interesting spots including the sake and lkobe beef museums. He was very helpful and guided us on shrine and table etiquette. Our tour guide Kodai was great - very friendly and enthusiastic. He made contact early on when we initially booked the tour asking to know what we wanted to see. Saw the historical area, Chinatown, ate some Kobe beef and had lunch at a Sushi restaurant run by a lovely husband and wife team. We had a great day and we all learned something as many questions were asked from both sides. Would highly recommend this tour.

Perfect day in Kobe!

We had an amazing day in Kobe thanks to our guide Kodai! He connects so well with teens and adults and he planned the best day for us. We had seen so many urban areas that we asked Kodai to show us a rural area. He took us to a very cool fishing village that we would have never been able to find or explore on our own. He also taught us so much about Kobe beef and took us to the best places to eat. We had many laughs too because of Kodai’s great personality!

Our tour guide Kodai was great from the beginning til the very end. He was very good with communication through WhatsApp. He created a customized tour for us while we were in Kobe. He was very knowledgeable with all the surrounding and history of Kobe, which was what we asked him for. He was also very considerate since we had young kids to stop and rest. Accessible Tour Option for Kobe!

I was very happy with this tour. We communicated through WhatsApp so they could create an itinerary based on what I wanted to see, keeping in mind I use a motorized wheelchair. Kaido, my guide, was very friendly & knowledgeable. We went to see the Herb Garden & took the Ropeway round trip. We then went to the Ikuta Shrine, the oldest shrine in Japan. It was quite accessible & they have put a lot of thought into making it as accessible as possible while maintaining the original design of the shrine. If you’re looking for an accessible, reasonably priced tour in Kobe, this is the tour for you!

Kodai gave us a great tour around Kobe. We had given Kodai our preferences via WhatsApp and he was able to show us everything we asked for. Although a young tour guide, he was very enthusiastic and we were able to understand everything he spoke about. A visit to a local cafe gave us the amazing experience of ‘Okonomiyaki’ , a very popular local dish prepared in front of us and kept hot on a heated plate in the table. Something not to be missed. A very polite guide with great local knowledge
