The trip safely and comfortably got us from Fez to Tangier, with a four hour stop in Chefchaouen. Our driver Mohcine did a good job making sure we got to the right building when we arrived in Tangier and spoke to the guard who only spoke Arabic to clear up any confusion. The one hour tour of Chefchaouen was insightful, and the three hours of free time to explore the Medina was all we needed.

Clean car, knowledgeable driver. The tour guide in Chefchaouen was informative without being crazy long. So still decent amount of time to explore on your own.

Tour guide left us behind!

When we first started the tour and the guide walked so fast with the rest of the group and totally left us behind and we couldn’t even see them and we completely lost. The official guide on our bus did finally come up with another guide to give us a private tour, which was nice. But it was completely irritating to be wandering around for at least 30 minutes. One irritating day.

Chefchaouen muse-see on way from Fes to Tangier

Chefchaouen is amazing and well worth the trip when traveling from Fes to Tangier. Abdul was our guide, Mohammed our driver. Both were enjoyable and friendly with a local guide in Chefchaouen. Straightforward and sufficient service from guide and driver. The highlight is the lively city of Chefchaouen. If you need to get from Fes to Tangier, why not stop there?

Good way to visit chefchaouen while going to tangier

Overall it was fine, the back seat of the car is quite cramped but they delivered what is expected. There were a couple of car switches and efficiency could be improved

Great way to combine sightseeing with transport

Fes-Chefchaouen took about 4 hours. We were met by a local guide who took us around to see the sights. The tour lasted about 3 hours and ended with lunch at a busy restaurant (due to Eid). We got lots of beautiful pictures despite it being a bit af a tourist trap. After that we were driven in a van to Tangier to catch our train to Casablanca. It was not advertised that there was going to be a guide in Chefchaouen, which was a bit of a surprise. It would have been nice to have 1-2 hours free time in addition to the guided tour. The transport from Chefchaouen to Tangier was a bit slow, but I think the driver was just being extra cautious. Overall a great excursion.
