- In Yangshuo town, the hotel collection and drop-off area should be within the urban area. For further distances, you need to hire a taxi to the Green Lotus Hotel (碧莲江景酒店).
- If the number of participants are more than 6, we need to transfer to shuttle buses at the scenic area because there is a vehicle restriction for driving up or down the hill. The shuttle bus fee is included in pricing.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

Our Guide Lily was very friendly and helpful. Her english was excellent and she told us very interesting things about the arey. The landscape was amazing. We had bamboo rice and other meat and vegeables wich was very delicious. We had lots of fun preparing the bamboo rice. Our children 8 and 11 had much fun walking trough this beautiful landscape. We loved wearing the rice hats.

Even if the weather does not contribute it’s impossible to not enjoy the journey. The history and fields are amazing! A once and only lifetime experience! Lily our tour guide was exceptional :) very receptive, friendly and told us every single detail about everything! The lunch at the farmers house was awesome and also delicious! I had a excellent time!

This was a great tour. The rice terraces are spectacular no matter what the season. A great view of village life. Great food! A word of warning though: The road is a rough drive up the mountain, so if you have a bad back, consider giving this tour a miss.

The scenery around the rive terraces, including the Ping'An village is very attractive. Our tour was fun and the guide was attentive, although I would encourage her to keep learning about the local history and traditions in order to deliver a more complete overview to the visitors.

This was a day of delights! The rice fields and views were spectacular. The mountain village was really neat and the local ladies show was truly interesting. The lunch meal was tasty and our driver was very pleasant. We stopped for a tea service on the way home that was also quite special.

I did this tour with Hill and it was very enjoyable. Only 3 of us, so we did it by private car. Hill has excellent English and was very knowledgeable . He tailored the tour to our interests. We took the cable car instead of hiking in the heat and I am glad we did as this as it allowed extra time which we used to visit Reed Flute Caves, which was also well worth doing. Great value and a good time !

For sure, one of the best tours we had in China. Very good English speaking and experienced guide who also drives. He brought us first to the show and then to the rice terraces. But we started from spot one which was amazing. We saw beautiful scenes and we didn't go the stairs up! Instead, we had a nice walk from spot one to two about an hour then we walked down the stairs through the village. Only few tours have this brilliant idea and we could take great pictures as it was not busy at the spot one.

Overall a great day, lunch was a lot better than your usual organised tour food, small group was a really good thing, they took us to the best place and dropped us at the top, we saw others walking up which looked awful and really hot and difficult. Nice places for coffee etc on pleasant walk down.

The fact that this was a small-group tour made all the difference, on our trip there was six adults and one child and were transported in a people carrier. There is quite a lot of driving in this tour, the rice terraces are about three hours from Guilin but worth the time. The first part of the tour involved visiting the village of the 'long-haired ladies' which was interesting for about 5 minutes but too many people trying to sell you poor quality items. The lunch was very good, a banquet, but too much and we could not finish it. The guide knows the area well and will pick the best rice terrace to visit dependant on the season. We were then driven up to the top of rice terraces and given instruction and details on the best tracks to take to get back down. This was a great service as it was so hot the climb up would have been hard going. We stopped and had a beer at the top with an amazing view before walking back down to meet up with our guide at the agreed time.

Enjoyed the day, particularly the visit to the rice terraces. Would recommend being dropped off outside the mountain village at the top of the terraces and walking down through the rice terraces into the village.
It would have been helpful to have a small map of the village as signage is not good so it can take some time to find your way onto the main route down to the car park. Simple when you know the route but very easy to take the wrong turn and get lost.
The visit to the ethnic minority village with the long haired women singing was good but this was accompanied by non-stop requests to purchase items outside the hall. One women followed us all the way back to the mini-van trying to get a sale.

This trip was amazing!! I had Hill as my tour guide and driver. He was prompt, on time, friendly, and made sure I was happy with the day. I really lucked out and was the only one that booked the tour for the day so got him to myself! He picked me up around 8:15 and I was back at the hotel by 5:30, so still had time to have an evening. Great trip. He even arranged for my taxi to take me to the airport the next morning at a very reasonable rate. THANK YOU!! The sights were gorgeous and the fields were golden ! The weather was perfect.

Great daytrip! This trip really ensures that you experience the rice terraces in a small group and get away from the big crowd. We also did some cheaper locally booked trips but could really see the high quality of this trip good car, small group, all in English, great lunch

I would highly recommend this tour! I was lucky enough to be the only one who signed up the day I went and had the guide all to myself. The guides name was Mr. Jianng... He spoke perfect English, very welcoming and really helpful with everything overall even with arrangements outside the tour! :)

Chauffeur, tevens privégids. Veel over het leven in China verteld erg interessant!!
Indrukwekkende show in Mountain Village. Helaas door het mindere weer hadden we bijna geen uitzicht op de rijstvelden.
Wel zeer mooie wandeling door de rijstvelden.
