The few stops were good but the causeway is the main attraction. We were lucky enough to have a tour guide/driver who i was informative, funny and engaging

We were very disappointed in the hotel and overall value for the tour. The other couple traveling with us paid the same price and got the much nicer Europe Hotel in Belfast. We ended up in the lower quality Duke of Queens hotel with a room 108 where the air conditioner did not work. The result was a very warm room which caused a miserable night for sleeping. The hotel had could not fix the A/C or move us to another room. The escorted part of the tour was just a person at the train station to hand out your tickets and tour vouchers. I should have instead just booked my own train trip between Dublin and Belfast. The stations are fairly small and easy to find your way around. In Belfast, I could have booked my own Belfast and Game of Thrones tour through Viator and overall saved a lot of money.

The first class train ride from Dublin to Belfast was uneventful. They did charge for everything including coffee and tea. When we arrived in Belfast we were directed to a Coach and were taken to our hotels to drop off luggage. They then gave us passes for the Hop On/Hop Off bus. We decided to go to visit the Titanic Experience. Recommend it if you are a Titanic buff. The next day we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and were picked up to start our tour. Our guide Derick was awesome and very entertaining. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend this excursion even if you are not a Game of Thrones fan like us. We went on the tour with our friends that we were traveling with. Now we will be binge watching GoT! Thanks Derick!!!!

This tour was truly one of the highlights of my 12 day trip to Ireland! I should also say that I was a 32 year old single female traveling alone, and I was VERY cautious about what tours and trips I wanted to book. I selected this tour over a less expensive tour of similar locations and I am happy to say that I made the correct choice. The train ride to Belfast wasn't too long and had amazing scenery. I stayed at the Europa and they even let me check in early to catch a much needed nap before exploring the city. I took advice, from everyone, and did the Black Taxi Tour. I very much enjoyed it although I have heard that it depends very much on the driver and what their and your political/ religious backgrounds may be. This was not my experience at all, but family members that went two days later seemed to encounter this issue. The location of the Europa was perfect and I was able to walk across the street to the Crown Bar and then walked around to different restaurants and bars. The bars inside the Europa had excellent views and were very nice for a nightcap before bed!
The tour itself was AMAZING. Derek was the absolute best! Unsurprisingly, his knowledge of tv and film extended far past GoT and I was able to speak with him during the non- narrated part of the tour at length about several other shows and movies that we had in common. Being the biggest GoT fan on the bus, probably helped! But with that being said, you absolutely do not need to be a fan of the show to take this tour. The locations were absolutely amazing, and this tour hit almost every location in Northern Ireland that I wanted to see! Lunch at the Fullerton Arms was also great, and I found some other lonely travelers to enjoy a drink or two. I highly recommend making friends on the tour I wish I would have earlier in the day or the day before!
If you are on the fence about this tour, my advice is to book it! I was on this tour in May and I am currently creating large canvases for my walls from some of the pictures taken on this trip. If you have any doubts- just check out my pictures!

Awesome day! We enjoy seeing the sites where Game of Thrones was filmed. The Giant's Causeway was amazing to see.
Derrick was a fabulous guide. He made sure we get to see all the stops and even threw in few extra ones. It clearly shows he's a big fan of the show.
We absolutely recommend this to everyone! Very fun trip!

LOTS AND LOTS of walking to get to most of the sites, so worth it! It rained the day we were on the tour but it didn't matter since we still saw everything, including Scotland at a distance.

