The jeep ride to the start of the falls is extremely long and arduous. Once you are dropped off, there is a 20 minute walk over a rough difficult terrain. Once at the falls actually getting into the water is very dangerous. Frail or elderly should be advised not to go. Falls themselves are breathtakingly beautiful.
The reason for giving a 4 not a 3 is because we then went on to the spice plantation, where we received a warm welcome, had a fabulous meal and were toured around the plantation by a very knowledgeable guide.

Hi the trip is def worth doing however I would do a separate trip if you plan on seeing wildlife as the jeep safari was enclosed and the driver drove far too fast to see anything. There were plenty of monkeys about though. The waterfalls were impressive and nice walk through the reserve. Breakfast was good (pay yourself) and lunch lovely (included). The spice place was great though take mosquito spray as we got badly bit. There was opportunity so do extra activities also so take some cash. The tour guide had bad body odour and stopped talking in English early on just saying random words and seemed unhappy when I asked him to explain. The driver was a bit unfriendly also so we didn’t feel bad not leaving a tip as we would usually do but I didn’t see anyone else tipping either. The other people on the trip were nice and it was good to do something different.
Edward_R, Dec 2025
Nice spices and Great lunch. Kind guide Rehmat. On time and good explanations.
The waterfalls were a Nice experience, and sure Homans experience it with these operators.
Raj_P, Dec 2025
Very bad. We booked for hotel pickup but got message night before the trip that we had to travel to a needing point in North Goa and there would be no hotel pick up. Clearly not acceptable behavior from a reputable service provider. As a result we did not get to go on the trip at all.
Pedro_C, Dec 2025
The waterfall 100% worth the visit, spices plantation not so much and be aware if mosquitos... The tour itself very disappointing as I booked a English tour but all the information by the guide was delivered in local lingo so not what I have booked at all, plantation guide was delivered in English which was good... But very disappointed with main guide who completely ignored it was a English booked tour which ended up not so sure what was the plan as I was left behind of the plans due to not understanding the local lingo.
Akash_R, Feb 2025
Unique site to visit for a great experience to see the largest waterfalls in India. You got ample time to go and enjoy the waterfalls.
MargaretK_S, Feb 2025
Very welll organized with polite driver and guide. Don't forget to take your swimming suits and change of clothes as you can swim under the falls. Go early to beat the rush. Be mindfull of the walk to the falls on stony pathway, not for the fainthearted :-). The lunch is excellent plus there are clean washrooms, drinking water at the lunch place.
Nabiha_K, Feb 2025
Fun experience to see the falls and spice plantation. Far if coming from North Goa, felt like we spent more time on the bus traveling than at the sites; had 1 hour at the falls (to walk up, swim, and walk back); had one hour at the spice plantation to eat lunch and then tour the plantation. Total tour time was about 8 hours. Spice tour was interesting but a bit underwhelming if you have been on other spice tours. Staff was, however, friendly and kept the group informed of all the happenings.
Leigh_Q, Jan 2025
From the start all descriptions about this are a little off. Even though our hotel was listed in the pick up selection we were told we were not central enough and had to get a taxi to the pick up point. The bus for the tour was rather old, most seats were broken, it was very noisy and bumpy. The 2 activities listed as mollem national park and waterfall are really just one. It's a 45 minute jeep ride from hell to the waterfall. The jeep ride is extremely uncomfortable, fitting 7 people in (do no sit in the back benches those are the worst) the falls them selves are nice though. The spice planation is a bit of an oversell, we did get a very nice small tour of a demo garden and talked about the different spices, which was great but not really what was advertised, and we had what was the most disappointing curry or our whole trip for the lunch (I'd have though the spice planation would provide some flavour). Overall would not recommend this tour, it seems like costs are cut at opportunity which make it a rather disappointing day.
Paul_V, Jan 2025
Great view of a big waterfall , excellent view. Jeep travel to the waterfall is not so great. The road to waterfall needs an upgrade
Siddharth_V, Dec 2024
My experience was not a good one. First of all, the bus we were in was an older bus compared to other buses owned and operated by Fernandes Tours we saw during the day who were on same tour as us.
Secondly, the boat ride in crocodile river took much longer than promised 30 minutes due to an operational issue - the boat first didn't start easily but then stopped twice during the ride. As a result, the ride did not end until 2:30 PM leaving only 30 minutes for activities and lunch (we were told before reaching spice plantation that the bus would depart back at 3 PM).
We had 4 activities purchased before reaching the spice plantation (Nandanvan) costing approx. 1,200 rupees. Earlier, we were told that the bus would leave at 3 PM sharp, hence, to ensure that we eat timely and make it to the bus before departure, we requested the staff at Nandanvan for a refund. They were uncooperative and refused the refund and asked us to talk to the tour guide.
I couldn't find the tour guide at the plantation and to avoid wasting time further, we ate food. When we eventually met the tour guide [after returning his missed call (from 2:49 PM) at 2:51 PM], he said we have until 3:40 PM and that we could do the activities afterwards but no refund would be issued. I wish he had informed us that earlier because we had finished food by then and it was not possible to do activities like giant swing or zip lining (which had longer wait time) with a child in the group.
To avoid any arguments, we chose to keep quite and let the money go waste.
It would have been better for either plantation or the tour guide to give us the refund for activities we didn't do and missed without our mistske.
Coming back to the tour itself, I personally do not think making a day trip to Dudhsagar including a 50 minutes jeep ride on an unpaved dirt road and then round trip walk to the waterfall from drop off point is worth it becuase there are not roads and you have to walk over uneven stones. It was tiring and would be difficult for someone who has body pain issues or have younger kids. The food at the plantation had both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options but the taste was just okay and the tour of plantation was not included.
Nevertheless, I would not recommend doing this day trip.

