We regret that we cannot write a good review. Our guide was all show and no tell. He would show us the site, but there was no information given about the site, no “tell”. it was like watching paint dry, but not as much fun! We did not learn anything about any place that we visited. There was no enthusiasm or joy in sharing the “Macau Experience.” He did assist us in helping my husband find some old coins. Much appreciation for that, thanks! More training is necessary for the guide: more storytelling, more history, more juicy facts. Make the beauty of Macau come to life! We only had one chance to visit Macau; we expected and deserved the best!!! Our expectations were not met.

Thank you for your effort in writing us a review. We have spoken to our Macau guide regarding to your incident and we would like to apologise on what has happened. It has been super busy for all and especially limited English speaking guides in Macau who had a super busy run of tours throughout the Chinese New Year holidays where there was visitor numbers double of Macau's population. Everyone in the industry was tired from the busy week and happen to be caught with us right in the middle of it. Macau has an interesting history which dates back to the late 1480s with the Portuguese ships finding Macau and the story there goes after. There is a lot to tell and what Macau displays is the perfect example of when "east meets west", this goes everything after the Portuguese have landed since the late 1480s.
What really happened was our guide cannot adjust back to greet American tourists from greeting mainland Chinese tourists throughout this busy week, which a lot of them only require show and not much need to tell.
We already feel the penalty from this incident and hope we can calm you with the refund also. Bottom line is we regret on what has happened, just caught us in a bad time.
There are no other English speaking Macau tour that will do better than us.

It's worth it to think that we shouldn't judge solely on our budget.
I think it's difficult to go to several places by public transportation on our own.
You can go to most of the major places, there is no waste of travel, and it is definitely a recommended plan for those who want to see a lot.
We also had lunch guided by a local shop. Tourist destinations tend to go into safe shops, but I am happy that I can eat local food with my guide. It was full for a long time, maybe because it was a popular restaurant.
The last egg tart I ate was also delicious!️Really delicious‼️It was a great queue, but our guide quickly bought it and we were very enthusiastic.
It was the best sightseeing in Macau.
I enjoyed Macau during the day, so now I wanted to enjoy Macau at night.
