I can truły recommend this activity . The ride took place in mountains on the steep terrain with great views. The instructors are well organized and helpful. Horses well suited for a group stroll . Even beginners would easily cope with this adventure.

Loved the experience and thought the care for the horses was excellent. I was a beginner and my partner experience and we both enjoyed ourselves. The horses are well behaved and felt safe.

If this is "the best horse riding in Gran Canaria", I don't like to think what the others are like.
First off, the main guide was rude. I appreciate she has a job to do in ensuring everyone is safe on the ride, but she showed no interest in talking personably to anyone. As someone who rocked up alone, it would have been nice to have some kind of group intro or for her to make a little effort.
The horses were beautiful, but I felt concern for a couple of them who really didn't behave like they wanted to be out. The one in front of me on the ride was very uncomfortable - it kept stopping, trying to bite the riders feet, and was clearly very tired. The one I was on was also tired and kept stopping. His eyes looked sad. The guide told me he's just "lazy" but it was more than that. Maybe he was old or just not in the mood that day, I will never know. But I left feeling upset.
The ride itself was very boring. They took us on a loop around some rocky terrain, and only two of us got to trott (for less than a minute) and gallop (once). The ad explicitly says this activity is suitable for beginners AND experienced riders - I think not. And I'm not an experienced rider by any means.
Absolutely would not recommend. Unless you are someone who doesn't mind a chilled walk on a horse, with a guide who doesn't make you feel comfortable.

Never been on a horse before and pretty afraid of them to be honest but thoroughly enjoyed the trek. Booked it last minute for the following day and received my pick up details early the next morning. 2 hours is a long time on a horse for a novice but I’m really glad I done it and the horses are well looked after and big and strong

We booked this for a bit of fun having never ridden before we were a party of two adults and our 18 year old son. We had a great time and the transfer was spot on can’t fault at all a bit set up but very well promised and the horses were clearly loved by all

A cool experience from the point of view of someone who had never tried horse riding before. A quick lesson, friendly staff, and hotel transfer included. If you think two hours might be too short, trust me — it’s more than enough 😅. They could offer more themed souvenirs though, the selection was quite limited.

The nicest trip, I have horses back home in Scotland but love riding abroad. The horses are well looked after. We had a lovely trail and I even got to canter/gallop as I was more experienced. Will recommend and do again in a heart beat when back in Gran Canaria.

The hotel pickup was good, with clear instructions from the start of the booking.
The staff are very knowledgeable on all the the horses and ponies in their care, and matched the group up well according to their abilities.
The route takes you over some rough and stoney terrain but the horses are obviously used to this as they were very sure footed.
Our group was quite large with the slower riders at the front which was quite frustrating when the rider infront of you doesn't know how to keep their pony moving forwards so it was very stop start. Smaller groups with similar abilities would probably work better.
Although the horses looked well cared for I got the impression that some had become a little stale with their job.
The girls that took us out were very good and looked after everyone well.
Jodhpur boots are available to rent for €3 well worth it I'm my opinion.

A thoroughly enjoyable 2hr trek into the hills with a fabulous views. The horses are experienced in what they do and therefore no experience is needed. I would definitely recommend.

Great riding experience for beginners. Horses were well behaved and very little riding on the road, just to and from the sables. Ridden here before in gran canaria and will do again when we return. First time on a horse for our daughter and although very nervous at the start after a 2 hour ride she loved it. Thank you

I was already on many different horseback riding tours and this one was definitely not on my upper half scale
The ground is very bad for the horses to walk on and not as relaxing to enjoy when horse keeps stumbling

Loved this experience-- very well organized with safe opportunities according to skill level. I had never ridden English style (only Western) and the kind guides helped me learn along the way! The scenery is beautiful and we stopped for photos a few times. Loved it all!

Although stark scenery it's still impressive. I just like being on a horse for a couple of hours. I really enjoyed my ride with the instructors stopping to advise those less experienced how to ride up and down step slopes for rider and horse wellbeing. My daughter's horse was a bit playful turning and trying to chew on its reins, which made her a little more nervous. Although she was reassured a couple of times. Unfortunately after the safety briefing where we were told horses may be tempted to roll to cool down, and to keep the horses head up if it goes to sniff the ground (a precursor to rolling) a riders horse did roll and she hurt her knee and did not ride. On returning I asked how she was, and it was sad that she said she had received no attention and not offered first aid of an ice pack, her account. I offered to ask for her but she declined as we were leaving for hotel. I would have expected better care had I been in her position, that said, I would've asked for it. I would still go again though, a lot of care was taken in matching the horses and riders compared to other stables I've taken trips with. Thank you

Family of 5 riding from the ages 9 / 16 /17 / 46 / 47 beginner with the youngest 2 never riden before. The instructors knew they're horses very well and placed them with the riders perfectly 👌. A great ride through the Gran Canaria terrain. Very happy allround and big shout to the pickup and drop off service.

Was initially apprehensive about riding a horse but the guides were great, friendly and reassuring. My friend’s 8 year old was scared as hell but the guides were amazing with him. I highly recommend especially if you have some fear but always wanted to try. I guarantee you’ll be glad you did.

Everything about this horse riding was amazing. The two ladies running it gave a talk about what to do with the horses and instructions for the complete beginners and advice on the walk. Everyone was well looked after. I wanted to do some trotting with mine as I wasn’t a complete beginner and my horse Casino was lovely. My daughter who is a complete beginner had Lucifer and she was happy. Lovely scenery on the walk. Very professionally done. Horses well cared for and we could go round and see them all before it all started. Would I go again. Oh yes I would have if it hadn’t been done on our last day. Thank you for making the experience so wonderful and catering for all riding abilities, making this enjoyable for all. Enjoyed it totally.

Absolutely amazing trip, can’t suggest it enough. The horses were really well cared and my horse Kabul was just perfect for me. They assign you horses based on your level of experience, so I enjoyed having one with a bit more spark than just a lazy trail horse. The guides are awesome and will explain the basics to you so you don’t hurt the horse by accident if you’ve never ridden before.
My only tiny thing was there was a lot of stopping and starting waiting for the slower folk to catch up, so splitting into two groups would be perfect, but I understand that’s not always an option.
Would definitely go again when we return!

It was a fantastic ride, we enjoyed every minute of it! We trotted a little up the hill and some of us even galopped. At one point one of the horses was a little bit scared, but the guide was ready and she handled the situation quickly, effectively and professionally. Overall it was a perfect experience, we recommend it!
