Li River Cruise was a great experience with Jerry our guide. The scenery was amazing and Jerry arranged our tickets and met us after the cruise to take us around Yangshuo town. He also took us to a side trip to the cave and it was also amazing. Thanks to Jerry for recommending it. We enjoyed this tour very much.

Jerry was a wonderful guide for our 2.5 quick days in Guilin & Yangshuo. He was a fantastic communicator prior to the trip, confirming dates & pickup times. He was also very accommodating and adjusted easily for our situation (our trip plans changed at the last minute due to a typhoon). He also gave us suggestions to alter our original plans slightly based on weather, and added in other sights that he thought would be of interest to my kids. Overall, Jerry made our trip to Guilin easy and seamless - 100% recommend!

We had a great day with Jerry escorting us. He arrived when he said he would, obtained the tickets on our behalf and told us exactly what to expect, which made the whole experience far more relaxing. He was there to meet us at the other end of the river trip to take us up the mountain before bringing us back. Jerry did a tremendous job. He was punctual at arriving at our hotel, his car was clean and his driving was really good. At the 4 star cruise terminal he took care of procuring our tickets and he got us excellent seats on the boat. The cruise was wonderful. At Yangshuo wharf Jerry was waiting and he suggested we take an electric scooter ride which was fantastic. On the way back we stopped at the viewing platform where Jerry took took amazing photos before driving us back, delivering us at our hotel on schedule at 6pm. On top of this Jerry was quick and clear with his communication in english. Would highly recommend!

Communication and pick up were great. Jerry speaks very good English and clear Mandarin. He gave information about the boat and the journey and then headed off to Yangshuo as you went into the boat terminal. When we pulled up in Yangshuo, he was there already waiting. We had a walk through the town before heading off to Xianggong hill for the spectacular views and returning to Guilin. Jerry took the stress out of it, buying tickets, being there waiting in Yangshuo and also knowing where to stop off for a quick bite to eat. He also gave good information and could advise on what else to see and do in Guilin. All round a great experience.

Private day trip on the river Li from Guilin

We had a private driver who picked us up at the hotel and delivered us to the dock. The initial cost you see is only for the driver, you then have to pay for the boat which does include lunch. Our driver Jerri was very helpful and had a decent command of English. He escorted us into the building where we waited for the boat and made sure we understood what we had to do. The boat was much better than I thought. Everyone was seated six to a table in the cabin and there was a top deck from where you could watch the scenery and take photos. Just when you thought you had taken all the photos you could another view appeared. It is worth seeing.

Use Alipay first, otherwise you cannot pay. The experience was very nice, partly because the tour operator immediately looked for the best solution. Mr. Robert was fantastic; he took us by car to wonderful places. Keep in mind 350 yuan for the boat and 60 yuan for the excursion.