This was the highlight of my trip to Ireland. I was torn between booking this trip and a much cheaper 2 day trip to Northern Ireland that I found which was bus based. Ultimately I bit the bullet and paid more for this one, as that had mediocre reviews and this one had excellent reviews, and I did not regret it.
You start on a lovely train ride north to Belfast, and then are checked into your hotel. After that, you climb aboard the complimentary hop on hop off bus tour, which you are recommended to not hop off of in the first cycle, so that you can get a full tour of Belfast. The tour is great, with excellent commentary on the city and its turbulent history. Then you go to the Titanic Museum, also included with this trip. I thought it sounded lame that Belfast's crowning attracting was a Titanic museum, but I understimated the quality of the museum. It's truly top notch and state of the art as museums go, and it's huge.
After that, you're on your own! I did a solo trip to Ireland, but hooked up with a group of other youngsters and spent the rest of the day exploring the city, going to pubs, and having a great time. While I would have spent less money and stayed at a hostel if that were an option, once the money was already spent, I must admit I was very pleased with the luxury of the hotel, by my standards at least. An Irish breakfast buffet is included.
Then the 7 of us who had been on the train to Belfast joined a larger group on the coach game of Thrones tour. It was the best of the several bus tours I took in Ireland. The tour guide was funny, informative, and impressed me with his Game of Thrones knowledge. I also spoke to a man on the tour who didn't watch the show but still enjoyed himself. We went to at least 10 stops covering all 6 seasons so far, plus the Giant's Causeway and the Carick-a-rede rope bridge, not from the show. The amount they packed into this trip dwarfed every other day trip I took in Ireland. Truly top notch and worth the price!

We LOVED this tour. Belfast and sightseeing was great and getting to where we needed to go was very smooth, easy and carefully planned. We really didn't have to worry about anything. The Game of Thrones tour was AWESOME. This was the highlight of our entire Ireland trip. Derrick was a fantastic guide and you can tell he is very much a fan of the show. It was really great to be able to visit the places featured in the show and the Giants Causeway is simply wonderful. We will be raving about this tour to all of our friends.

SO MUCH FUN!!!!! My husband and I were traveling with our 20 year old daughter. She is the game of thrones watcher. We are not. But I wanted to schedule something I thought she would like and Eric and I were excited about Belfast. Well...I can't say enough great things about this tour. Northern Ireland was unbelievable. The train ride was awesome. The city of Belfast is full of history and beautiful. We took the hop on hop off all around the city. We went to the Titanic visitor center and enjoyed it very much. Our bus guide was very informative. We learned a lot about the city. Our hotel was fantastic. The next day we got on the bus for the game of thrones day. My daughter LOVED it! I have to say...I enjoyed it as much as my daughter did. The sites we visited were beautiful and we learned a lot about the show. It was so much fun. Highly recommend. Just soaking in the landscape of Northern Ireland was worth the whole trip!

Day 1: Spending the evening in Belfast at the Europa was really cool. They were extremely accommodating when an issue arose with us needing to change rooms. The process was super simple and well explained. Belfast has a grittier feel than Dublin for sure, but it has come a long way as I understand and seems like it is ready to welcome the tourism industry back with open arms. Also very cool to get a better understanding of the Troubles from a local perspective. Hop on Hop off in Belfast was full of great info. Spent a late night at Robinsons Tavern across from the Europa singing dancing and having an absolute blast.This tour was really incredible. In planning this trip, my friend and I actually signed up for a different 2-day tour to Belfast and the Causeway, but the dates that we wanted weren't available. This GoT tour was not our first choice. It was a bit more expensive and although we both watch the show, neither of us are die hard fanatics. IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. Seeing the filming sites that we did on day 2 was incredible and I now watch the show with new eyes. I didn't think I could be awestruck more than just to see the natural beauty of the land, but I really was. The photo opportunities were amazing. The sites were amazing.
I'll finish by saying that our guide Derrick was hilarious, knowledgeable and extremely conscientious of the needs of his group. I was traveling with a friend who has mobility issues due to MS. We let Derrick know and he was so lovely in paying special mind to point out to us all of the potential limitations at each stop on our tour. He was really a lovely man and made her spirits high with his conversation and understanding. His ability to roll through some pretty intense GoT conspiracy theories developed by a few members of our groups was hilarious. GREAT GUY. He truly made the trip worth it. I literally have reenacted things that he did and said to my friends several times...that kind of funny.

Dirty business tactics to lure people in to buy a tour by offering discounts that disappear and are not honored. Phoned and got the run around, phoned again and got the run around. Probably better to know to the actual tour company rather than broker like this company.

My wife and I really enjoyed this trip. It was an excellent opportunity to see a lot of Northern Ireland without having to rent a car, figure out hotel reservations, best places to stops etc. We thought the price was reasonable considering the services offered. The enjoyment was well worth the cost. The only reason it's a 4 start instead of a 5 is the we did feel little rushed during certain stops.

