Outstanding wine, oysters and muscles

We were blown away by this gastro experience. Tomi was a fantastic guide and we highly recommend him. He was highly knowledgeable and very personable. He made our experience feel very private and really catered to us. The wine museum was interesting and the wine tasting was excellent. We loved all of the wine we sampled and purchased the Rose. Ston was also an outstanding experience. We loved learning about oyster farming, took a bunch of sunset photos and enjoyed the freshest and most delicious oysters and muscles we’ve ever tasted. Don’t hesitate, book this excursion.

Très jolie excursion au départ de Dubrovnik, jusqu’à STON. Nous avons passé la journée avec notre chauffeur Tomi qui nous a conduits au musée du vin (avec dégustation), puis dans la baie de STON pour faire un tour de bateau (dégustation d’huîtres très fraîches et moules avec un petit verre de vin blanc) et enfin, à STON pour voir la muraille et les marais salants. Dommage qu’il ne soit pas prévu de temps libre à STON pour visiter les salines ou monter au début de la muraille pour faire une jolie photo ! Le temps était magnifique, notre guide vraiment sympa et l’excursion très agréable ! 2 petits bémols cependant : - Sur le site, il est indiqué « français : écrit » au moment du choix de la langue et même si je ne m’attendais pas à un guide qui parle français, je pensais au moins que nous aurions eu un document écrit en français mais ce n’était pas le cas ; - Le départ était prévu à 10h mais finalement, le chauffeur est arrivé à 11h15. Rien de grave puisque nous avions été prévenus vers 9h le matin mais du coup, l’heure de retour a décalé notre programme de visite de Dubrovnik et c’est dommage (excursion d’environ 6h, sachant que les musées ferment à 17h30 en octobre) !
