There are many great snorkeling spots around Puerto Rico, but this tour will take you to one of the best, off the island of Culebra. In between enjoying lunch and complimentary drinks, make two snorkeling stops where you can jump off-board and explore the underwater world. Great trip. The crew was very helpful, fun, and knowledgeable. The beach in Culebrita was a nice surprise, in my opinion was a cooler experience than Flamenco beach. Saw lots of fish snorkeling and the guides pointed me in the direction of interesting species. The parrotfish was my favorite. Lunch and drinks were great, we were served at La Tortuga beach in Culebrita. 10/10 trip would highly recommend.

We had such an amazing experience with Captain Chris and his crew! From the moment we stepped on the boat until the moment we left, the communication and service were excellent. The entire crew was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable and having a great time.
The snorkeling was one of the highlights! What made it even better was how knowledgeable the crew was. They didn’t just put us in the water, they took the time to point things out, explain what we were seeing, and show us some really cool things underwater. That extra attention made the experience so much more memorable.
We also loved being taken to a beautiful, more private island. It wasn’t overcrowded, so we were able to relax, enjoy the water, and really take in the beauty of Puerto Rico without dealing with a packed beach.
And the food was surprisingly good! Even though it was a sandwich-style buffet, everything was fresh and delicious, the chicken salad was especially good! The fruit was fresh, the drinks kept flowing, and the crew made sure everyone was taken care of.
Overall, it was a fantastic day from beginning to end. Captain Chris and his crew truly made the experience special. Don’t book this tour unless you’re okay with last-minute cancellations and zero communication. Our tour was canceled without any notice, so we came all the way to the shop only to find out there was no tour that day. There was no apology at all. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Overall this was a great excursion. Note you don’t have to be at the place till 9am. They tell you 8am because people miss the boat. Just fair warning.
The captain of boat actually took us to a more private island. Each which was AWESOME. Flamenco was crowded. The crew was great. You could tell they loved their job. They even went swimming with us.
The snorkeling wasn’t great. Don’t expect to see sea turtles as there were no grass just the coral. Did see some fish.
Food and drink hit the spot. Crew was very helpful and accommodating.
Would recommend. I suggest bringing your own snorkel gear. Only need to bring a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and dry clothes for ride back.

The day that our trip was scheduled, the seas were 5 to 6 feet with winds up to 20 miles an hour. The trip should have been rescheduled or canceled like every other company did that day! Instead without any caution, the trip moved forward. We weren’t even able to be in the water snorkeling for 15 minutes because the currents were so strong. There was no regard for people getting tossed around on the trip out and back! To say this was a disappointment is an understatement! For the money that we paid, we got nothing but a lunchmeat sandwich and 1 8 ounce piña colada because they ran out! At worst, we should’ve been given the option to reschedule, knowing that the weather was such that it was. There should have been a refund at the Very least!

Captain and staff were super friendly great conversation for any downtime for anybody that doesn’t want to do the snorkeling activity.
Shut up great expectations and made everybody feel safe.
The boat was slightly smaller, but in a good way, it was more private than the other boats that I’ve seen. Highly recommend

Experience was great as we got to do a couple of different activities. The snorkeling experience was nice and good for kids and the beach was beautiful. Food and drinks were great. Just be aware that the trip to arrive and return is greater than 1 hr so you spend quite a bit of time in travel. We would have like to spend more time with the snorkeling and especially the beach time (only 45 min to 1 hr spent on each). Staff was welcoming and interactive.

I had a blast, the boat ride was a little choppy but it was totally worth it. Got to see some cool fishes and coral while snorkeling, the water was perfect. The beach trip also gorgeous! Got to go to Flamenco Beach and it was probably the most beautiful beach I’ve been too. The staff was fun and helpful as well. Making sure everyone was accounted for at all times. Would definitely recommend.