Never book through Viator when in India ; the partner vendors they work with are cheaters. We had our booking to be picked up at 630 am and they claim they called us at 6:21 am and us not responding they left without us . We paid a premium cost for this trip of $80.00 and is not being refunded . The vendor partner get paid more by their local
Partners looks like so they find ways to dupe you when booked through Viator . Goa town in India is very expensive and have to depend on these cheat vendors
Carol_V, Nov 2024
The waterfall was lovely, plenty of time allowed to either swim or sit and reflect. And met some lovely people. Lunch was nice and well organized. The guide only spoke to the group in Indian dialect so I never knew what was happening. There is alot of waiting around after events as the bus driver kept disappearing. New tour of old Goa and didn't see a spice plantation. The spice tour was in a demo garden fir 20 minutes, guide was good, but the tour said we would see as spice plantation. Wouldn't recommend this tour

I booked the full day tour of dudhsagar waterfalls at short notice less than one day before and it was all booked and went very well. Great trip
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Dear Lynn_C,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that your full-day tour of Dudhsagar Waterfalls, Old Goa, and the Spice Plantation went smoothly, especially with such short notice.
Your kind words truly motivate us to keep improving and providing memorable experiences for our guests. We're glad you enjoyed your trip and look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in the future.
Warm regards,
Justine_B, Nov 2024
The coach was late after getting up at 5am.. The trip was an enjoyable day and although it was long, we didn’t have enough time in the locations to really enjoy them, it felt rushed. The lunch was tasty & nobody was poorly from it. We didn’t get to see a Goan village as the trip description says.
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Dear Justine_B,
Thank you for your honest feedback and for rating your experience on the Full-Day Tour of Old Goa, Dudhsagar Falls, and the Spice Plantation. We're pleased to know you enjoyed parts of the day, including the meal, and that everything was handled with care.
We understand that a 3-star experience means there were aspects that didn’t fully meet your expectations, particularly regarding the time spent at each location. Covering these remarkable sites in one day does require travel over considerable distances, and we aim to provide as much exposure to each as possible. However, your feedback about the pacing is valuable, and we’ll certainly evaluate how we might allow for more time at each stop without compromising the overall experience.
Thank you once again for helping us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more relaxed, fulfilling journey in the future.
Warm regards,
Team Tripbea
Rochelle_B, Nov 2024
This would have been a good trip but the tour guide only spoke to the Indians in their language and then we were quickly shuffled through with minimal direction. When we got to the falls we waited about 15 minutes for our jeep, it then took 45 minutes on a very bumpy road to arrive. Once you leave your jeep it takes 30 minutes to get to the waterfall and swimming pool below it and it’s very busy so by the time you change you literally have 10 minutes to swim as you only get 90 minutes there 🙈🙈 you have travelled in total 3 hrs 15 minutes for that !! It is beautiful but really !!! The Spice Plantation is brilliant ( you need your insect repellent though) but very interesting. They didn’t even stop in old Goa as it said in the intinerey !!!
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Dear Rochelle_B,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on the Full-Day Tour of Old Goa, Dudhsagar Falls, and the Spice Plantation. We’re pleased to know you found the Spice Plantation engaging and the waterfall beautiful.
We understand that a 2-star experience indicates room for improvement, particularly around communication and the time spent at Dudhsagar Falls. The 90-minute time allocation at the waterfall is indeed regulated by local authorities, and we have limited control over this aspect. We aim to ensure our guests make the most of the available time, and we’ll work with our team to enhance the flow and communication for a smoother, more inclusive experience.
We also apologize for not being able to include Old Goa as listed; your feedback is invaluable as we review our itinerary to ensure it consistently reflects the experiences we advertise.
Thank you again for helping us identify these areas for improvement. We hope we’ll have the chance to welcome you back for a more seamless adventure in the future.
Warm regards,
Team Tripbea

