Overview

For those who don’t want to commit to a full scuba diving course, this introductory experience is the perfect compromise. Join a private dive instructor and head to shallow waters to learn the basics of scuba diving. Then, once you’re comfortable, head out to one of the nearby reefs where you can see an abundance of colorful corals and marine life.

Worst. Since others knew how to do scuba, less focus given to me. I felt little discrimination as I was the only English speaker and others were speaking the same language as instructor. Therefore no much instruction given to me compare to others. we went inside the water and I was not able to go inside the water bcz of weight and no understanding of how to operate and I was told if I wanted to get out then go ahead but no refund

Great Discovery Dive

This was our second time to dive with Jan Thiel and it was great! Esmee was wonderful and was great with family members who were nervous. Worked great for cruises who are only in port for the day. She picked us up and dropped us back off close to our ship. Highly recommend!

I had such an amazing time scuba diving with Jan Thiel Diving School. My Instructor Esmee was such a good instructor to me as I was a first-time diver. She was very patient and taught me the basics to understand scuba diving. As we entered the water she navigated with me underwater to see many things and was even so kind as to take pictures and videos of me. I would recommend her as an instructor to anyone!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Curacao! Dennis was an excellent instructor - easygoing and very supportive of all of us, including our 11-year-old daughter, who swam like a fish and me, a much older, nervous first-time diver. We had a wonderful time diving around the sunken tugboat and looking at all of the fish and corals. Lieke took some fantastic photos that we will cherish forever... It was a truly magical experience and we can't wait to go diving again!

Amazing First Dive Experience

Amazing intro dive for our family. Dennis and Cas were excellent instructors and we had a blast. We were comfortable from the time they picked us up near the port (couple minute walk) until they dropped us back off at the cruise ship. One of our kids was extremely nervous and they made her feel comfortable and she did excellent. By the end, she was asking to do it again. If you use them for transport, you actually get to see a good bit of the islands different areas and neighborhoods on your way to and from the dive shop, dive site, and back. I would highly recommend for a great dive experience.
