Itinerary

Be ready for convenient pickup at 8am at your Guilin hotel. With your guide and group, travel about 2.5 hours up into the mountain foothills to the Longji Rice Terraces.

Trek into the rice fields, where locals have been cultivating rice for more than six centuries. Learn about the history and culture of the local villagers, made up of the Chinese Zhuang and Yao ethnic minorities. Witness folk singing and dancing performances and admire the unique architectural style of the village homes. Sit down for a Chinese lunch on the mountainside, enjoying the scenery and atmosphere.

Return to your Guilin hotel for drop-off around 6:30pm

Thrilling yet relaxing tour!

This was an overall favorite tour in China for me snd my daughter. The scenery was gorgeous and everything was taken at a nice pace, which makes a big difference. Our tour guide Chase was excellent company, giving explanations, answering questions, but also letting us just have some space to take it all in. The lunch provided was at a local farmers house and was delicious. Everything about this tour was fantastic. I’d do it again! Chase paid excellent attention to our interests and then made special efforts to help us with them, such as taking us to a high quality but affordable pearl shop at the end of the day. We loved shopping here and were taught how to distinguish real pearls from fakes.
