Desert safari with dune buggy with unexpected upsells and minor issues

We had an amazing trip the pickup from hotel was smooth and proper instructions were shared about the trip. We drove to the desert and our guide bought the ticket for our 1 hour buggy ride. We were 2 people but we shared one dune buggy. This is unclear and unexpected because the payment was for 2 people and not a couple. The buggy ride was amazing and we had a lot of fun. There was chance to stop multiple times and take pictures, switch drivers etc which made the experience really amazing. After the buggy ride the group (total 6 people) went back to the vehicle and experienced desert safari in the 4x4. We took another break in the middle of the desert between the safari and enjoyed the sunset and took pictures. After that, we drove to tyre inflating point and took a small break and drove to the desert area to watch the dances and enjoy the food. It was also a surprise that there were multiple seating options including premium and VIP seating which had extra charges but included a premium buffet option. The food, sheesha tea and soft drinks were complimentary. Sheesha served on table was not complimentary as well as juices, ice creams & hard drinks. There were also paid henna painting & a longer camel ride. Overall it was a good trip but I felt that there were upsells and the tour operation included plan to get guests to spend more money.
