Our family of 4 (all adults) were fortunate enough to have our own private tour with guide Chris Warren. He was wonderful. A retired school teacher, he was so personable, patient, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend you request him if possible! He does other tours as well, and we wish we had more time to book other tours with him.
Transport is via bus and train and can be very busy during peak periods. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable and provided key advice as to what to see and do.
Tour in a small group was great to get information about the area not found in guidebooks was very informative and extremely enjoyable pace. Unique experience with a great tour guide
Had a wonderful tour with Roland. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and showed us so much! We had a group of four, plus Roland. It was the perfect size.
April in the Alps means variable weather! We started the day in Lauterbrunnen under low clouds that stayed with us on our high speed gondola ride to Murren. Fortunately, after about an hour, the clouds broke and we were treated to magnificent views of the mountains. This is the very end of the ski season and no shops were open. We were able to enjoy lunch on a terrance with a view. The cog-wheel tram was not yet open so we took a leisurely walk down hill to the "old" gondola. We made an impromptu stop at Trummelbach Falls - highly recommend. FYI - with only my husband and I it turned out to be a private tour. Our guide was very good, but I forgot to write down his name! I've included his photo.
Roland was on time and very nice! He showed us the best spots for pictures! Took us to a great lunch place! Would highly recommend! The day turned out to be a beautiful day!!
Highly recommend this tour! Loved the small group attention. Our guide, Alex was excellent and taught us so much about what we were viewing as well as Swiss culture. The scenery from Murren was unforgettable. Definitely recommend this tour.

This was a very interesting tour to the highest village in Switzerland. The guides were very knowledgeable and were very helpful for making this a memorable experience.
The tour guide is nice and very experienced. Made the trip more majestic. Helpful when he offered hiking option vs take train only
Our guide was very knowledgeable and easy going. He knew a lot about the area, history and answered all of our silly questions like why do the cows wear cow bells, etc.
This half-day tour was excellent! We were fortunate to have awesome weather and our guide Michael was excellent in leading us throughout the itinerary. Lauterbrunnen and Mussen had awesome views of the surrounding mountains, waterfalls and paragliding activities. The pace of the tour was just right and the hiking/walking involved was relatively easy for all ages.
Michael was a wonderful tour guide with good information and an interesting perspective having lived in both England and Switzerland. We navigated the train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and strolled over to Staubbach Falls. We then took the cable car and train to Murren and did a quick tour of the small village before grabbing lunch. After lunch, the group had the freedom to take the train and cable car back to Lauterbrunnen or to walk the trail. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Too expensive, no need for a guide to do this also we ride in train class 2 seats and on the way back we were standing because it was too crowded

your opinion about the price (you booked on Viator). You did not write about the outbound train travel, where you could sit.
The amount of people that travels back from Lauterbrunnen is really outside of our control.
We had a fabulous time and the viator guide Michael was Excellent!! The tour exceeded our expectations in every way ****** Both my husband and I found the views breathtaking. Michael demonstrated a professionalism and depth of knowledge which was exemplary!! We highly recommend this tour!!

The trip was great for the first time travelers like me and my daughter with disability. Tickets to the train, bus, and skyline was prebooked and we did not need to worry about that. The guide took us to the most beautiful places in the valley and on Mountain Majesty. He adjusted the pace of the trip and schedule to my daughter's special needs. I was very pleased with that. However, in my opinion, the cost is overpriced. Actually, that was the most expensive tour I booked in Switzerland. Therefore, if you can, plan and book tickets by yourself, do that.

We met our guide at the designated meeting point at the stated time, and delightfully found out we (my wife and our travel companions, total of four) were the only participants. We immediately headed out and had a very nicely paced day of discovery. This tour included Lauterbrunnen with gondola and train rides up to Murren. The waterfall experience and vistas of this area are indescribable and photos just don't convey the vastness of the surrounding peaks. Our guide was knowledgeable of the area and he was very helpful and interesting to talk to. Overall, a very great day and I would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a small group tour, but nobody booked, so it was only our family of 3. It was more like a private tour.
Our tour guide was very nice.
We skipped Lauterberren and just went to Murren, as we loved playing with snow there. We spent 3 hours in Murren. It was sogood! In winter, I would recommend staying at or visiting Murren.
If you know where you need to go, you really do not need tours for visiting towns. You can do this one on your own.

We were under the impression that this was going to be a group tour, but found out at the meeting site that we were the only ones to sign up. If that was the case we likely would have cancelled, because we like a group tour aspect.
We took the train to Lauterbrunnen and the gondola to Mürren and just walked around the cities. Not activities were done there, just walking and occasionally some facts about the city. We paid over $500 for this tour and could have done this on our own. The only things that needed payment were the train to Lauterbrunnen and the gondola to Mürren, and for my husband and I would have been under $100.
Our tour guide was nice and we had good conversations, but this tour was not worth the amount we paid for it. I see now it is around $300 (so not sure why ours was so expensive i feel like we should get a partial refund or something) but in my opinion, you could buy the tickets on your own and get one of the guides at the train stations.

Let me point out some things you mention:
-you want to travel in a group, but you book a "small group tour"?
-you travelled in a group of three plus the guide - other people like it not to be in a crowd
-you booked this tour on a 4rd party provider - the US tech companies are not reselling our tours for free
-why did you not book it direct with us as the we are the tour operator?
-what kind of activities you expected on a sightseeing tour?
-do you thing, tourguides in Switzerland are working just for peanuts?
Looking over all you wrote on your feedback - you just booked the wrong tour on the wrong platform. We give our customers free time at Mürren, where you could have done some of your "activities" (whatever you mean with that up in the mountains).
For sure you can do Lauterbrunnen & Mürren at your own - just without a guide, without pre-arranged tickets, pre-arranged schedules, and informations from a local guide. It is like everywhere in the world: you can discover things at your own, or you pay for a guide. Most probably you pay a bit more in Switzerland than on other places - yes, Switzerland is a high price country. Please do not complain about things, that we (as a touroperator) can not change.
And once again - I don't know what you paid on your 3rd party provider - please complain on the company you booked and not on us.
We had a nice time visiting both Murren and Laturbrenen. Beautiful little towns.
However our tour guide needed to speak louder and could have shared information about the two towns and the surrounding area.

This was a great tour and the tour guide was really friendly and a great conversationalist. The tour guide answered our many questions regarding the economy and politics in Switzerland. In addition to using cable cars and trains we got to walk a lot which was good exercise. As always, the views were amazing!
