We enjoyed our tour with Erik and he was very knowledgable and pointed out things along the way that we wouldn't have known about. We had already guided ourselves around Willemstad in the morning and so had asked to see scenic viewpoints in the rest of the island, particularly along the coast seeing the beaches, cliffs and blow-holes I had seen in pictures. We did go to some scenic beaches along the west coast and they were very beautiful. We also saw iguanas and some beautiful birds, which ticked our wildlife box. However, we were very disappointed that Erik had not found out the closing time of Shete Boka park in advance and we arrived too late to go in. We then tried what Erik said was an alternative but the path was too difficult. On reflection we felt a bit deflated that we had spent a long time driving for not very much reward in terms of sights seen but maybe it is just that Curacao doesn't have that much to offer people who don't want to swim and sunbathe. I was shocked at how much rubbish there was everywhere (outside the manicured beaches with their imported sand) and how little seemed to be being done to preserve the heritage and environment that presumably the economy relies upon. So we learnt a lot and we probably wouldn't return but that is not to say that Erik's tour was any less enjoyable.

Erik was awesome! My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed the tour Erik put together for us. It was a nice mix of history, beach and sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Erik is very knowledgeable of the history of Curaçao! This island is gorgeous! You can customize your experience and Erik takes you on a journey not to forget! The artists and reconstruction of historic homes exciting! The colors of buildings painted murals and each quad of the city brilliant! Diving capital as well. We highly recommend this tour Lovely to make a new friend in Erik! We will come back to spend time again.

We had an incredible experience in Curaçao thanks to our amazing tour guide, Erik! We truly can’t say enough good things about him. Not only did he take us to all the must-see tourist spots, but he also shared some hidden gems that made the day even more special.
One of the highlights was when he joined us for lunch at one of his favorite local fish restaurants—the food was absolutely incredible, and we enjoyed every moment of it. The tour was supposed to be 4 hours, but we were having such an amazing time that we ended up spending an extra hour together—he never rushed us and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal.
If you’re ever in Curaçao and looking for the best possible tour experience, be sure to ask for Erik!! What started as a tour quickly turned into a friendship—we’re so grateful to have met him!

This was the best shore excursion ever! Erik our tour guide was awesome and fun. He showed us parts of the island that was outside the beaten path but so fun, informative and interesting. We stopped for lunch at a local fish place, walked around enjoying the murals and then based on our conversation he dropped us to do a little sea glass hunting in a local beach. That was the highlight of our tour. If you are considering a private tour I would not hesitate to go with Erik.

A well thought out way to learn and explore the island. Erik was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Erik was a great tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour he put together for us. He came right to our condo to get us. We picked a start time of 10:00 and he was there promptly. Originally he asked what we wanted to see and do on our tour. He made suggested, we did some research and he put together a tour taylormade for us! He took us to places we would never have found on our own. He’s funny, courteous and an all around great person. You would not regret booking a tour with him!

A great experience with Erik. He made our time in Curacao fun plus we learned so much about the island and its history. He checked off all our boxes of what we wanted to do. He even brought chairs and snorkel equipment for our time at a local beach. Stunning views of the coast line noted on stops also. SAS was great. We had our day pre planned with her but after we got going we adjusted the plans with her advice and I believe it was better than what we originally planned. We ended up at Daaibooi beach which was stunning and then Coral Estate Resort for drinks and lunch. Way better than going to Mambo Beach.

Touring with Sunny Rides was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all of my expectations.
From the very beginning Erik had excellent communication which made the entire process seamless. We especially appreciated the personalization of the tour. We loved exploring the island's art, history, and culture while discovering hidden treasures we likely would have missed otherwise. The itinerary provided a wonderful balance between the local sights and the island's natural beauty and nature. Erik had a wealth of information about the islands, it's heritage and it's people.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the short hike to view the sunset over the ocean and then a short drive to watch the sun disappear into the horizon from that secluded cove in the fishing village—with no other tourists in sight. It was an absolutely magical moment.
We had a lovely time, and I will highly recommend Sunny Rides and Erik to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable island adventure. Thank you again for such a memorable experience.

This was the best tour ever!! Eric, owner of Sunny Ride Curacao showed us a wonderful time on this fully customized tour of the island. He showed us everything we wanted to see and more!! He was very knowledgeable of the island and encouraged us to don’t be afraid to walk through the alleyways because there are many beautiful murals painted on the walls and stairs that would be missed if you didn’t. Artwork is everywhere on this island and made completely from recycled materials. Eric was a real trooper by helping with my husband, who has trouble walking, by putting his wheelchair and walker constantly in and out of his vehicle. Bless his heart….he was so patient and courteous with us!! We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Bocas on the beach, where some of our crew had locally caught fresh grilled Red Snapper!! We enjoyed Eric’s company and his tour very much and would not hesitate to book with Sunny Ride Curacao again!! Thank you Eric so much for a tour to remember!!

I booked the night before and when the tour operator didn't show up, I called. They informed me they had been out and about and hasn't seen their notification of the booking, but agreed to pick us up an hour later. The tour felt very... un-planned, hurried and lacked personality and substance. Don't get me wrong, Saskia was nice and friendly, she answered all our questions, just dry and not much to add to the experience. She complained a lot about what people should and shouldn't be doing on the island.

Because the booking was made the night before, we unfortunately had very limited time to see and process the notification and to properly prepare the tour. Our private tours are fully customizable and normally rely heavily on the guests’ input and preferences. With more preparation time, we are usually able to tailor the route, pace, stories, and overall flow much better to create a richer and more personal experience.
That said, this is an explanation — not an excuse. The start should have been smoother, and the tour should never feel rushed or unplanned. We truly appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve and prevent this from happening again.

This tour was absolutely perfect! Erik took our requests and curated an itinerary that hit all of our points of interests and more. He gave us insight into the island’s history. We saw the local neighborhoods and fantastic art and sculptures. We really enjoyed hearing information about the island, history, culture, and local tips from Erik. We had an outstanding tour with Erik. Very funny and knowledgeable. Erik reached out asking what we wanted to do. We provided him a list of a 6 to 8 places we wanted to go see. Erik then put together a tour that suited what we were looking for and sent it to us to approve. Once approved he asked us the times we would like to do the tour. Day of the tour, Erik contacted us and advised the vehicle to watch for. During the tour we asked if we could change up the tour a bit. We didn't mind taking a few of our initial requests to make it happen. Erik was able to make the changes to fit into the 4 hr tour. Everything that Erik showed us was just amazing. From the flamingos to the Floating bridge just made the tour so much better. I highly recommend Erik as a tour guide.

Erik was amazing! Right from the beginning he reached out, found out my interest and customized the tour. The pace was as fast or slow as I wanted it to be. We were able to make changes and recommendations as the tour progressed. I've never had a tour so tailored. The price was beyond reasonable, it is not per person, it is per car up to four people, wow. The sights and views were breathtaking. I can say without a doubt, this is the BEST tour I have ever had. Everyone should use this tour operator.
