Awesome day in Curaçao with Joey! We traveled the whole island, saw and experienced almost everything. From Beautiful coastlines, blow holes and beaches to lunch on a cliff overlooking a picturesque cove. Joey took the time to point out all the wildlife along the way. The sea turtle stop was beyond our expectation! To swim and snorkel with turtles in their natural environment, they would even swim up to you face to face. We really this experience and all the information Joey provided and look forward to booking this same experience the next time we visit Curaçao.

Sherwin (like the paint) is an amazing tour guide. He will set the day or customize it to your liking. Sheta Boka National Park was beautiful and the swimming with the turtles was amazing.

Joey made us feel welcome from the moment we met him. He quickly modified our tour itinerary to meet our group’s preferences - we saw things we would have never found on our own, and Joey was a wealth of knowledge about so many subjects on Curacao. His sense of humor added to the experience. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Highly recommend this tour!

Sherwin was absolutely the best guide. He designed our excursion to our desires and needs. We chose to go for a quick trip to the caves, visit the north shore lookout area. We went snorkeling in Play Grandi and loved seeing many beautiful fish and the turtles. Turtles were so close that one even bumped into us. Sherwin had arranged the best meal ever for us at Playa Forti restaurant.
If we ever come back to Curaçao we will use this same operator for sure.

Since this was our first visit to Curacao, we wanted a more personalized tour of the island. When our tour guide, Sherwin, picked us up at the Starbucks a few blocks from the cruise ship terminal, he asked us what things we were interested in seeing on the island. We told him our preferences, and he setup a great tour specifically based on what we were interested in seeing. that alone made the trip great. We then proceeded to tour Willemstad and the beautiful buildings. We crossed the Queen Emma pontoon bridge, and saw much of the Dutch architecture in the city. We then drove to see Flamingo's in the wild, and I was able to get some amazing pictures. We then went to the Shete Boka National park for some amazing views of the volcanic rock north shoreline, and a beautiful blowhole where huge waves burst skywards. After this we traveled to a beach on the western side of the island where we were able to swim with a number of turtles. The images and videos I was able to make of the turtles feeding and swimming amongst us were great. The final portion of the trip was a lunch at a local restaurant that was located on a cliff's edge overlooking the bay. I had told Sherwin that I wanted to try the local beers and menu, and he recommended a great beer, and I had Conch for the first time. It was a great lunch relaxing and looking over the bay from the clifftop setting. We were absolutely impressed with the entire tour, and Sherwin is an excellent guide. He obviously enjoys what he is doing, and his intimate knowledge of the local customs was great for us to listen to. Overall, if i could give this tour a 6 star rating, I would. Highly recommended.

For gone caribe tours Mr Williams was delightful. Sherwood’s knowledge of the Island was
superb and he educated us well with facts and figures so we felt like we knew the place forever.
Sherman was also an excellent driver and kept us ahead of the maddening crowd for the whole
tour. He showed us the right places to shop and eat and we also had some special requests and
he fulfilled them all. Took us to a local restaurant at the beach, food was great and so was the
price. All kidding aside, his name is Sherwin, just like the paint, hence the name Mr. Williams. He
made us feel comfortable the whole time and we highly recommend SHERWIN, HE’S THE
BEST!!! We give the highest rating possible.

Gone Caribe is run by Joey and his wife. They make the trip personal to your expectations and provide you with numerous opportunities to enjoy the island. The trip started with a short walk to meet Joey at Starbucks, and we moved to his vehicle (parked at location) and started our journey. He took us to see the blow hole and some beautiful landscape of the coast (Shete Boka National Park). All while providing us details of the island and history. After a few other scenic stops, we went to Playa Piskado where he parked right at the beach and provided us snorkel gear and locked up our belongings (where he sat next to the vehicle and watched over everything (including us while swimming - bring a towel to the beach as we exited the water. He took us to an amazing restaurant that overlooked the ocean and a place where people would cliff dive (we witnessed one women take the leap of faith into the water). He recommended some local dishes and I was impressed with the taste and value. Afterwards we visited Santa Martha Bay and took pictures. With another stop at the Flaming Sanctuary where we witnessed several flamingo's eating and enjoying the water. Our final stop was in town where he walked us through Hamilton to see the Queen Emma bridge, shops and a stop for Gelato. Joey was very personable and made sure that we had a great day on the island. Near the end of the trip, you felt like you were with a friend taking around to see the site. I highly recommend this trip to anyone that visits Curacao. It is a great way to see the island in a very personalized visit.

