Walking through memory lane

The pick-up and drop-off spot was excellent, the main Panjim Post Office, which is a historical building itself…so a nice start to the tour. Our guide Adolfina is passionate and knowledgeable about the architecture styles, history of the area. A nice touch was the snacks served…very authentic Goan tea snacks. Another nice touch was visiting the home of a Goan. It wasn’t a museum they actually lived there and all the antiques were well maintained and Aires was proud and pleased to explain how those antiques were used in a traditional Goan home in the past. Enjoyable walk in a colourful part of Panjim.

Very interesting. Leroy Fernandez was brilliant. Very attentive to our comfort. The giant snacks were delicious. The 1 hour tour of an authentic old Gian home was fascinating and insightful.

We did a great heritage tour with the lovely Adolfina. Adolfina not only knows everything about Fontainhas but is also a walking history book which gives you a very good picture of Goa in world history. We were privileged to. A beautiful old Portuguese house to visit and have met many residents in the neighborhood because Adolfina really knows everyone. We also got a delicious surprise in the oldest bakery of the district. It was an educational and fun walk. I would recommend everyone to do this tour and ask about Adolfina.

Il s'agit d'une visite du quartier avec un volet authentique comprenant des anecdotes, une collation de saveurs locales et des surprises. Il s'agissait de ma première visite à Goa et de ma première activité pour découvrir Panaji. Elle connaissait bien son quartier et ainsi que ça culture. Je recommande cette visite à tous :)