We booked this excursion last minute through Viator. The online booking instructions specifically said to call and text if a gluten-free meal was needed, so we did both. Unfortunately, no one responded. When we arrived, our messages hadn't even been read. To their credit, the staff did make an effort to find gluten-free bread, but we were charged an additional $6 for two slices.
Check-in was confusing. We were told to wait outside while everyone else left. No one explained where we were supposed to go next. Thankfully, we went back inside to ask, and only then were we told to drive around the corner to meet everyone else. Had we not asked, we likely would have missed the boat.
The boat itself was clean, and the four crew members were courteous upon arrival.
The ride out was extremely rough. Many passengers were frightened, several were crying, and numerous people became seasick and vomited. Because of the conditions, we did not make it to Flamenco Beach, according to the captain.
I chose not to snorkel and remained on the boat. After everyone else entered the water, the captain apparently assumed the boat was empty and began smoking a cigarette onboard. This was surprising because we had specifically been told on shore that smoking on the vessel was strictly prohibited.
The ride back was even more disappointing. The captain appeared to be more interested in flirting with one of the guests than operating the boat. They spent time together on the bow before moving upstairs, where their behavior became uncomfortable for other passengers. The captain was so distracted that one of the deckhands ended up driving the boat back to the dock.
The biggest disappointment came after the excursion. Once we returned to our condo, my husband realized he had lost his hearing aid—a medical device, not just a personal belonging. We called repeatedly, left multiple voicemails, sent emails, and contacted the company through Viator. We never received a single response or acknowledgment from anyone.
While I appreciate the crew's effort to accommodate my gluten-free meal and found the boat to be clean, the lack of communication before and after the trip, the confusing boarding process, the captain's unprofessional behavior, and the complete absence of any follow-up regarding an expensive medical device left us extremely disappointed.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this excursion to my friends or family.

Your comments about the captain’s behavior are extremely concerning. Smoking onboard, especially after stating it is prohibited, is unacceptable. Additionally, any unprofessional conduct, including distractions, inappropriate interactions with guests, or failing to remain focused on vessel operation, goes against our standards and will be addressed immediately with management.
The lack of follow‑up about your husband’s hearing aid is something we take very seriously. Losing a medical device is stressful, and you deserved a prompt response. We apologize deeply for the silence you experienced. This is not how we handle lost‑and‑found inquiries, and we will investigate why your messages were not acknowledged.
While we’re glad you found the boat clean and appreciated the crew’s courtesy, we fully understand why the overall experience left you disappointed. Your feedback highlights several areas where we must improve, communication, professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness.

The ride to the island is a bit bumpy and made a couple people in our group sick so I would recommend taking some Dramamine. They provide food and drinks and will assist you with everything you need. The guides were very friendly and welcomed questions. We even threw around a football with them! I definitely recommend doing this with your friends and family.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. as you can see in the descriptions and the emails and everything else it says to meet at 9AM or whichever time they give you. That is false!! The building and parking lots were empty when my group got there and when we tried calling them- they had changed the time on us without any notice and had apparently taken off for the day and refused to give us refunds or book for a different day. total scam

