I ended up the only person on the tour and got a delightful adventure through the back streets of Hoi An tasting delicacies I never would have found myself. My guide Vu was very knowledgeable and a delight.

We have been lucky enough to do many foodie tours around the world. I can say without any hesitation, our Hoi An foodie tour with Vu was the best! We felt completely safe at all times with Vu and all food was safe for tourist’s stomachs. This was more than just a foodie tour; whilst walking through the local neighbourhoods, Vu gave an incredibly informative commentary on every day life. Whilst the tour finishes in the touristy old town area, it is actually completed through several local neighbourhoods. We highly recommend this tour. Well done Vu! Excellent job!!!!

Delicious foods that we would have never found!!!! This is a MUST! Our tour guide was excellent and explained all the dishes well! My partner and I both eat Vietnamese a lot and we were introduced to to dishes that we had never had before! Book this excursion!

Super traditional food tour from the first food tour company in Hoi An

Tour was fantastic, visiting the original source of truly original street food in Hoi An, some places operating for over 100 years. These are small, back-alley stalls, often front rooms in multi-generational houses, sampling food you dont really come across in the popular areas. Our tour guide, Tham, was lovely and very knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions on the food and Hoi An more broadly. She took us at a leisurely pace through many narrow lane ways and bustling streets. Was a great experience.

Five star ratings don't often mean a lot - this tour actually deserved five stars. Vu, who is local and has a solid command of English, took us to less common spots, mostly in the new town. Walking along back roads and lantern-lit alleys, he was able to make the crowds disappear for a while and restored some magic to a place that can be a tourist trap. The food was good (banh mi, dumplings, local noodles. Don't eat beforehand, it will be dinner) but the thing he promised, a hidden Hoi An, was what makes this tour worth taking. This tour involves easy walking, and should be possible for almost anyone.
