This private tour is a walking day tour with meet up in Hiroshima city. A private vehicle is not included. Public transportation or local taxis may be used to transfer between sites. Exact transportation costs can be discussed with the guide after a reservation is finalized. Please have Japanese Yen on hand for your transportation costs. Hiroshima and Onomichi Station are connected by frequent JR Sanyo Line trains (90 min, ticket not included). There are a few direct trains per day, but the trip usually requires a transfer at Itozaki Station. Fully covered by the Japan Rail Pass. No Bicycles Allowed.

Highly recommended tour to Onomichi!

Our tour guide, Mai, was very accommodating. She picked us up at our Airbnb as we weren’t familiar with Hiroshima and didn’t want to get lost. We had a great day with her exploring beautiful Onomichi! Her English is very good so it was easy to communicate. We tried the Onomichi coffee and delicious ramen there and lemon ice cream. At the end of the day, she recommended a great okonomiyaki restaurant in Hiroshima which we went to. It was delicious!!