Your frustration is completely understandable, showing up at the time listed on your ticket and emails, only to find the marina empty and the boat already departed, is an upsetting situation. Regarding the refund, we want to be very clear: if a schedule change prevents you from joining the tour and you were not properly informed, you are entitled to a refund or a rebooking. You'll be well fed, and snacks won't run out. The guides will be very nice, and safety precautions will seem to be met. Most of the guides, however, will not be from the Island; they will be staff workers from water tour companies that travel around the world. This diminishes the experience and is reflected in the music choice, setting the vibe for the tour. The boat felt a little dirty. I wish they had hosed the floor and seats off mid-trip because when barefoot and in little more than a swimsuit, looking and stepping on mushy wet crumbs, chips, and hair just feels nasty. One of the staff members had long black hair (I do too) and, after taking a swim, decided to brush out her wet hair and knots, openly disposing of her shed hair onto the wet boat floor in front of the food setup area. It was so gross to look at, as a long-haired girl who understands shedding and brushing, I would never. We all had to stand on her wet hair as we plated our lunch. Besides that, I was grateful to have gotten on the boat because they had to wait for me. While we did leave on time, give or take 3-4 minutes, I was late, the last one to board, and it must have been my fault. Let's be clear, they don't have to wait for anyone, so don't be late. We had planned to be super early and hang out in the marina since we were staying only 15 min away, but things had to change, and we decided to show up "on time," or so I thought. Every notification and ticket I received said 9 am. I filled out the paperwork and waivers in advance. But at 8:40, when I was 6 min away, I got a call (thank goodness) asking if I planned on arriving. I said yes and was informed that the "check-in" window was 8:00-8:45 am, and it had not closed! I was shocked and asked if they could wait since I was only 6 min out. They said the captain would be asked. I got a call back 2 min later and was told to go directly to the boat. I arrived at the address given, which was a shopping center with zero sinage or directions for the tour company. I called back and got no answer. I called again while driving around in a panic, asking anyone I saw if they knew where to go, and got no help, finaly they picked up, and I told them I was there but did not know where to go. The woman on the phone said to drive all the way to the end of the white gate (the equivalent of 2 long NYC streets), and they were the last ones. Well, that didn't work because one rusty iron white gate just turned into another, more modern-designed white gate, and kept going to a dead end. Again, I turned back and found 1 tour guide from another company to ask, and he said to go past the dead tree trunk painted like the PR flag and look for the small gate opening after that. Wow - anyway, I found it now 5 min past the 6 min I had promised, and saw the boat in the distance already loaded with people. In the end, I made it, stressed, embarrassed, frustrated, and with my BP sky high at this point. Yes, I likely missed the 1 notice that showed the check-in requirement, and that is me, but no follow-up email, text, or notification mentioned it, and I received several. Additionally, the woman giving me directions was clearly not the shopping center listed on their info could have been more specific about where to go. She did say she'd come out the gate, but when I drove by, no one was there. Still, at 8:52 am, I was parked and walking to the boat. Logistically, they could have done better, but they were within their right not to wait. They did, and my daughter and I still had a nice time once I calmed down. However, I did this tour with another company that charged about $120 more for two ppl It was worth the peace of mind because no detail was unclear, all boat staff were from the island, and the vibe was excellent start to finish. You get what you pay for. Read all the words and be 1 hr early - then you'll have a good time here (wear water shoes on the boat).

Amazing time, beaches are phenomenal, a MUST for anyone visiting puerto rico. Important info, the waves can be brutal getting there, waves up to 5 feet and more can rock the boat significantly. If you have motion sickness of any kind, please PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TAKE MOTION SICKNESS PILLS. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, YOU WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME. Motion sickness is no joke on a boat, you will have a very, VERY bad time. Never really been on a boat to realize I had sever motion sickness like that. Thankfully my wife found some people who shared some motion sickness pills with me, was able to get back with no issues. Also, the sun there is BRUTAL, make sure to have proper sun screen. Came back so sunburned. Other than that amazing experience would highly recommend, best thing we did on our puerto rico trip.

Though we got an email the day before that the snorkeling would not be possible near the shores of Culebra Island due to strong currents (which would also cancel the Flamingo Bay trip) and instead we would be going to Vieques Island. The tour company gave us an option to cancel the tour or rebook it at a future date. We decided to stick with it since it was at short notice given the few days we had in Puerto Rico. To our surprise, based on the weather conditions on the day of departure, the crew was able to stick to the original itinerary to Culebra Island. The crew was friendly, courteous and very professional. One thing I would say is if someone has motion sickness, I would consider avoiding the tour or taking some medicine prior to boarding, since waves can be quite choppy sometimes. One of the passengers had quite a tough time dealing with it.
