Review So we have been in Vietnam for 12 days in different tours and experiences, this must be the worst one by far, no comparison. Let’s start with the fact that the tour was supposed to be at 14:30 but they sent us the evening f before that they will pick us up at 13:30 and when we asked why they said because of your hotel address but that wasn’t true cause everyone got picked up at the same time and the market tour started at 13:40-13:45 and for us that was a big inconvenience cause we weee coming from Hué and we had a bus, a hotel and luggage and lunch to arrange beforehand, luckily we managed last second, the problem is that they wouldn’t say they have the wrong time on Viator and just lied to us. Our hotel is in the center of the city. The market tour wasn’t a tour really, it was 15-20 mins of the guide just walking so quickly and talking too quickly about some ingredients they use in Vietnam, we learned nothing and we were just rushing quickly from one place to another, it was a quick grocery shopping rather than a tour. There was no space to absorb what we see or ask questions or anything really. The most disappointing part is the boat, the people on those little boats treat us like children or toys, I genuinely don’t think they understand what a tourist is, the ride wasn’t anything, we literally moved like 100 meters and came back and they wanted us to fish crab, there was plenty of water to go through, it was 3 mins going and 2-3 coming back and 15 mins just sitting there looking at nothing for crab fishing. The cooking class was ok, it is what pushed the review from 1 or 2 to 3 stars, though I would recommend that you book it directly and separately to enjoy it rather than doing also the market tour and bait boat
