    An amazing bit of history with a spooky touch

    from the moment you arrived at the location, you were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The host offered drinks and snacks around a bonfire, which was a lovely touch. The the hayride was positively breathtaking as you had an opportunity to travel amongst the property which coincidentally was part of the battlefield of the Civil War. They even took you back to the lake on their property. What was fantastic is that this is the only tour in Gettysburg that permits visitors to be on a battlefield area after dark. What I enjoy the most is that the hosts did not focus purely on paranormal content, but rather about the history of the battle on their property as well as experiences that they have had since taking ownership of the property. For those that are seeking a little spooky, you do have an opportunity to use paranormal ghost hunting equipment as well. I just truly enjoy the whole ambience of the experience and this is definitely something that Gettysburg needs more of. I have traveled to Gettysburg every year multiple times and have had an opportunity to participate in almost every tour that they have available, and I can say without hesitation that this was the absolute best tour and the most reasonably priced the host made you feel like you were coming home to hang out with friends. I certainly look forward to my next opportunity to visit their Homestead again in the future on one of their tours.

    This ghost tour was more relational and engaging than most ghost tours I have been on. If you want to engage with ghosts while learning history instead of just learn about them, this is the tour for you!