We had an absolutely incredible day on the 6-Hour Private Guided Tour Beyond the Beaches of Curaçao! From start to finish, our guide Sherwin made the experience one of the best tours we’ve ever done anywhere in the world.
Sherwin was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty and history of Curaçao. The tour was completely customizable and tailored to our interests. We visited the Curaçao distillery, saw wild flamingoes, swam at a beach with sea turtles, and enjoyed a delicious local lunch where Sherwin personally handled all the ordering and recommendations. He also made sure we had plenty of photo opportunities at stunning spots along the way.
Pickup and drop-off were simple and convenient, located very close to our cruise ship and easy to find. Everything ran smoothly, leaving us with plenty of time and zero stress.
Overall, the tour exceeded our expectations in every way. It was memorable, seamless, and an absolute must-do when visiting Curaçao.

I never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to for this excursion. The entire experience was great and very thought out from start to finish. The host is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. You can tell that he loves what he does. He curates the whole experience around what you want and with his knowledge of the area he is able to come up with the perfect itinerary. He came fully prepared with cold water bottles and anything you might need. He even stopped and bought me and my sister snacks. I would 100% book with him again in the future. If you are looking to make the most out of your day in curaçao then this is the excursion to book!

Sherwin was the absolute best. This was by far the best tour we've ever been on in all of our travels. We were able to do whatever we wanted but Sherwin had idea to give. He made the day so fun. From the distillery, to the sea turtles, to the meals with a view, to the wild flamingos, to the local snack shop, to the perfume lab. We had a blast the whole time. What a great experience and we can't thank Sherwin enough!

This is the only way to go. There were three of us, and Joey customized our tour to meet our interests. But we really just gave over to him, because he was such a mensch. He has the gift of the gab, but he is also a wonderful conversationalist. By the end of the tour, we felt like we made a friend rather than being lectured at by a tour guide. He is deeply knowledgeable about everything related to Curaçao and the lesser Antilles. He was always really great at adapting to little hiccups, like a road being closed, due to construction or a sudden rain shower. We would bypass some of the tourist traps and go instead to fabulous locations with stunning views. Everyone knew him at the restaurant we went to, and we got the best table to view people diving off of a cliff. Please support this small tour operator. He's just the best.

Joey made our day in Curacao the BEST DAY ever!! He was so knowledgeable and made us feel like family! We did All the Things and more! We swam with sea turtles, ate the BEST local lunch by the ocean and enjoyed the National park which was incredible. There was not another way I would have wanted to spend my day .. An experience that was all inclusive! We had a phenomenal host, Sherwin who clearly has a passion for Curacao, Family and his wonderful job! The scenic views, and beaches provided a great opportunity for the best pictures and memories. By the way, Sherwin becomes your photographer also, lol. Joseph was the most wonderful host. He picked us up at our hotel precisely on time and spoke with us about what attractions and activities we wanted to do. He quickly put together a schedule that maximized our time having fun and minimized our time on the road, including visiting the Hato Cave, snorkeling with sea turtles, seeing the wild flamingoes, swimming at a gorgeous beach, and enjoying a delicious, authentic (and vegetarian) lunch.
Once we got on the road, he provided a comfortable and nicely cooled ride while providing great commentary about the history and culture of the island. At each stop he made sure we knew just where to go and what to do and guarded our valuables while we snorkeled with sea turtles and swam on the beach.
All in all it was a wonderful way to see the rest of the island and the perfect complement to our own self-guided tour of downtown Willemstaad. Whether you are a cruise guest just in Curacao for a day or, like us, staying on the island for a longer visit, you won't regret booking this tour.

We had a private tour with 12 friends. Joey and Sherwin were our guides. Four rode in a car with Joey and 8 rode in a van with Sherwin. The van was a rustic. We visited the flamingos, some amazing blow holes/waterfront, some large turtles in a congested area as they were obviously a hit with the folks, an authentic Curacao restaurant, some interesting sites of the city with the history along the way and the Blue Curacao liquor distillery.
Both Joey and Sherwin were perfect guides with much knowledge of all of the locations we visited. The only reason they didn't give them a 5 is because of the transportation. The van was a bit rugged. We enjoyed the tour and would use them again. Sherwin was great at grabbing the camera and taking pictures of our group.

This was such an amazing tour. Our guide, Joseph was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and provided a lot of history of the island. We got to visit a few beaches, saw flamingo, swam with turtles and snorkled, visited the national park and got to visit a few lesser known spots/lookout points around the west side of the island. I would highly recommend booking with this tour operator and would definitely book with Gone Caribe again for future trips to curaçao.

We would highly recommend this wonderful experience of Curaçao! From booking through the tour, everything was top notch. Joseph and Jessica do a phenomenal job with this tour company. Joseph was responsive and communicative about the meeting point and time and his wife Jessica is one of the best guides we have had on any tour ever. The sites were stunning, the information Jessica provided was extremely helpful, and her personality just fit so well with our own style. Pickup at the cruise ship pier was flawless.
