    The tour was exactly as...

    Nikki_S, Mar 2026
The tour was exactly as described. Our driver was very knowledgeable of Grand Turk. The communication and directions on finding meeting place were very good. It was a good overview of seeing outside the port area and a chance to feed the donkeys.

    Response from Host, Mar 2026

Exploring beyond the port and into the everyday life of Grand Turk offers a deeper look at the island’s history, landscape, and traditions. Learning about the island while visiting local areas and interacting with the donkeys reflects a side of Grand Turk that is rooted in culture and daily life. As a small family business on a remote island, your words help support the households connected to this work and keep the history, knowledge, and character of Grand Turk present for those who visit. 💛

    Grand Turk- so so

    Evalyn_M, Feb 2026
Great guide! There is not a lot to see on Grand Turk but our guide made it very interesting. We were on a cruise and thought it would be a nice overall view of the island for our entire party, some with limited mobility- which it was.

    Response from Host, Feb 2026

On a small, remote island, the opportunity to open our roads, landmarks, and stories to visitors is a privilege, and our guides—sons and daughters of the soil—are sharing the place that raised them, the traditions they grew up with, and the culture that continues to sustain their families. When that is received with curiosity and appreciation, it supports the people who call Grand Turk home and keeps these experiences alive for those who come after. 💚

Fantastic Exclusive Grand Turk Safari & Island Tour!

    Constance_V, Feb 2026
My husband and I booked the Grand Turk Safari & Island Tour as an excursion for when our ship would be in port on 2/6/26. I booked this tour several months in advance. As stated in the tour description, the meeting place was a short distance from the port and the best route was to follow the beach and walk on the sand. Well, shortly before leaving for our cruise I injured my knee and walking on sand was not an option. And of course I didn't think about this detail until 24 hours before our scheduled tour. I did not want to cancel this tour but wanted to know if they had any suggestions. I reached out to Exclusive Grand Turk Safari & Island Tour, while on the ship via the Viator app, with my concern and they responded almost immediately! Good news! They said they would send a taxi to pick me up at the port's taxi stand. They gave me detailed instructions on where, who and when to meet the driver. I was so happy and impressed! My husband and I met our taxi driver, Trevor, at the taxi stand and he brought us back to the meeting place(the picnic tables on the sand) to pick up the others for the tour. At this location we met Ray. I'm not sure if Ray was the tour company owner, manager, organizer or all of the above but he certainly was a cheerful, welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable young man! Ray got us all organized and sent the group of us(7 or 8 of us?) on our way with taxi driver Trevor, who actually was our tour guide. And Trevor was a fantastic tour guide! Trevor shared so many interesting facts and stories about this tiny beautiful island, and Grand Turk is absolutely stunning! We were each given a bottle of water to quench our thirst and a bag of apples and carrots to feed the donkeys at one of the stops. Trevor gave us instructions on how to feed and navigate the donkeys safely. The van was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great! I can't say enough good things about this tour, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see and learn about beautiful Grand Turk. Thank you Ray and Trevor!!!

Stories like this reflect the heart of Grand Turk hospitality. When communication is quick, adjustments are made with care, and guests are still able to explore the island, it speaks to the pride local teams take in sharing their home. Learning about the island’s history, feeding the donkeys, and hearing stories along the way carries forward traditions that have shaped this place for generations. Voices like yours support the families who guide these experiences and help keep Grand Turk’s culture visible to those who visit. 💛

    Questionable excursion

    Carolyn_P, Dec 2025
Trevor, the tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and understandable. The van used by our group of 6, IMO, was not in a condition that would be considered adequate for use as a tour excursion vehicle. The amount spent for the excursion was not a good value either.

    Response from Host, Dec 2025

A BIG hello from Grand Turk, We’re glad Trevor’s knowledge, approachability, and care were felt during your time on the island. Our land tours are guided by residents who live this place daily, and that lived experience is central to how the island is shared. Transportation on Grand Turk operates within a coastal environment shaped by salt air, sun, and constant exposure. Vehicles are selected for safety, reliability, and suitability for island roads rather than cosmetic presentation. The marks of use reflect daily operation in a marine climate where function takes priority over finish. Value on a small island is measured differently than in larger destinations. Land tours here provide access to local knowledge, historic sites, and community perspective, while supporting drivers, maintenance crews, fuel suppliers, and families whose livelihoods depend directly on tourism. Each excursion contributes to keeping these experiences available on an island with limited infrastructure and fewer than 5,000 residents. For those considering a land tour, we encourage reading through the many guest reflections that describe the experience as a whole — guide connection, island context, and the opportunity to see Grand Turk through local eyes. Taken together, they offer a broader understanding than any single moment viewed in isolation. —Exclusive Escapes Grand Turk

Thank you for choosing to explore Grand Turk beyond the shoreline. 🌿 This Land Tour holds a special place in our hearts because it gives guests the chance to connect with the soul of the island—its people, history, and everyday magic. 💫 As a Land Tour guest, your voice helps others see Grand Turk in a deeper way. Ended up being a private...

    Richard_M, Feb 2025
Ended up being a private tour as others canceled on the day. They honored our reservation and so we ended up with a private tour which was fantastic. The stops were as described, we highly recommend.