This was a lovely day trip to the waterfalls and spice plantation. The waterfalls were so refreshing to swim in and the Buffett at the spice plantation was good. No food poisoning lol. The bus driver was using his phone a lot when he was driving, but that is just India in general.
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Dear Richard_G,
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review! We’re thrilled that you had such a refreshing and enjoyable day exploring Dudhsagar Falls and the Spice Plantation. It’s fantastic to hear that the swim was invigorating and that you enjoyed the buffet at the plantation—a truly authentic taste of Goa!
We also appreciate your feedback about the bus driver and will certainly ensure our team keeps safety top of mind at all times. Your insights motivate us to strive for even higher standards as we continue creating memorable and seamless experiences for our guests.
Thank you once again for sharing your experience, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!
Warmest regards,
Team Tripbea

The tour was fine apart from the buffet at the spice plantation which gave me the worst food poisoning I have ever had., Emergency doctor who my hotel had to call confirmed this. Also no Old Goa tour as the churches were closed.
Reshma_A, Apr 2024
Really one of the poorly organized trips ever. Nothing was as in the description.
Pickup: There is no pickup from hotel. They just have fixed pickup points. The organizers gave us a point was 20-25 mins away on an National Highway. When I pointed to the driver to give us a different location since it's not safe to walk across NH. His reply was 'Its not an intentional highway and we always do our pickups here'. Pedestrian rules; who? Pushing tourists with little knowledge of the local language and infrastructure to impede the traffic on highway and break common sense rules should never happen. We were picked up on the side of national highway. The bus was littered with bottle caps , wrappers.
Tour language: The description said English available, but on reaching the destination the driver gave instructions exclusively only in Hindi. The instructions were also not complete. He never told us about the checkpoints and the instructions on the card to swipe at the checkpoint. When we asked for him to repeat in English, he scoffed and laughed it off. I had to translate his fast paced Hindi with my limited knowledge of the language to my partner. It's ok not to know a certain language but why advertise what you cannot deliver.
At dudhsagar: the driver asked us to give him cash to pay to the drivers. Which we already had paid for. When we pointed that he had to organize it himself; he said it was fault of organizers and he is just trying to help. We waited for over 30 mins just waiting for one of the people on the tour to arrange money on behalf of the organizers to arrange for the cash to pay the safari drivers.
We saw not even a butterfly on the safari. The falls were beautiful and we got 1.5 hrs to enjoy.
Spice plantation meal was ok.
Skip this. This trip isn't worth.
Lars_G, Mar 2024
The Tour started on time unfortunately that changed as a few people on the tour thought that timings would not apply to them. Nothing the tour guide could have done apart from leaving them behind which was properly no option. Trip was beautiful and the spice farm was more interesting then I would have had imagined.
jemmaleigha, Feb 2024
This is really a great experience. Jeep safari through the jungle to the waterfall with monkeys everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend this for any one with mobility concerns, the jeep is an ‘off roading’ experience and is very bumpy. To get to the waterfall there’s a little walk with rough terrain. To get down to the waterfall you have to climb down some rocks. The tour company staff were fab. Coach was lovely, full AC and super clean.
Response from Host, Feb 2024

The whole experience was so memorable.
The guide was so helpful and polite.
Loved the waterfalls and had enough time to watch the cheeky monkeys.
Loved the spice plantation so interesting and the buffet style lunch was amazing although we would have liked a little more time there.
Old goa was nice but the 15 mins we had there was far to short.
Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone of all ages.
Response from Host, Jan 2024

We are thrilled to hear that your overall experience was so memorable! Our team takes great pride in providing helpful and polite guides to enhance your journey, and we're delighted that you enjoyed the waterfalls and the playful monkeys.
It's wonderful to know that the spice plantation tour was not only interesting but also that you relished the buffet-style lunch. Your feedback regarding the duration of the visit is valuable, and we appreciate your input. We'll certainly take this into consideration for future improvements.
We understand the time constraints at Old Goa, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the limited time spent there. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we're grateful that you would suggest our tour to individuals of all ages.

