Andreas was a wonderful guide and a great person. The places we stopped at were very beautiful. He was very informative on the history of the island. Lunch was also amazing It was an everything we expected.

Andrés was a fantastic tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about both Faial and Pico. We had an amazing picnic lunch, tour of the island, and a very interesting wine tasting at Czar. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

The owner and operator of this company is a kindly and generous man—a local resident on Faial Island. His wife makes yummy lunch for you and he brings plenty of water, wine and beer for the journey.
The sights are beautiful if you have the sun cooperating. The UNESCO wine area is interesting too as there are only a few of these in existence.
I used this gentlemen for both a tour of Faial and Pico Islands. As long as you have managed expectations (These are not Flores and Corvo) and good weather I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The trips are quite pricey for a solo traveler but one must understand that this is the cost of a private tour.

Dear Robert, thank you very much. It was a pleasure for me to spend the two days on Faial and Pico together. Yes, for solo travellers it is not the cheapest option to have a private tour. But I always try to give my best, so that my guests can get most out of their journey.

War eine sehr schöne, spannende und Organisierte Reise von Horta nach Pico. Wir haben sehr viel über die Insel und auch über die Inselgruppe erfahren. Ich würde dieses Erlebnis jedem empfehlen der auch gerne die Natur und die Geschichten der Azoren näher kennen lernen möchte. Jede unserer Fragen konnte ausführlich beantwortet werden. Auch das Picknick war sehr lecker, genau wie der gebotene Wein. Es wurden alle Vorstellungen übertroffen. Wir sind sehr froh diese Reise gebucht zu haben, um einen noch besseren Einblick in die Azoren zu bekommen. Vielen Dank nochmals für die sehr angenehme Tour.