The day in Belfast was full and I definitely recommend the Titanic Museum for both kids and adults what with its interactive displays and organization. The Hotel Europa was lovely for the one night stay. Day2, Derek Derrick our tour guide was absolutely funny. The sites around Northern Ireland were breath taking and the added fun was the GoT aspect. Thank you!

yeah, it is all that my children expected. The guide was absolutely fantastic, very funny and knowledgeable. Great history of Ireland and the Troubles. Northern Ireland and Belfast: what change! Really nice. We were struck by how nice everyone is on this island. The hotel was great. The Titanic tour was great. It definitely is worth doing this tour. In general, all the tours were highly professional and every one outdid themselves to help us and make sure we were comfortable. Very nice. We will be back.

Had such a great time on this tour! Sean from rail tours was so kind, and helped us in our way to Belfast. Day two started the GoT tour which was incredible! Derrick from McCombs tour company(I believe it was?) was hilarious and really knew his stuff! I'd recommend this to anyone, fan or not.

Overall, I'm thrilled to have taken this tour. It was easy to find the tour escort at Connolly station, and during the train ride, he provided us with some information about the local areas. In Belfast, he handed us off to the local tour operator, who took us directly to our hotel (Europa) for luggage drop-off. The hotel was wonderful! The first day involved exploring Belfast independently, mainly through the hop-on/off bus. The bus route and commentary are very good, but in winter months, be aware that the bus will stop running very early (by 4 p.m.) and only comes every half hour, which can be a problem in bad/cold weather, as some of the stops (e.g. Peace Wall) have no readily available shelter. Also note that the bus ride out to Stormont involves a somewhat lengthy highway journey, so if you are on the top level of the bus, hold on to your hats and ensure you are dressed to stay warm! The Titanic museum is outstanding and not to be missed - but leave plenty of time, because there are 7 floors to explore! The GoT day tour was really great. Our tour guide, Philip, has a magical, engaging way of weaving his stories and relating his vast knowledge of local history and legend back to GoT. Some of the stops were more interesting than others, but on the whole, the countryside is gorgeous, and the tour was very well done. Be prepared for a long stop at the Giant's Causeway (possibly including lunch). Depending on the size of your group, you may be in a mini-bus - this was the only real downside, as tall individuals will find the seating somewhat cramped. This tour is not too physically intense, but the tour guide tended to walk quickly, and there were some hills getting into and out of the locations. (At the Giant's Causeway, there is a 15 minute walk downhill and 20 minutes back up, but there is also a cheap bus that you can take.) All in all, this tour is highly recommended and was very much enjoyed!

Pünktlich empfing uns unser Reiseleiter auf dem Bahnhof in Dublin. Leider bekamen wir nur wenig Informationen im Zug zu unserer Reise. In Belfast wurden wir dann in einem Bus gesteckt und zum Hotel Europa gefahren. Dort meinte der Busfahrer das gleich jemand kommen würde, um uns die Tickets für die Game of Thrones-Tour am nächsten Tag zu bringen. Doch niemand kam. So mußten wir uns auf eigene Faust durchfragen, wo der Hop on-Hop off Bus denn nun losfährt. Das Titanic Museum ist ganz nett, beschäftigt sich aber fast ausschließlich mit dem Bau des Schiffes. Lediglich 2 Kabinen sind ausgestellt. Am nächsten Tag wurden wir dann trotzdem auch ohne Tickets zur Game of Thrones Tour abgeholt. Die Tour ging von 9 Uhr bis 18.30 Uhr. Leider hat man immer nur sehr wenig Zeit an den Punkten. Besonders bei dem Hafen der Eiseninseln war so wenig Zeit, daß man nie hätte zu Fúß die 1,5 km bis zum Hafen hätte schaffen können. Also blieben nur Fotos aus der Ferne. Hier wäre ein Shuttleverkehr in Minibussen angebracht. Die Seilbrücke war dann der Hammer! Und nur Viator-Kunden hatten den Eintritt inklusive!!! Auch der Giants Causeway war sehr schön. Ebenso wie die Dark Hedges.