The Dudhsagar Falls was grand. But the tour operator refused to pick me at my Marriott hotel. So I had to walk to a meeting point in the early hours of the morning.
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Hi Rahul,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're delighted to hear that you found the Dudhsagar Falls grand and appreciate your acknowledgment of this natural wonder.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced regarding the pickup location. As mentioned in our tour details, we provide pickups from designated hotel locations due to various logistical considerations. Some hotels, including Marriott, are situated in areas with narrow lanes, making it challenging for our group tour vehicles to maneuver effectively.
In the interest of ensuring a smooth and timely pickup for all participants, we establish central meeting points accessible by our vehicles. We understand that the early morning walk to the meeting point may have been inconvenient, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
To offer a more personalized and flexible experience, we recommend considering our private tour options, where pickups from specific hotels are guaranteed, providing greater convenience for our guests.
We value your feedback, and it serves as an opportunity for us to improve our services. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your tour and would welcome the chance to serve you again in the future, perhaps with a private tour for added convenience.
Thank you for choosing us, and we appreciate your understanding.
Lindsey_B, Dec 2023
Watching the train travel over the falls. The experience of the falls was one to highly recommend although the guide was average. He left the coach on the way back before the guests departed. Little communication but at the end of the day if you just want transportation organised including the jeep to the falls then it was acceptable. (If just for the experience would have been 5 stars)
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we appreciate your valuable feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found the Dudhsagar Falls to be a beautiful and highly recommended sight, especially with the unique experience of watching the train travel over the falls.
We're sorry to learn that the quality of the guiding fell below your expectations. Providing informative and engaging guidance is a key aspect of our tours, and we apologize for any shortcomings in this regard. Your comments will be addressed with our team to ensure improved communication and service in the future.
We understand the importance of a cohesive experience, and we regret any inconvenience caused by the guide's early departure. Rest assured, we are actively working to enhance our communication protocols and overall guest experience.
Your feedback is crucial to our continuous improvement, and we genuinely appreciate your honest assessment. If there are specific aspects you believe we can focus on for improvement or if you have additional comments, please feel free to share. We value your patronage and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again with an enriched experience.
Thank you for choosing our tour, and we wish you many more memorable adventures in your travels.

I had booked this tour because it stated that it would be in English which it wasn’t. The majority of instructions were given in Hindi or Konkani and sometimes given to me in English by the tour director. Luckily there were some great people in my tour group who were able to answer my questions. The jeep ride to the falls was a lot of fun and it was a beautiful location to experience.

Still waiting on a refund, my trip was cancelled -Inwas told a refund would occur within 72 hours, this still has not happened
Alexandra_C, Jan 2023
Our guide, Rahman, did not acknowledge or speak to us in English at all, despite being fluent in English. We were given no instructions, information or timings, and missed the first stop completely because we were not informed of what the stop was for. He spoke in his native language to the rest of the guests for the duration, leaving us feeling particularly excluded. We had to approach him directly to get any directions, and even these were given reluctantly. Being the only two native English speakers, he tried to separate us on to different jeeps, and did not appreciate it when we refused. By the time we got to the waterfalls (again with no information, background or history about the area), he told us he would speak to us in the car park rather than speak to us on the bus. When we reached the spice plantation, we were handed over to another guide who spoke in English to the entire group, who were all comfortable and happy with this - making it apparent that Rahman made no effort. Despite the beauty of the area, and the amazing waterfall, the trip was ruined by the lazy attitude of the guide. We have been on numerous trips in different areas of India (including Delhi and Mumbai) and have never had such poor treatment. It could not have been clearer that we were not included on the tour.
Yasmin_A, Nov 2022
The waterfalls were definitely worth the treacherous walk and bumpy jeep ride! It was very busy however the early morning pick up was worth it as it meant you’re not waiting in a very long jeep queue at peak time which seemed to be about lunchtime. Clearly a very popular spot in Goa. The Spice plantation was very interesting, the tour guide was great and shared a lot of useful knowledge. Also we had the opportunity to buy some of the spices talked about at the end. Definitely recommend this tour.
Aayush_T, Nov 2022
Treated like cattle, very disorganized. Long wait times. Left the tour midway and came back to hour hotel ourselves
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Dear Guest,
We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience. This is something we don't want our guests to experience on the tour. However, The tour you booked is the most visited place in Goa currently, there are very limited Jeep Safari per day and it gets crowded in the morning to get the allotment. The jeep allotment is managed by the local authority and not in our control, and due to the technical glitch online allotment is not working, hence the chaos.
We have taken your feedback and will act upon it, however, we would suggest booking a private tour to have the flexibility and a leisure experience instead of the group tour.

You can not trust the company Trip Bea. First they moved the tour from October 29, 2022 to October 30, 2022. But they did not never pick us up at October 30. We were waiting for a couple of hours and no one contacted us. And it is not possible to get in contract to Viator.
I will never more book tours thought Viator.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Dear Guest,
We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience. This is something we don't want our guests to experience on the tour. The Waterfalls were closed on Oct 29, 2022 due to an accident at the national park a week earlier, hence we shifted the tour to Oct 30, after getting a confirmation from you.
For 30th Oct, we sent details on the phone number of the pick-up point and time on the phone number from which you called on 28th Oct. We tried calling as well in the morning, however, there was no response.
Due to miscommunication, we weren't able to take you on the tour. We realized our mistake and we issued a FULL REFUND for this booking immediately.
We look to rectify our mistake and look forward to serving you in the future.
